We'll have a wiki for most of the cutscene variants yeah, and regarding endings I'm gonna run an idea by the rest of the team soon here too. And yeah, updating is easy on Steam for sure.

You won't need to complete the game 20+ times from the beginning to get all the endings; when all content is in, you can use multiple save slots and only pick Ideals from bosses if your goal is to get all the endings, so you'd only have to play from the final boss onwards.
That said, the game isn't designed to expect people to get all 21 endings, as we don't expect people to fully complete all content and it's more about how each person's individual runs play out (and because with 4500+ cutscene variants, true full completion would probably take 500+ hours even if you knew where all the really secret stuff was).
Hopefully though the savescumming trick will make things a lot easier on you :) and glad you've been enjoying the game! Definitely check it out again once the megapatch is in, too, should make things a lot easier.
For all Faux endings, none of them are sexual; for the True Endings, sexuality plays into the dialogue of a good chunk of the endings, but there's nothing sexually depicted visually in the True Endings.
For the "VieIsWithYou" thing, it changes how cutscenes react in the last level (and there's different secret events that happen both with and without this activated); this isn't something you need to do through changing the code though, it happens normally in-game if you've got all the Fragments and Gold Databanks before completing the fourth level.
Glad to hear you're enjoying the game! :)
It would largely depend on what ones you've found, but anything in the Blue (defense) or Green (utility) powerups can be helpful; damage isn't as much of a priority if you're losing repeatedly. The Kendo Helmet, Rugby Helmet, Mind Reading Chip, and Sneakers in particular might be good for that fight. You can also turn the "auto-charge" feature on in the options.
I wouldn't take any exact release dates for the game as a guarantee (outside of it absolutely being finished in 2026 since we are extremely close to being done), simply because we can't predict the future, and we'd rather make sure the game is good than meet a release date with a sub-par version of the game, a mistake we've already made once and we don't intend to do again.
We are working on it every day though, and hopefully the wait'll be worth it.
Yeah, we've talked about it on Steam/Discord, I'll copy the Steam post over here for an itch devlog update, but we're aiming for sometime in the next few months basically due to holidays causing delays, and wanting to make sure everything's working correctly because there's a *lot* of stuff getting added.
Yes, you would need all the Fragments ans Gold Databanks; if you had all of those ans finished it and it still didn't unlock an ending and Vie's Hideout for you, then that would be a bug.
Currently though, animations in general in the gallery are unlocked by getting 5 achievements in a level, per level.
While we weren't too into it either, we ran a few polls and overwhelmingly people voted for this, as well as it being mentioned in numerous reviews. At the very least, there are some gallery unlocks still linked to the achievements, and we'll likely come up with something extra for the 10 achievements per level/50 achievements total down the line.
No worries, I love helping with troubleshooting!
As far as the cutscene to change Ideals, what I meant was that if you talked to other NPCs before going back to the boss, you could likely change whatever your highest Ideal was, but in this case it wouldn't have helped as it does look like it was the bug I was mentioning before, etc.
What version of the game are you on? This should be fixed as of v1.0.7, I remember someone mentioning this bug in a previous version.
If you're still getting this in v1.0.7, can you message me on Discord with your save file or take a screencap of the last two dialogue boxes before this locks up for you, so I can investigate what path is causing this freeze?
An easy way to skip this though would be to do a cutscene to change your Ideals, but outside of that, there shouldn't be a way with a hex editor etc. to skip it.
Thanks for the well wishes, too :)
