語源

From Arabic ثَرْب‎ (ṯarb) in the eleventh century in medical translations and possibly even vernacular or used in medical practice earlier in Roman Africa since its conquest by Arabs. An alleged occurrence in Apicius is a bad correction of a 16^th-century philologer where one better reads gīrō.
