We hired this vendor to support our testing efforts in the development of software for complex simulators used in the education and training of surgeons.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We selected this vendor based on their experience in the QA field, good knowledge of the technologies used in our SW development and cost estimates.

They support us with the manual testing of our application, especially regression testing, which is very time consuming with our product, as well as confirmation testing.

We worked directly with 2 manual testers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Thanks to the help of QA Werk testers we can manage to cover the full regression testing of our product in a timely manner and very efficiently during the different phases of product development.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They had access to our project in Jira, also to our documentation on Confluence. We could create test plans that were executed in a timely manner and could access the executions and the bugs and issues found. We synchronize with them regularly and discuss further tasks or assignments.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their team often makes suggestions or recommendations on improvements around testing our product.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No.

We needed software testing across an extensive and complex UI with many workflows and technical complexities related to connecting to databases and running sql queries.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

QAWerk was the most communicative and professional vendor we found. They clearly understood how to test complex apps. They had an excellent proposal and were not even the most affordable option but we felt we could get the best results from them and they have delivered.

There was a proposal phase and then we started testing weekly builds of our product with them. They send monthly reports with helpful suggestions and work with our team in a shared slack channel.

Very successful. Our ceo called them “the best vendor he’s ever worked with” and I got major brownie points for their selection. High fives all around.

We interact directly in slack and with shared spreadsheets which is very effective.

They actually care about our application and have innovative suggestions. I was not expecting this.

The main metric we looked at was number of crashes and bug reports from the production application.

QAWerk has been very responsive to requests -- I'm not sure when they ever sleep! The team is very clear and organized with managing the overall project and communication.

Finding, reporting and checking more than 500 bugs, most of them in early stage so they won't be released to the users
