The Flight Control Platform is an optional island that you can visit in the Great Sea. Although you can journey to the island for treasures and collectibles, it is not required to progress the main story.

Bird-Man Contest Prize
Location: Flight Control Platform - G2 Enter the Bird-Man Contest, which costs 10 rupees per attempt. Beat the current flight record by hitting at least two different vortices. You must try to keep your flight path as straight as possible to be able to obtain the Piece of Heart. |

Flight Control Platform Points of Interest
Bird-Man Contest
You can enter the Bird-Man Contest at the Flight Control Platform. To win the minigame, you need to glide as far as possible using the Deku Leaf.
If you could beat the previous record, marked by a banner, you will win a Heart Piece.
Submarine
A submarine can be found within the G2 quadrant. Enter and defeat the Wizzrobes, ChuChus, and Miniblins inside. Afterwards, climb up the ladder and open the treasure chest to obtain the Platform Chart.
