料で始動は可能であったとしても、前述の様に実用面の
運転では、燃料供給が不十分になる欠点があった。又ガ
ソリンと比較し気化の潜熱が大きくノズルから噴出の
際、ノズル部の温度が低下してアイシング現象を起こす
など、運転不能になることがありこのため燃料容器を加
温して気化を促進しようとするものがあったが、貯溜さ
れた燃料全部を加温するため、携帯用の小型エンジンで
は装置が大型となって重量が大となり実用化できない欠
点があった。2.
