After seeing a Readbox on Pinterest, I decided to make my own. I used an old podium I found in storage at school, and took the slanted book-rest off. Then I cut the slanted sides and reattached the book-rest as the Readbox sign. Next we painted it red and made letters on the Cricut. I labeled the books with a star sticker and stamped them "book swap". The little white sign just says read - share - return, and asks for donations of books.

Last weekend, I was at the local farm store and found the cutest little metal post box and matching recipe card holder. It was on clearance so I decided to pick it up for the library. I thought it would be such a fun new addition to our library for students and teachers to put their book recommendations and book wish lists. Here is how I turned this into our Library Post Box!
