I’m the head of product at GSR Markets, a decentralized finance (DeFi) company. We’re one of the premier capital markets partners within the new DeFi ecosystem. My role is to build a unified platform.

What challenge were you trying to address with Supercharge?

One of the missing links when I came on board was product design expertise.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Supercharge provides us with product design and web development services. Initially, they came on board to do the design. I share a problem statement of what we’re trying to build, and they go away and come back with some ideas in Figma, some sketches, UI designs, and a detailed design system so our developers can pick up those designs and start implementing the code.

Due to the success of their design work, we’ve expanded the scope of our collaboration. I’ve recommended using one of their developers to expedite delivery. We’ve also used Supercharge’s expertise to help work with our web developers to build a new website for the platform.

We use Figma and Figma Magic (an AI tool) to help speed things up.

What is the team composition?

We work with Matt, Laura, a lead developer, their finance team, and their legal team.

How did you come to work with Supercharge?

Supercharge was recommended by a colleague who had done something very similar to me. I was talking with them about an issue I had with some design agencies I was talking to, and they said I should have a chat with Supercharge because they’d done some good work for them.

I put out a tender to 2–3 agencies and chose Supercharge because they were super engaging, friendly, and easy to deal with. They were also competitive commercially.

We’ve spent more than £100,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in August 2025, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve launched our MVP, and our north star metric is monthly active usage. We’re north of 500 monthly active users on the platform, which is a joint success.

The success of the platform is really due to the success of our collaboration with Supercharge. They’re very collaborative and nimble. Other firms make you feel locked in and constrained, but Supercharge is good at adapting to changes.

How did Supercharge perform from a project management standpoint?

They meet deadlines and manage the whole process really well. We use Figma, email, and a joint Slack channel. We also use phone calls and Google Meet.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They help improve processes and make the project more successful by integrating more into the process.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Everyone in the industry is evolving with AI, and Supercharge has started to provide consultancy. An area of improvement is increasing the visibility of how AI can empower and expedite design and development. They’ll start consulting on that expertise, but we haven’t discussed it yet.

What advice would you give to a potential customer?

Integrate them into your process. Don't treat them as a third party; treat them as an integrated partner.

I’m the business product development director for a parcel logistics company responsible for seven countries in Eastern Europe. I’m responsible for software development and innovations in the countries we’re responsible for.

What challenge were you trying to address with Supercharge?

We needed help with mobile application development.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We started our cooperation in September 2023 with multiple workshops with the board of the region companies to understand our needs and where we were positioning our application. We broke down the project with Supercharge into a more granular level and discussed it with our product management and UX teams. Based on these workshops, Supercharge started the coding and iteration on the proposal in November 2023.

We have weekly cooperation with Supercharge and have dedicated teammates in-house to lead and cooperate with the necessary developments. We’ve launched the first country in July 2024 and all six countries in November 2024 on Android and iOS platforms.

Supercharge has used Kotlin-based development, which is the most suitable platform for our needs. The team has also provided UX design. We’ve guided them on how parcel logistics works and the key flows we need for tracking and other necessary purposes. Supercharge has provided all the screens and UX flows. Currently, we're working on new products and new features for the application.

We have a big team for this project, including a backend developer, two mobile developers, a quality engineer, a product strategist, a project coordinator and manager, a key account manager, and a software architect. The product strategist is responsible for the UX flows and UX research.

How did you come to work with Supercharge?

Supercharge has a great reputation in Hungary. I had the pleasure of working with them in my previous positions in other companies, so I have hands-on experience with their capabilities in terms of global development. After some selections from other companies, we chose them based on their offerings, price point, and previous experience.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in September 2023, and our relationship is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We measure the success of the project through the customer experience and the NPS score we have for the application. We’re evaluating not only the download of the application but also the engagement of the users. We’re tracking multiple KPIs, and based on these KPIs, the application across several countries is highly rated. We’re very satisfied with the feedback from the end users.

How did Supercharge perform from a project management standpoint?

Supercharge stays on budget, although the original budget has been extended. However, this isn’t because of sudden changes on Supercharge’s side but because of the change of scope and the necessary engagement on our side. The timelines have also been slightly extended for the same reasons.

We communicate through Microsoft Teams and phone calls. Since Supercharge is based in Italy, we’re able to meet sometimes. We have online meetings every week, mostly Scrum meetings for upcoming developments. We also have quarterly or half-year personal meetings with them to keep up the personal touch.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The speed of delivery and their deep understanding of technology and mobile development are impressive. Supercharge is a leading and trusted part of the industry, and I’m impressed with their expertise in the field.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could be cheaper, but we’re very satisfied with the project, which is why we’re keeping up the cooperation.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be very open and don’t hold back any information regarding your needs. Supercharge will definitely give you a suitable solution. I also advise you to work with them; I enjoy working with them on a professional and personal level.

I'm the managing director of operations for VYRD Insurance, a startup homeowners insurance company. We operate solely in Florida, and we started in 2022. As a startup, we have systems, website, and mobile applications to develop to serve our customers. I oversee all of the IT development, underwriting, and claims operations. What challenge were you trying to address with Supercharge?

We needed to set up a webpage and develop a mobile application for our policyholders. The mobile app needed to integrate with our policy administration and claims systems so that we could provide our policyholders with secure access to their policy information.

At the same time, it was essential to develop a mobile application that is informative to our policyholder, not just a site to make a payment or review a listing of their coverages.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Supercharge has developed our website and mobile app from scratch. The app is for iOS and Android, integrated with our policy administration and claims systems. The team has been instrumental in designing the app, and the messaging to our policyholders. They've evaluated and analyzed the requirements, and we've walked through various design options. Together, we've tweaked the design, and they've developed the app.

The app is informative and explains the policy, the coverages, and the available discounts. We wanted to make the mobile app something that the policyholder can rely on and hopefully will utilize several times throughout the year to provide them with utility besides simply making a payment once a year.
Additionally, Supercharge has helped us integrate data from a third party. They've built the conduit that allows us to receive data real time data which is retained in a data lake for our analysis. They've built our reporting for product development and actuarial rating information.

What is the team composition?

We work with a UI design analyst, a project manager, an individual who manages all the data for us, and some backend developers. We manage everything off of a statement of work. We don't use four people full-time; they're shared resources. Initially, they were full-time resources, but we've gotten to the point where we're just updating things or changing the product, and we need to update some screens.

We have varying levels of support, and we identify what our projects are and what resources we need. Then, Supercharge augments whatever they need to with their team to meet our needs.

How did you come to work with Supercharge?

Supercharge was a referral. We looked at several potential providers, and Supercharge submitted a proposal to us. We completed our due diligence between a few companies and identified Supercharge as the best best provider.

How much have you invested with them?

 We have made a considerable investment in our mobile application and data lake.

Supercharge is very responsive and engaged. The team makes an effort to help us succeed and they take great pride in their work. Our success means they've succeeded. The team excels in meeting their development timelines. Supercharge has a very disciplined development lifecycle approach, and they're excellent at delivering what they promise.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The way Supercharge analyzes our projects is impressive. Some IT shops only focus on the requirements as provided to them. This can lead to misunderstandings and disappointment.

Supercharge has always tried to understand what we look to accomplish. The team helps us ensure that we get there. We'll communicate our requirements and then have working sessions determine our goals. Their team will come back to us quickly with suggestions and will have worked on the copy in the Figma board to show us what we can achieve.

We often think we want something; they help us massage the idea and devise the best approach. Supercharge engages with us and considers themselves participants in what we're trying to accomplish.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of anything. I haven't had any disappointments. Supercharge's team has been an excellent collaborator, and because of that, we haven't experienced any issues. I don't have anything I can go back and complain about or wish we had done differently.

Sign the contract with Supercharge because you won't be disappointed.

Our project aimed to develop a patient journey management software integrated with our local e-health ecosystem. We started to work with Supercharge after our former developer vendor left our project. Supercharge has created many UX design wireframes for us and supported the product designing and development process for many new features and functions. 

They also supported us in managing the user interviews, creating user stories, feature testing and participated in several meetings with our local healthcare ecosystem stakeholders where they provided great support with their IT expertise.

We are very satisfied with Supercharge and I think we had a great and successful collaboration. Their PO was a great help in managing our very complex project and they were also open to having a stronger collaboration, e.g. I could participate in their daily dev standups which was a very effective new way of work for both of us. The colleagues are super-responsive, we could reach out to them anytime and they always were available and ready for action in any ASAP situation. 

They delivered the items on time, and they were always trying to add proactivity in our everyday collaboration and find the best possible solutions for all of our needs. Their willingness to have a deeper understanding and knowledge of the local e-health ecosystem integration was very helpful, and how they managed these complex integration tasks was simply outstanding.

I’m a department head at a people intelligence company. We provide data on influential individuals, typically across two dimensions; either these individuals’ professional history, such as employment or board memberships, or wealth information, such as wealth sources, net worth, and charitable donations. We serve five key use cases. 

On the professional side, we help with business development. For example, a partner at a law firm could use our platform to look up information on a person. In my role, I look after a portfolio of programs.

What challenge were you trying to address with Supercharge?

We hired them for a key UI/UX design project. Our company comprises five brands, all obtained through acquisitions, and our platform has a lot of data and different functionalities. Our UX must be best in class, or users could get lost in capabilities and data volume. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We engaged Supercharge in two phases. The first phase was a months-long discovery process; the team spent time with internal stakeholders and some of our end customers, learning about the different customer types, their needs, and how our platforms served them. Supercharge further investigated and validated our existing user personas. They also worked with us in a two-way conversation about our internal strategies, goals, and key use cases.

We also provided Supercharge with a set of features and requirements that our product team had drafted. Supercharge worked with our product team and our head of UI/UX design to refine the features we needed. We also provided Supercharge with preexisting brand guidelines. 

The second phase was focused on design, where Supercharge took what they had learned during the discovery phase and turned that into a web product’s UI/UX design. The team went through various stages, and the ultimate deliverable was 40 screens and hundreds of wireframes that included designs for multiple stages, including MVP and a fully functional product. Supercharge used Figma for this project.

I predominantly worked with Laura (Account Director) and Emese (Project Manager). Our head of UX design worked closely with Matt (Innovation Consultant) and Erik (Lead Product Strategist) as well as Yan and Andi (designers) from Supercharge.

We did an RFP and decided to hire Supercharge because they had the best proposal for what we were looking to do. 

How much have you invested with them?

We spent £175,000 (approximately $218,000 USD). 

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from October 2022–June 2023.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The project was finished recently, and we’ll get into the process of implementing Supercharge’s design, so we don’t have metrics just yet. Anecdotally, our executive team was very happy with the outcome. We also did some testing with end customers, who gave us great feedback. 

Overall, we were very happy with the Supercharge team; everyone was an important part of the project and contributed to the ultimate deliverable. 

How did Supercharge perform from a project management standpoint?

They did a really good job in project management. The team hit all our key deadlines and was adaptable when we shifted deliverables around and swapped them in and out. For example, we needed a concept for a meeting with our company’s owners, and Supercharge added that into the scope, moving a few things around to meet the request. 

Moreover, the team was great at communicating with weekly check-ins via Microsoft Teams. Supercharge used GanttPRO for project management. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed at how Supercharge took a complex set of requirements from several stakeholders, specific use cases, and a high data volume and distilled it into a clean and fresh UI design. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

The only piece of feedback we gave them was needing them to push back on us and advise us on what best-in-class design work looks like, providing their expertise. Although it took time to get that pushback from Supercharge, by the end of the project, the team challenged us in some areas and changed how we thought about UI/UX design. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I recommend working with Supercharge during the discovery phase. A key aspect of our project’s success was that we took the time to make sure the team fully understood what we were trying to achieve and what our end customers needed. We had some internal pushback ourselves about the duration of the discovery phase, but it more than paid dividends once we got to the design phase — it wasn’t a wasted effort.

I’m the EVP of business development for Olive Diagnostics. We’re a medical device company that uses AI for urinalysis. Every time a patient urinates, we can see the molecules they’re excreting, and we use them to monitor the patient’s health and cure and prevent illnesses. I serve as the right hand of the CEO.

What challenge were you trying to address with Supercharge?

We hired Supercharge to create a demo app for demo, PR, and media purposes. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our goal was to create an Apple Watch app that could make it easier for our customers and partners to monitor their health every time they went to the toilet. It was a demo app, and Supercharge was involved in everything from initial ideation and development of the product all the way to the product’s delivery to the Apple Store. For technologies, we used watchOS and Apple’s technology stack.

For features and functionality, users could connect their Apple Watch to the toilet, which would have a chip to recognize the user. After the person urinated, the apps would show various screens to show the volume of the urine and the user’s liquid intake — this would tell them how well-hydrated they were. There was also a mock feature where the screen would show if the person had drunk alcohol. 

From there, the app would show a general overview of the person’s kidney health based on their hydration level and other data. A page with a QR code would then show up, and the person could scan it to see the results on their phone. That way, they could show others how well-hydrated they were. 

The patients didn’t have to use these features because they were for demo purposes only. Nonetheless, they were used by pre-qualified users. 

What is the team composition?

We worked with six people from Supercharge, including a developer, a salesperson, a UX specialist, and a project manager. 

How did you come to work with Supercharge?

Supercharge was in our building, and I saw some of their work. I liked their outputs, and that was how we started talking. I did look into a couple of other developers, but I ultimately decided to engage Supercharge instead. 

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around €15,000 (approximately $16,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

The project lasted from November 2021–January 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We managed to gain a lot of press coverage. On top of that, we received a beautiful-looking app. It was good to actually have it, and I was truly satisfied with the project’s results. 

Based on the success of this demo, we’re planning to expand the project into actually having something to use in the real world with our partners. We’re in the process of getting funds for that from our customers, and we’re looking into how we can develop the final product with Supercharge. 

How did Supercharge perform from a project management standpoint?

The work was delivered on time and within our budget. Moreover, the project was extremely well-managed. It was a great process, and we had a pleasant coordination with Supercharge. To communicate, we mainly used Slack and in-person meetings, but we also did a few Zoom calls. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I liked their eye for detail, their beautiful designs, and how well those designs worked. If something didn’t work, the team was responsive when correcting things. Overall, they were a great partner to have.

No, there weren’t any.

I’m an executive for a healthcare company; we offer preventative direct-to-consumer blood tests.

What challenge were you trying to address with Supercharge?

We needed a partner to help us build an e-health platform. We wanted to create a reliable, user-friendly product.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Supercharge has provided us with software development support for our e-health platform. During the RFP process, we shared guidelines regarding specifications for the platform. We wanted to include third-party integrations, so we also provided documentation regarding APIs. Once we engaged Supercharge, we described our needs further, and they helped us establish a workflow. 

The team has used our documentation and existing Shopify site to build an e-health platform. They’ve also custom-built a results portal from scratch.

We’ve worked with 10–12 members of their team, including developers, an account manager, and a project manager. Our main point of contact is the general director.

Supercharge has delivered a functional platform that satisfies our needs, and I’m happy with our decision to partner with them. Taking the risk to build this type of platform for the healthcare industry was daunting, but Supercharge has helped us immensely. We’re very satisfied with the result, so we’ve decided to continue our engagement.

How did Supercharge perform from a project management standpoint?

Supercharge is keen on delivering high-quality results. They’re also very flexible and open to helping us. For example, they’ve stepped in to support our third-party partners with integrations when we’ve provided vague documentation. Whenever we face challenges that fall outside their expertise, they engage external partners to help us. 

We’ve had some challenging budget discussions regarding work that falls outside the project scope, but overall, we’re happy with the partnership. The team has been responsive and open to our feedback. We use Jira to manage the project and typically communicate via WhatsApp and Slack. We’ve also met for video calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’ve been impressed with their modern, forward-thinking approach. They’ve maintained an open environment for collaboration, which has enabled them to effectively translate our needs into designs.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Supercharge could improve by specifying their project scope because we’ve had instances where it hasn’t been clear.

What challenge were you trying to address with Supercharge?

We wanted to develop a platform to improve data-driven healthcare for innovation purposes. Our goal was to bring healthcare specialists and data scientists together and facilitate a better understanding of one another.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Before engaging Supercharge, we discussed with a community of healthcare stakeholders and external partners to define our requirements. Through our conversations, we found a lack of understanding between healthcare professionals working with data and data scientists. 

Once we engaged Supercharge, we shared our requirements and provided them with documentation. After discussing the project, we ran workshops to get the team up to speed on our industry and business. They also held workshops for our team to learn about their technical expertise and how it would factor into the project.

The Supercharge team has developed a social platform that decreases the pressure on healthcare resources. We haven’t launched the platform yet, but we’re excited about the opportunity to fill a market gap in how we use healthcare data.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Supercharge has shown a great deal of technical expertise and creativity while building the MVP. We are more than satisfied with the product they’ve delivered. 

Although we haven’t launched the product yet, we’ve received positive feedback from stakeholders. In discussions with the market, we feel there is a need for the product, but we need to overcome some internal compliance issues before moving the project forward.

How did Supercharge perform from a project management standpoint?

We’ve had a very positive experience overall. Supercharge has taken our hand and walked us through the various technical stages of building the MVP. They’ve helped us understand the workflow and provided direction as needed.

Furthermore, the team has delivered features on time and within budget. We’ve met weekly via Microsoft Teams and Google Meet, and they’ve created an open, positive, and collaborative team environment.

We’re impressed with the positive vibe the Supercharge team brings to the table. They’ve worked remarkably quickly, and their flexibility and creativity are second to none.
