Howdy! While I appreciate the enthusiasm for the Trailmarkers system, there are no plans for it to be more extensive than it currently is (except for adding a "Killigan's personality" question soon, that's been a common request).

Your first point would require an EXTREME amount of extra effort to dig through the script for every single choice in the game, implement them into the Trailmarkers questionnaire-style system, deliberate upon certain edge cases or outcomes, and then probably miss at least a few if it were ever implemented.

Your second point is less extreme, but still goes against what the Trailmarkers system is intended to be.

If you lost your saves or had to switch devices since you last played, but want to catch back up fast without much fuss, that's what this system is intended for! It loads you into a pre-determined spot with a default setup for Killigan, with all story-necessary items obtained, and (optionally) puts you on the romance route for whichever partner you want to romance! It's also pretty handy if you want to check how a scene would've played out if you were romancing someone else, or just want to see what Killigan gets up to as a single man.

Long story short, the Trailmarkers system is more akin to a chapter select for KT than something like a built-in cheat engine. There are no plans to extend the functionality of the Trailmarkers system, because this already IS the quick catch-up system.

(I also recommend playing on a computer if you want to preserve saves, builds for mobile have been notoriously unreliable with retaining saves, especially after a new version releases)

If you want to (and can keep questions non-memey) that's fine, but I can't guarantee I'll be able to answer everything timely!

No, it is not.

I think we're about done here if further questions are devolving to ones like that.

1. Just a tutorial

2. Can't answer this, sorry!

Secret outfits (like the one you can obtain in Spiceport) will only give some unique flavor text or sometimes access to unique scenes, but never anything as drastic as locking entire characters off from being met.

All good, I just hadn't seen the post. Answered what I could!

1. Can't answer this, sorry!

2. Can't answer this, sorry!

3. Probably!

4. Killigan'sfavorite meal is probably something close to a roasted veggie casserole, with plenty of greens but also proteins. There's not a list of everyone else's favorite meals, but you're welcome to try and theorize what they might be!

A lot of your questions are ones I can't really give definite answers to, because they'd spoil parts of the game that haven't happened yet. It may be worth theorizing with other players as to what things might mean or imply, when there's no clear answer that can be given yet!

Oh, it's just a snippet from one of the assets for the Athlima Summit lol

It'd say "Champion Rounds," but this is still not currently translatable text

At this time, there's no set alphabet for the in-world languages in this game. Maybe later on that'll be revamped, but for now, it's treated as seeing the world through Killigan's lens: He understands New Bovolian very well as his native language (equatable to our English), while Skrilzian (writing in the style of the image below) looks incomprehensible to him. Both phonetically sound the same, but are written differently.

Okay yeah, this is intended and working properly. But I'll add in some clear signaling that Wits are supposed to be decreasing for these days.

Was able to find the specific hub that has this present, will take out the "Share a meal" option in the next version, since it seems obsolete. It shouldn't have shown up at all however, since there's code immediately before this hub for disabled options to not be shown...

Seems to be working fine on my end, can you be more specific about how the rations aren't working?

It's intended for Killigan to be consuming 1 ration, drinking some of his canteen water, and getting bad sleep (since he has no bedroll) per day after the Redroot Wilds inn until he reaches Aris.

I'm not able to replicate this error on my end, tried both from the Trailmarker and from the beginning. Maybe try reinstalling the game?

Are you on the latest version, v.0.56a? If so, can you show which CGs aren't unlocking?

The concept's always been for companions to join Killigan on his journey, so unfortunately, I don't really have a concrete answer for your latter questions! It'd be a much lonelier adventure, for sure. And much less fun or entertaining to write about.

Thanks for the feedback! This game is a VN/RPG hybrid, so while there are elements from both, there won't really ever be a "game over" screen. If Killigan happens to run out of health, or completely fail at every possible opportunity, the situation will still be "solved" in some way that makes sense for the context. I'd rather have players progress the story than try a specific fight over and over just to see what happens next. If you want an altered outcome (or better stat gains...), there's still the option to try that fight over and over, but it won't block story progress.

And as for your crossed-out question: no! I usually make it pretty clear when watersports-like scenes are about to happen, with a choice to go through a different path or two instead.

Just pushed a new build v.0.56a that should have fixes for the stuff y'all reported in this thread, please let me know if you find any more!

...Uh, that's a fun thought experiment! But extremely unlikely it'll be considered for the game in the near future, since, y'know, it'd be rewriting the whole story.

Thanks for reporting these bugs y'all, working on getting 'em fixed as soon as possible!

All good, thanks for helping us find this bug!

We managed to figure out was caused this and did some backend fixing up, it seems like it was mainly caused by having broken armor when reaching a stopping point on one playthrough, then starting a new playthrough without closing the game prior. Fix should be implemented in the next version!

I'm not able to replicate this, all available armor when starting from that trailmarker seemed to not need repairs. Can you give more details about the steps you took to end up in this state? Maybe where in the story you stopped before starting from this trailmarker?

(Also for future reference, please use the pinned Bugs/Typos thread for reporting any bugs like this.)

Hey y'all!

This thread is for general discussion of content from the latest public build, v.0.56!

Be warned, spoilers can run rampant here!

Post any bugs or typos you've found from v.0.56 here!

Please try to be as informative and detailed as possible with your report so we can tell exactly where you're encountering an issue!

Thanks! And the judges hosted a stream for the awards about a week ago:

Glad you enjoyed! And thanks for the feedback, we'll see what we can do regarding those buttons! 🔧

This is technically correct grammar, but I'll adjust it since the wording's kinda weird.

It's published on the Minoh Workshop account, same one that publishes Minotaur Hotel. Sex Drive itself can be found here!

Yep! Sex Drive just released v.0.2, so devlopment will resume on KT this month!

Not yet...!

No. It's taken a backseat for a bit while I finish assets for the other project I'm working on, Sex Drive. KT updates will resume afterward, I have no intention of abandoning this game. Please be patient.

Fixed now, in v.0.52a!

Thanks! And nope, this is the only path forward

Hey y'all!

Figured out what caused this: trying to adjust an old command that could have been causing problems, but ended up being another thing entirely. Should be fixed now in v.0.51b!
