The project delivered clear, quantifiable results that demonstrated success across key performance areas:

Increased Membership Conversions: We saw a significant lift in unlimited wash membership sign-ups, driven by high-performing ad creatives and optimized landing pages. Certain campaigns achieved conversion rates well above industry benchmarks.

Higher Car Counts at Key Locations: Locations running targeted campaigns experienced noticeable increases in daily car counts, especially at new and underperforming sites.

Improved Ad Performance Metrics: We observed consistent growth in click-through rates, reduced cost-per-click, and strong return on ad spend, reflecting campaign efficiency and improved targeting.

Hiring Megethos to our marketing team has been a key strengthening in building leads, cutting wasted ad spend and optimizing lead quality, providing more closed case volume and decreasing overall costs. The team at Megethos has been highly proficient in running campaigns in multiple states using high intent targeted keywords based on our different practicing areas. They have assisted our firm in cleaning up our attribution methods, minimizing the action of double tracking conversions in our systems. Since Megethos has been working with our firm since June of 2023, their Google Ads campaign has generated over 5,000 leads and generated 20% more converted cases at a 40% lower cost per case. While running campaigns on Google Ads with dynamic landing pages, they have also tested out new campaigns to further extend our possible reach to more audience members. We highly appreciate the collaboration and effort their team has spent with our firm. Google Ads campaigns generated 699 closed cases for which generated $22,136,090 in total revenue. That is an ROI of 1,509%.

Megethos was able to continue to improve performance generating 51% more leads at only a 13% higher cost per lead.

Megethos Digital served our portfolio of around 8 PPC clients by running their ad campaigns each month and joining us on client calls to provide closed-loop reporting. They managed the ad accounts for our clients to ensure that ads and budgets were being regularly optimized and maximized for the client's results.

Typically, we had a meeting with our clients once every two weeks or once a month. During this time, we'd have a specialist from Megethos join our account strategist to report on the results that were experienced during the period so far — as well as make any recommendations for what could be done to pivot and improve.

We saw a great ROI with our clients in working together with Megethos. At the time, we didn't have great in-house capabilities for paid ads/PPC so Megethos was excellent at providing us with a robust strategy for our clients and setting things up for success. We would receive emailed reports from Google AdWords or Agency Analytics, depending on the client needs, be able to schedule calls with our Megethos teammate, and have quarterly reporting to evaluate progress ongoing.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Client retention for paid search service increased as a result of working with Megethos. Previously, we hadn't been able to keep clients interested in paid ads as a channel, due to our inability at the time to provide great strategic insight and ROI on the channel.

Nearly every client that we worked with Megethos on experienced a positive ROI in the paid search services and their ad budget. This also improved our ability to retain our clients in our SEO services, improving monthly cash flow and scalability. Clients who were seeing results slowly in SEO felt better due to having their sales pipeline bolstered by paid ads.

Megethos was always on-time with their deliverables. We shared a Slack channel together where we could ping them and get what we needed. We almost always heard back on the same business day, and usually within 3-4 hours. If there was a high-priority matter, we DID have their phone number and were able to get on the line ASAP if needed. This was seldom necessary.

They always showed up to client meetings and were prepared. We had a very high level of trust in the work they were doing, so there were RARELY any moments with the client where we seemed under-prepared. Megethos was also good at pushing US to be timely with the deliverables that we needed to supply, which included ad creative/copy, etc.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I think that Megethos is a unique example of a small to mid-size team that can work extremely efficiently and scale up. They also have an obvious expertise in what they do for paid advertising. We know intimately that they do not hire people unless they have real PPC/paid ad experience. We were also always impressed with their level of professionalism and how friendly/relatable they were to our clients.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Megethos could have done differently?

At the time, Megethos was a smaller team — so I think that there were a couple of isolated times that they felt the pain of having a few too many plates spinning. However, this was years ago, and I've remained in contact together with the company and it seems that they've grown significantly while still preserving the attributes that made them valuable as a smaller team.

I think that Megethos is always eager to learn more about how they can improve their craft and upskill — but they do an excellent job in all things paid advertising, and deliver their service with a friendly trustworthiness that make them very unique.

A paid social media campaign that we ran with Megethos early on in the year was highly successful. Our overall social media traffic increased significantly and we saw an overall lift in website traffic during that time. Additionally, we were able to generate a decent amount of leads at a lower cost per lead than our standard forms of advertising.

Coree was an incredible project manager. We received an email recap at the end of every meeting, outlining deliverables and action items. They followed through with their action items in a timely manner, and were, for the most part, responsive if additional requests or issues arose.

I’m the executive director of marketing at Beacon Specialized Living Services. We provide various services for people with mental and developmental disabilities, including crisis respite care programs and specialized care for adults and children.

Our marketing department started out small. We recognized the need for a professional agency to make sure we were doing the right things to set ourselves up for success as we continued to scale up the business.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, we had a couple of discovery calls to determine our needs. After that, Megethos helped me develop a plan scaled to our budget. 

Since then, they’ve helped us ensure our Google Analytics platform works correctly and efficiently. They’ve migrated us from Google Analytics Universal to Google Analytics 4, which is mandatory in 2023. Moreover, the team has optimized our keywords, bidding strategy, and Microsoft and Bing strategy, aiming to get our branding out there and on social media via Facebook and Instagram. 

On top of that, their members have audited our website’s UX to find improvements for our users. After every quarter, we reevaluate our goals and where we want to go to continue spreading our branding. They continue creating ads and managing our digital marketing strategies.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’ve effectively doubled the number of user sessions on our company website since partnering with Megethos. Aside from that, we’ve introduced our marketing to new platforms. We’re now on Google, Facebook, Instagram, and Bing — we’ve seen exponential growth. 

Our company continues to see more and more conversions every month using Bing even with a limited budget. Overall, Megethos has driven our cost per lead down while getting more conversions — the cost is going down, but the number of conversions is going up. 

How did Megethos perform from a project management standpoint?

Megethos’ members are friendly and provide timely services. They’re always transparent about what they’re working on; they create strategies in-house and convey them to me. We have biweekly meetings to ensure we’re on track and continue to advance to our goals. Moreover, their resources are communicative. 

In terms of tools, we use Google Spreadsheets, Analytics, and Data Studio to present and discuss results. We also use Google Ads, Bing Ads, and Facebook Insights. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their responsiveness is impressive. They always get back to me within 12–18 hours, and we’re typically either on schedule or ahead of schedule in our campaigns. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

They need to improve their expertise on Facebook and Instagram. For context, we’ve run into some issues. Our team at Beacon manages over a dozen social handles, some of which are legacy pages. Megethos has helped me consolidate all of our social assets under one business account umbrella. Their technical expertise in that regard has been lacking. 

Nonetheless, I’m still satisfied with their strategic vision for what we want to accomplish.

Megethos was hired a couple of years ago, to drive highly qualified lead volume with a paid media strategy and campaigns for us across the platforms of Google, Bing, LinkedIn and Capterra.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We viewed a number of candidates and they made the best presentation and most through report about what they could do for us and the type of ROI we would get.

Their strategy was to launch one top of the funnel platform (LinkedIn) where they educate their audience by promoting downloadable ebooks. The goal of promoting these ebooks is to reach qualified prospecting and retargeting audiences in hopes they come back and convert through their more bottom of funnel channels.

They integrate these leads with HubSpot to make sure they are followed up appropriately by the Lucidea sales team. On Google & Bing, they target high intent keywords around Lucidea’s services including:

• Archives collections
• Integrated Library
• Museum Collections
• Knowledge Management solutions

These ads land on custom built landing pages and custom forms that are highly relevant to their keyword targeting to increase conversion rate through audience relevance. On Google, they run Brand and Competitor campaigns. Brand campaigns target Lucidea keywords, capitalizing on a high intent audience that is already familiar with Lucidea through different channels or platforms. Brand campaigns also help prevent competitors conquesting on their keywords by driving up their CPC’s.

Capterra is a specific software selection ad platform and therefore one of their higher intent channels for their paid ads. On Capterra, they target users with service category listings/reviews, who are specifically looking for software solutions and therefore get the very bottom of funnel leads from this platform. To reach their goals, Megethos continuously performs search term mining, keyword bid adjustments, creates new campaigns, updates ad copy, and creates weekly status reports.

In terms of budget allocation, their strategy is to allocate a significant amount of the budget towards higher intent platforms (Google, Bing & Capterra) in hopes those have a better chance of turning into qualified opportunities and eventually closed deals for Lucidea. Meanwhile, they are building Lucidea’s brand awareness and retargeting pool through efforts on LinkedIn.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Year to date in 2022 (as of Dec. 13th) the campaigns generated 793 leads for Lucidea, well below their pre-planned goals. In comparison to 2021, lead volume increased by 23% and cost per conversion decreased by 32%.

Very effective. We weekly received update reports and meet once a month to go over performance, ROI and new campaign strategies.

They serve all our pay per click campaign management needs and make a significate contribution to our overall lead generation strategy.

I’m an executive at a company that matches body donors to medical research educators all over the world.

What challenge were you trying to address with Megethos?

We work in a death-related industry and have an active donor registry, so we work with people before and after passing. Therefore, we work with senior communities and their next of kin who are in a younger age group. We have eight local markets that we operate in, and we take donors in 35 additional states outside of that. 

The challenge was finding a partner with the expertise to get into those geo-specific levels of our lead generation and donor rates to ensure we were hitting our goals. Many providers only track how many leads we get and the cost per lead (CPL); we wanted someone to look more at the active donor rate.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Megethos provides us with PPC and SEO services. First, we gave them information about what our business does, where we were at, and our goals. They run our paid advertising campaigns on Google and Bing, focusing on getting a lower cost per acquisition (CPA) of active donors in our local registry prior to passing. We provide the art for the ads, and they create everything else. We continuously brainstorm about the different campaigns. 

Additionally, Megethos partners with the provider who handles our website updates, and they work together on SEO, content optimization, and recommendations for increasing our website traffic and conversions. We collaborate on keyword research. 

What is the team composition?

Adam (Manager & Paid Media Services) is our main point of contact and handles a lot of the strategy. Janessa (Project Manager) does meeting preparation and follow-ups. Andrew (VP of Operations) and Megethos’ owner also work with us in the background. 

How did you come to work with Megethos?

I partnered with another service provider to build our website, and they referred us to Megethos. We went through a transition during the COVID-19 pandemic, where we ended up laying off our marketing team at the time. When we were recovering from that, we got the referral for Megethos. Since hiring for marketing can be difficult because there are many levels of expertise and tools, and we had struggled to find someone with expertise in paid advertising, finding Megethos was convenient for us.

We’ve spent over $100,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

This project started around April 2022, and the engagement is ongoing. Initially, we worked with them from March–September 2021, but then we hired an in-house resource. After we terminated that contract, we re-engaged Megethos, and we’ve been with them ever since.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

When we started working together, our CPL was about $100, and Megethos has helped bring that down to $65–$70. By balancing between Google and Bing and figuring out which market works best, they've also helped reduce our per active donor by 25%. Their work is continuously helping us get a better understanding of our market. 

As for the Megethos team, they hit the ground running. I can be hands-off because I trust that they get things done and make things easy, enabling me to check the numbers every other week. They go above and beyond and help us with things outside the project's scope. Moreover, they jumped right back in to do their analysis when we rehired them. While another provider might take offense that we ended our previous engagement, I appreciate that Megethos didn't react that way. 

How did Megethos perform from a project management standpoint?

I admire the way they stay ahead of things; they come to the meetings prepared, always review the data ahead of time, and provide meeting notes right after. They also offer us agendas the day before a meeting and weekly updates. 

They've built out a dashboard with auto-updates that I can access through Google Drive to see our ad spend by location and platform. We communicate via email and Zoom. If I send them a question between meetings, they're on it immediately. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Megethos biggest strength is their subject matter expertise that doesn't just focus on ad spend. They can create strategies to move our budget around in different areas, such as optimization, TV ads, or over the top marketing. The team has a broad knowledge of things we can test that I wouldn't otherwise be able to come up with. 

We appreciate having someone bedding the scenes who knows much more about marketing and optimization than we do. Our team could only be a jack of all trades up to a certain point; we needed someone to help us get better, and Megethos gets things done for us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't have constructive feedback; Adam is awesome and on top of everything. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Communicate with them upfront about what you're looking for. At first, I was waiting for Megethos to give me the golden answer, which nobody has. Therefore, communicating what you need and your KPIs will get you further ahead quicker. Every market is a bit different, so the more information you can provide them, the better. If you can give the team age and demographic data, they can have a better strategy, drive down your costs, and improve your lead quality.

I am the Marketing Director of an Air Ambulance provider. We perform long-range patient transports in Learjet aircraft outfitted as an airborne ICU to domestic and international locations. We also provide repatriation worldwide on commercial airlines.

For what projects/services did your company hire Megethos, and what were your goals?

We hired Megethos to take over our Google PPC. Our goals were to increase leads at a lower cost per conversion. We wanted to become more efficient and outsource the service to do so.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

They reached out to us as they had experience doing PPC for a competitor, who they no longer were able to work with. We decided to use them because of that background knowledge and credibiltiy.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and campaigns.

The first looked at our current campaigns at the time and provided us with an audit and plans to improve. They then took over the PPC campaigns as well as improved tracking and landing page experiences. After the new campaigns were running smoothly they recommended expansions such as Bing.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I work with 2-3 people. A project manager and analytics team member. Occasionally a director will be involved.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have improved our cost per conversion by 100% consistently exceeding our goals. We've increase user experience via the landing pages. They have improved tracking to identify leads more effectively. And we've more than doubled our revenue from our PPC leads. They provide weekly status as well as monthly calls to review campaigns and performance. A dashboard is provided for me to check in at any time, and they've accommodated platforms we're working with.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Their communication is very predictable and reliable. I get communication every week about the campaign and what they are doing and working on. Then every month we review it all together. Their style is laid back but effective. They're always responding to emails day of.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They're a start-up with qualified and smart people to do the job. They were unique to us because of their previous experience with the company in our industry. Not many people understand what our business is so that was a plus in terms of starting the campaigns quickly and efficiently right out of the gate.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I come to them with a lot of test information from Google, I wish they would be more proactive about informing me of Google/Bing updates before I hear the news myself.
