The present invention relates: to a novel transition metal complex having a C-N ligand, which can be used for various devices including an electrochemical sensor; to a device comprising same; and, preferably, to an electrochemical sensor.
Claims (1)

A transition metal complex useful as electron transport media having the following chemical structural formula: 5 [Chemical Formula 1] [M(C-N) (N-N) ] dX a 3-a wherein, M is Os; a is an integer of 1; m is a negative or positive charge representing -1 to -5 or 1 to 5; 10 d is an integer from 0 to 2; X is a counter ion; C-N is one selected from a group consisting of , , and ; and N-N is one selected from a group consisting of 15 , , , , , , and 21217562_1 (GHMatters) P119305.NZ ?Claim 2 ? The transition metal complex of claim 1, wherein the counter ion is selected from the group consisting of F, Cl, Br, I and PF . ?Claim 3 ? 5 A compound useful as electron transport media selected from the group consisting of the following compounds: 21217562_1 (GHMatters) P119305.NZ in the above chemical formula, Me is methyl. ?Claim 4 ? A method for producing the transition metal complex of claim 1, the method comprising the steps 5 of: synthesizing a transition metal dimer using a transition metal halide salt having a counterion of ammonium; introducing a C-N ligand into the transition metal dimer to prepare a C-N complex; and introducing an N-N ligand into the C-N complex to prepare a transition metal complex of Chemical Formula 1, wherein C-N is one selected from a group consisting of , , 10 and ; and N-N is one selected from a group consisting of 21217562_1 (GHMatters) P119305.NZ , , , , , , and ?Claim 5 ? A method for producing the transition metal complex of Chemical Formula 1 of claim 1, the 5 method comprising the steps of: i) reacting hexachloroosmium ammonium salt as a transition metal halide salt having a counterion of ammonium with 1,3-cyclohexadiene to prepare bis[(? - benzene)dichlorodiosmium[(? -bz)OsCl ] of the following Chemical Formula 7 which is an osmium dimer; ii) introducing a C-N ligand into the bis[(? -benzene)dichlorodiosmium[(? -bz)OsCl ] prepared in step i) to prepare a C-N complex; and iii) introducing an N-N ligand into the C-N complex prepared in 10 step ii) to prepare the transition metal complex of Chemical Formula 1; [Chemical Formula 7] wherein C-N is one selected from a group consisting of , , and ; and N-N is one selected from a group consisting of 21217562_1 (GHMatters) P119305.NZ , , , , , , and ?Claim 6 ? The method of claim 5, wherein the 1,3-cyclohexadiene is used in an amount of 7 to 10 5 equivalents relative to the hexachloroosmium ammonium salt of step i), the reaction temperature is 90 to 100°C, and the reaction time is 48 to 72 hours. ?Claim 7 ? The method of claim 5, wherein the C-N ligand is used in the amount of 2 to 4 equivalents relative to the osmium dimer of Chemical Formula 7, the reaction temperature is 80 to 160?, and the reaction 10 time is 6 to 48 hours. ?Claim 8 ? The method of claim 5, wherein the C-N complex has a structure selected from the group consisting of the following compounds: C-N Complex Structure C-N complex 2b 21217562_1 (GHMatters) P119305.NZ C-N complex 3c C-N complex 3d C-N complex 7b ?Claim 9 ? The method of claim 5, wherein the N-N ligand is used in the amount of 2 to 2.2 equivalents based on the osmium dimer of Chemical Formula 7, the reaction temperature is 70 to 90?, and the reaction time 5 is 3 to 36 hours. ?Claim 10 ?
