(Prior Art) Conventionally, cutting oil and grinding oil have been widely used for cutting and grinding in various fields of machining, but recently, cutting and grinding conditions have been speeded up, and tool technology has advanced. However, due to resource conservation and improvement of oil itself, water-containing ones are often used.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) However, after the water-containing cutting oil or grinding oil is diluted with water, the temperature rise associated with each processing, bacteria decomposed by additives in the oil, etc. Inviting mold and other breeding,
It gradually decomposes, and it starts to emit a foul odor. Then, as the rot further progresses, the oil itself is contaminated or slime is formed due to the influence of bacteria and the circulation of the oil is deteriorated, which not only leads to the deterioration of the working environment due to the generation of a bad odor, but also becomes a target for machining. It exposes problems such as shortening the tool life.

(Means for Solving Problems) The means for achieving the above object will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. The composition is a lump, a granule or a powder of water-soluble glass containing monovalent Ag in its composition. Any one of the above, or a solid 10 made of a mixture, wrapped with a water-permeable fiber cloth made of a woven or non-woven fabric of synthetic fibers, suspended and immersed in cutting oil or grinding oil 30 diluted with water, and the glass solid 10 is dissolved in the fiber cloth 1 in the water through a gelled state to dissolve out Ag + ions, and the suspending substances or suspended matters contained in the oil 30 are the texture of the water-permeable fiber cloth 1. A water-containing material characterized in that Ag + ions are retained in the gel-like material while further suppressing the invasion into the gel-like material so that it can be gradually eluted into the remaining water outside the fiber cloth 1 from the cloth. (Operation) A water-soluble glass solid substance 10 containing monovalent Ag in the composition is wrapped in a water-containing cutting oil or a grinding oil with a water-permeable fiber cloth 1 made of a woven or non-woven fabric of synthetic fibers and dipped in suspension. As a result, the glass solid material 10 is dissolved in the gel cloth in the soluble fiber cloth 1 to suppress the sudden outflow action, and is gradually dissolved to retain Ag + ions in the gel material. After that, the water-containing cutting is performed by gradually eluting Ag + ions into the residual water outside the fiber cloth 1 from the grain of the fiber cloth 1 by sterilizing and removing the microorganisms and molds of the Ag + ions. Prevents putrefaction of oil or grinding oil and generation of offensive odor. And this action will be to control the dissolution rate in water of the solid 10 by the gelation phenomenon with the solid 10,
From now on, it will be eluted in water while maintaining a constant Ag + ion over time.

From the test results shown in Table 1, the treatment method of the present invention reduces the total number of probiotic bacteria, molds, sulfate-reducing bacteria, etc. that cause water spoilage in the cutting oil over time, while increasing the PH value to the alkaline side. It can be seen that this promotes the action of Ag + ions and reduces the generation of odor.

(Effect of the invention) As described above, the treatment method of the present invention, the total soluble glass solids containing monovalent Ag wrapped with a water-permeable fiber cloth made of synthetic fiber woven cloth or nonwoven cloth resistant to oil and water. It is a gradual and continuous elution of Ag + ions to prevent the oil from spoiling and the generation of malodor, so the action of Ag + ions suppresses the decay of oil and the generation of microorganisms that cause malodor. However, the cutting oil and the grinding oil are drastically extended, and the cutting oil and the grinding oil are renewed for a long period of time, whereby the cost associated with the extension can be reduced and the work cycle can be improved.

Also, the above-mentioned glass solid matter is not of a type that can be injected into a fixed amount in the process of processing simply by suspending it in a reservoir or a unit, so that it is easy to handle and the weight loss due to use can be visually confirmed. Maintenance of solid matter is easy, and since it elutes on the entire surface of solid matter, it can be applied to a static type with no forced flow in the reservoir, and it can also damage the cutting and grinding machines. You can combine profits that are not available.
