The Tokyo Stock Exchange obliges companies listed on Mothers to hold more than two explanatory meetings per year three years after listing. In April 2004, JASDAQ also introduced a system that requires all its listed companies to have two IR meetings a year (four meetings per year for companies listed on the NEO, established in 2007), and, along with the system, it set up a special unit to provide the companies with necessary services.
