• Used sarcastically by anti-Zionists, imitating the common Hebrew pronunciation of חַמַאס, where the initial Chet (ח) is pronounced as a voiceless uvular fricative /ꭓ/, which it is sometimes realized as a trill /ʀ̥/ or a fricative trill /ʀ̝̊/. It refers to accusing people of supporting Hamas for any association with Palestine, even if said subject condemns Hamas.
