I needed ThrillX to design and develop my website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We started the project by discussing my ideas, content, and branding. ThrillX then came back with ideas on how to lay things out. They helped me put my thoughts and ideas into reality. I didn’t know what I was doing when it came to building a website, so it was nice to have someone guide me through the process and do it for me.

The site was laid out to be very informative. Someone can come to my website and understand exactly what my product, brand, and offerings are. Moreover, it has an about page and pages with all my products, pictures of ingredients, and information about what they do. The site also has fully functioning sales funnels to attract people and get them interested in purchasing the product. Users can purchase through various payment methods, including PayPal, credit card, and debit card.

I worked with Arsh and communicated directly with him the whole time. He had a full team working behind the scenes, and we interacted through video calls and email, which made things easy.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

ThrillX built a fully functional Shopify website. The website is live and ready to go, but I haven't launched it yet because I’m waiting for my product to come in. However, I showed the website to my close circle, and everybody was very impressed. Overall, most people were surprised at how good it looks.

How did ThrillX perform from a project management standpoint?

There were no surprises from this end. Everything was very clear-cut, and I was never surprised by the price, which they were very upfront about. If I needed something extra that would cost more money, we discussed it. We communicated through Zoom and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I really enjoyed working with Arsh. He was a great guy, and it was easy to work with him. He made the whole process easy for me to understand. I talked to a couple of other companies, and I didn’t understand what I was getting for the price they were giving me. In contrast, Arsh made everything very clear.

We brought ThrillX on board to help revamp our dashboard, focusing on four main user flows. From the start, they really took the time to understand our vision and what we needed to improve. They guided us through the whole process, from design concepts to final tweaks, making sure everything aligned with both our business goals and what our users actually need.

They also really nailed the balance between functionality and aesthetics, focusing on making the experience easier and more intuitive for our users.

Some of the key deliverables included:

Since the redesign, we’ve seen clear improvements in how users engage with the platform and complete key tasks. The new layout made it easier for people to navigate and get to what they needed, which also led to fewer support questions about navigation. On top of that, we’ve received a lot of positive feedback from users who’ve mentioned how much smoother and more intuitive the experience feels. It’s great to see that the changes really made a difference in how people interact with the platform and overall business impact as well.

I’m the digital marketing manager for Wightman Telecom, a service provider of internet, TV, and mobility in certain areas of rural Ontario.

We needed help with website development. We had an existing website, but it was outdated.

What was the scope of their involvement?

ThrillX built a custom website for us. We broke the project into four phases and paid them after each one. The first phase was the discovery, where they did a lot of market research. They used different apps to watch consumer behavior on our current site and see what confused people. The second phase was thinking about the design, colors, and vibe we wanted to get with our target audience. The next step was developing and coding the site according to what we needed. The last phase was launching the site.

ThrillX built the site from scratch. We supplied some videos, and they provided stock photos and videos for the site. We also gave them our logo. We wanted a fast website since our previous site was lagging, and they worked with us to streamline the customer journey. ThrillX directed us to WP Engine, which powers the site.

What is the team composition?

We worked with 5–6 teammates from ThrillX, including a copywriter, a designer, and a developer. My main contact was the owner, Arsh.

How did you come to work with ThrillX?

I found them online while searching for companies on various review sites. We received five quotes and talked to five different service providers. Arsh put together a proposal for us. I met with him via Google Meet, and he put a lot of effort into the first official pitch compared to the other companies.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in June 2024, and the website was launched in December 2024. We’re currently working with ThrillX to come up with a custom maintenance package but we haven't signed a contract yet.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our SEO extremely improved. We used to be on page two of search results for internet service providers in one of our service areas, and now we’re on page one. The feedback was amazing. Our web traffic and click-through rate increased, too.

There weren’t any bugs, but there were a couple of things during the launch that weren’t ThrillX's fault. We had a lot of internal things for our ordering process, and they had to connect that. We also had a chatbot for our customer service and tech support. They had to call the actual app for the chatbot to get it on the website.

How did ThrillX perform from a project management standpoint?

ThrillX did great and delivered work on time. Every Thursday, we had a team meeting via Google Meet to show me the progress and ask questions. ThrillX exceeded our expectations and was happy to help with any questions.

What did you find most impressive about them?

ThrillX was great at what they did. They took my vision and created a site that exceeded my expectations. They were professional and personable. ThrillX talked to me on the same level instead of using technical language.

No, there aren’t any.

I’d tell you to work with ThrillX because they’ll take care of you. You have to know what you want. I had a vision of what I wanted the site to look like and some functionality. Bringing everything to ThrillX at once was helpful for them so we could get it right the first time.

• Client is responsible for purchasing the Elementor Pro page-builder which costs $99/yr (USD). Client will also be responsible for paying for either the Astra Essential Bundle which costs $169 for the first year  R the Astra ProBundle which costs $59/year depending on whether Client chooses a free theme or premium theme from here. If the client chooses Envato Elements, the pricing is $21 CAD per month.
• Both of these are necessary to run the WordPress template and allow for Client to easily maintain the website in the future.
• Client requires the design and development of 4 key pages.
• All design elements will be limited to the components, sections, and layouts available in the approved template design. Agency can move around sections, duplicate sections, remove sections, and switch out all of the content (images, text, icons,colors, logos, etc).
• The Client is responsible for providing a preliminary content document that outlines all of the rough content that will be located on each page. Only once provided with this information will Agency commence the writing of all of the main headers for the website to avoid delays to the timeline. What challenge were you trying to address with ThrillX?

We needed help with conversion optimization and website redesign.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

ThrillX has helped us with CRO and website redesign. The team has done a deep dive audit of our account, looking at our Google Analytics, Shopify, and Google Search Console data to see which pages get the most traffic and which ones have the most drop-off. ThrillX has quickly moved on to making the first conversion optimization tests on some of those higher-traffic pages, including our collection and product detail pages. We’ve worked our way back up to the homepage and navigation bar, where the conversion optimization has finished.

We've recognized that our site's theme was outdated and not working, so ThrillX has switched the design theme. The team is now starting the SEO services after the web design change. ThrillX has discussed with us our top keywords and identified some of the longer tail terms. ThrillX has used different technologies, including a tool for customer surveys and user testing, to get more information straight from our customers. ThrillX has also used Figpii for page development and has brought on some new apps to work with our Shopify, like Rebuy for our cart extension.

We mainly work with Arsh. We also work with two other teammates: one does a lot of the web development for conversion optimization, and the other works on the SEO.

How did you come to work with ThrillX?

We found ThrillX through a podcast from someone I know on LinkedIn. We interviewed 3–4 different companies, but I connected with Arsh. He brought up things I believed to be true, such as that we didn’t need a whole redesign and needed to focus on increasing our conversion rate.

We signed with ThrillX in February 2024, and the first test went live in March 2024. The engagement is ongoing.

Our conversion rate has increased by 80%.

ThrillX is excellent at delivering work in a timely manner, and its communication is one of the best of the agencies I've worked with. We mainly communicate through Slack and emails. ThrillX sends a monthly email showing us what they’ve worked on and shares a nice presentation through Google Drive.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

Arsh is very quick to respond

What did you find most impressive about them?

ThrillX has gone above and beyond the scope we've signed. The team is very quick to respond and flexible with how we pay them, moving the same budget to different roles. This has been beneficial for us because this year is a little more of a down economic year.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Some of the website changes have hindered our ability to do promotional campaigns. We’re a little too dependent on ThrillX right now to make changes to our site. Part of it is because our web developer is still learning and becoming better at it. We want to ensure that the tests aren't needed when we're doing promotional campaigns. We've encountered issues when we want to do a big promotional campaign.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I recommend ensuring that whoever is leading the project from ThrillX understands the potential impacts of their tests and how to study them better. It would be nice for the team to have a good SEO background because they want to take over many things, like blog content and the SEO Merchant Center. However, our merchant center is vital for our Google shopping, and I didn't want ThrillX to touch our paid ads. We're also doing good with our blog content. I recommend not just handing ThrillX the project and letting them run with it completely without having a little bit of checks and balances.

I'm a marketing associate at Luxury Fire, a luxury home design company that focuses on fire-based products. Our products include fireplaces, fire tables, and grills. I work on tasks related to our e-commerce and web development and design. Our company is located in Connecticut, but we ship nationally because many of our clients are across the country.

We were looking to expand the e-commerce portion of our company. We also wanted to rebrand our company, including our name, website, and visual identity

What was the scope of their involvement?

ThrillX first took a look at our website and made some minor tweaks. We then had a separate phase where ThrillX created an entirely new page on our website dedicated to industry professionals, such as interior designers, builders, and architects. ThrillX was responsible for developing and designing that page, and I collaborated with them on the design, and they developed automated portions and functionalities. 

The page included information and videos, and there were different ways for industry professionals to get in contact with us for a consultation about our services. We provided imagery and filming assets for ThrillX to integrate animations and videos into the page to catch the eye of industry professionals. ThrillX used Figma for design.

I primarily worked with Arsh (Founder & CEO) and Paula (UI/UX Designer). I worked with Arsh on coordination, ideas, and design, and Paula worked more on tangible developments.

Someone who works above me in my company found ThrillX on LinkedIn. He was searching for UI/UX design and web development companies. RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We received very positive feedback from clients on the professional page ThrillX designed. We've used that direct link to attract more clients to our portfolio, specifically ones that might not be in the New England region. In that sense, ThrillX helped us expand our geography. The page also gave us more credibility among the higher-end clientele we were trying to target. 

I imagine we'll work with ThrillX again in the future as our primary web design and development company because we've built a solid relationship with them.

How did ThrillX perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicated with ThrillX via email and Google Meet calls if needed. The team's email responses were great, and our virtual calls were always scheduled and upheld in a timely manner. We exchanged as many as 30 emails a day, and ThrillX didn't have an issue with that. The team didn't charge extra or add work hours. We collaborated with ThrillX through Figma, where we shared ideas, comments, and photos. 

As for the budget, we had many changes throughout the process. We didn't agree to a strict budget or cost estimate, and ThrillX was pretty flexible with what we wanted to add to the website. If we wanted more animations on the site, the cost would go up and vary throughout the project. ThrillX was very communicative about the cost, and we never encountered any gray area.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What really distinguished ThrillX was their willingness to receive feedback. We also liked the team didn't have a standard template. Other competitors we've worked with had a standard process and template of how things should look, and the process was very structured. On the other hand, ThrillX's process was very flowing, which allowed us to feel more creative and collaborative working with them. 

ThrillX was always receptive and provided positive feedback. Although we had worked with other companies previously, ThrillX was more focused on building a relationship.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It was easier for me to come up with ideas for this project because I worked in a creative space. I imagine some of their clients who aren't in a creative field might need a more structured process, or it’s up to the client to figure out what they’re looking for. Providing more standard templates or procedures for those clients could be helpful in the early stages. However, we liked how open the team was; I imagine it could be different for some clients.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I overcommunicated a lot, and ThrillX was really receptive to that. I suggest communicating frequently with the team because you can benefit from them. ThrillX was willing to go beyond their scope of work to get extra things done. Paula and Arsh are passionate about what they do and find joy in their work. They were flexible and understanding of the creative process.
