Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the director of business development at Amshot. We provide comprehensive IT consulting and management services, including virtual CIO, IT security, network administration, procurement, training, and user support to help organizations align technology with their business goals.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Why HR?

We needed to build a solid culture and relationships among the leadership team and operational staff. We also wanted to reduce employee turnover.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Why HR has guided us through personality profile reviews in leadership to help us understand each other better and work better together. They’ve also helped us migrate to a better HR and benefits platform. Why HR has conducted culture survey reviews and helped us reduce turnover in staff and ensure offboarding is handled appropriately and compliantly.In terms of deliverables, Why HR has provided reports and reviews of them. They’ve also provided full personality training sessions. Why HR has created an RFP for an HR benefits platform and reviewed it with the team to guide the selection. They’ve worked with the platform provider on implementing it. Why HR has also implemented better culture surveys and PIP plans.

We found them through a referral. We chose them over other HR service providers because they were a great culture fit.

We started working with them in December 2025, and the engagement ended in March 2026.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve seen improved metrics around leadership priorities' success, improved culture survey feedback, and reduced turnover metrics.

How did Why HR perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate via in-person meetings, virtual meetings, and email or messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Why HR has true HR expertise; they’re not just another PEO. They understand the importance of culture building. They’re not a platform reseller but a true consultant to vet platforms in the market.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t any.
