The project involved creating a native app from scratch to ensure top performance and allow for future upgrades. They included calculators that help users determine concrete needs and perform structural calculations, integrating seamlessly with our software. The app also has an admin back-end for monitoring and managing user sign-ups, letting us reach out to users by state, postcode, and more.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We launched the app a couple of months ago and are now promoting it through our builder network, along with new packaging, brochures, and manuals that encourage users to scan our QR code for easy access.

When customers call for support, we recommend they download the app for self-help, and this approach has already proven to be very successful. We’ve received positive feedback from customers who appreciate the effort we put into the app and find it incredibly helpful. We expect that once the app is fully launched and more users adopt it, we could reduce our support calls and service time by over 50%.

They provided us with various resources via the SLACK application, allowing us to connect with the right person for each aspect of the project as needed. I was impressed by many aspects of the company rather than just one standout feature.

Are there any areas for improvement or something ELEK+RIK could have done differently?

There might have been a couple of instances where we had picked up a small thing that may have been missed and had to go back to them to include but  was typically a very small thing and always dealt with quickly but this is why they have the right processes and technology in place which is to check the prototypes before having to spend time on full development.

The application was integrated with various translation APIs and ensure the integrity and layout of the original documents are maintained.

Key deliverables include the development of a robust document scanning module that allows us to scan official documents using a high-resolution scanner or a mobile device camera. This module supports multiple file formats such as PDF, JPEG, and PNG. The translation module integrates with APIs from reputable translation services to provide accurate translations into 16 different languages, ensuring linguistic accuracy and cultural appropriateness. 
The application will maintain the original format and layout of the documents, including fonts, images, and structural elements, after translation.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The measurable outcomes from the project include achieving over 95% accuracy in translations based on user feedback and comparisons with human translations. A high user adoption rate within a specified period after the launch indicates that the app meets user needs our and expectations. 
Significant reduction in translation time compared to manual processes demonstrates the app's efficiency. Maintaining the original format in over 95% of translated documents shows the app's capability to preserve document integrity.  A low error rate, and successful translation in all 16 target languages demonstrates the app's comprehensive language coverage and capability.
