fun time!

I beat levels 1 through 9. That's a really fun mechanic!

Hello!

I appreciate your interest in my game. Hobby BASIC seems pretty cool. It's impressive you've been working on it for so long!

However, I am very curious why you didn't ask for my permission to do this. I am okay with you doing this if you give me credit, but I want to say it comes off badly that you didn't ask me in advance whether I am okay with you taking the design of my game for your project. I don't think you have bad intentions, but it does come across that way.

To make it clear, I'm okay with you using this as an example if you give me credit by saying that I designed it (under the name "beekie") and by linking to this page. If you cannot link to this page for whatever reason, you can cite the designer as "beekie.itch.io". Otherwise, do not copy my game.

If you would like to copy the designs of any of my other games, or the games of any other designers, please ask first.

Thank you for understanding.

Wow haha. That was nuts. Really fun!

that was wonderful

>:)

That was my goal :)

(I really appreciate you noticing that!)

ah, that makes sense! thanks!

...you know, I don't actually know what up and down votes do. do they help rank comments perhaps?

Thanks! I appreciate you being kind in the comments, despite this being a negative space

got it! really really fun. this makes me want to try LittleJS again!

really enjoyed this!

really enjoyed this! thank you

This is wonderful

oh sure gimme a minute and I'll set that up

not sure how to phrase all of my feelings so I'll just say: thank you for making this

I seem to be softlocked outside the bank with the money, but unable to interact with the car...

love the aesthetic though! I hope I can keep playing at some point

[edit: ah the completion condition was intuitive, managed to get to the end]

really fun!

got the gold trophy! truly lovely

stopping for now on the first level with spikes, but really enjoyed what I played! your description of the game as simultaneously calming and rage inducing felt very true to me, heh.

the level before the introduction of spikes was so difficult and quite satisfying to finally complete. it was interesting to be able to get a sense of what a very good player might be able to do with the controls of the fish (eel? snake?), and to feel so far away from that level of control.

but yeah! really enjoyed this. thank you!

heh, haven't looked at this game in a while. I can give a bigger hint if this isn't enough, but consider what would happen if you managed to duplicate a player block that didn't have an x on it

Oooh this is fantastic! Managed to get all of the gems. Thanks for making this!

Very fun!

Dang these are great!

Solved! I'm very curious what the mathematical construction is that you derived this from. I thought you might be referring to the seven color theorem for tori, but that didn't seem to help me find the solution.

Thanks for making this!

Cool puzzle!

oh cbAIcely is trying to promote AI??? how suspicious

I'm not sure what you mean by that.

If you're asking if I used AI, I did not!

no, though a Langton’s Ant game might be fun…

Ah okay good to hear! I hope development continues well :)

hi! I hope you don’t mind me asking… are you still working on this game? I remember it being really fun and interesting!

Please stop posting extremely classified military intel on the comments of my games.

time for a SECOND [E/AD]DITION?!?

Hi! Before I give a hint, I want to confirm you’ve seen the hints in the description, including the link that says “click this link.”

I will also add that there is only one level/puzzle.

With that out of the way, what are your thoughts so far? Do you know what the title refers to? How might you do what the title refers to with the information given in the puzzle?

thank you! I really appreciate this :)

ooh interesting... that isn't right, so I'm curious what your reasoning was...

(I can give a hint, but I'll need to know what you're currently thinking)

This is a really cool game! I’m reminded of discussions I’ve seen about magic systems in novels, where there’s a seeming dichotomy between rigorous magic systems and softer magic that instills  a sense of mystery and wonder. Your game manages to do both with its mechanics, somehow, which is really fascinating.

This puzzle has a very mean trick, so you’ll need to think outside the box. Let me know if you want a bigger hint!

It isn’t allowed in this game, but that’s a clever idea!
