語源

From Latin comedō (“glutton”). Applied to blackheads on account of the popular belief that they were parasitic worms that consumed the host’s nutrients, especially in children, thereby causing weight loss and illness. Compare Danish hudorm (“comedo”, literally “skin-worm”).
