     These are my principal arguments against Mr. Onions' theory, and in the light of his discovery it is apparent that, probably, there is no such thing as the purloining of eggs by eggless and larvaless colonies, and that, in the bees of other countries, occasionally - perhaps frequently - fertile-worker bees also become impregnated and therefore enabled to raise queens for the propagation of the species.
