[0003] By the way, on the railway floor, every time a train passes, the vibrations pass through the surrounding gravel, embankment, elevated concrete structures from the rails and sleepers, and spread to surrounding houses and the like, and the vibrations cause loud noise. Vibration pollution has become a social problem.

In the prior art, a cloth-like thin fiber material has been laid under the roadbed, but it has hardly been used for the purpose of reducing the vibration and noise. . Also, if such fiber material is laid under gravel, part of the fiber material will be exposed, and railway construction, sparks when trains are braked, throwing tobacco, etc. will be used as a fire source, sometimes fiber The material ignited and there was a risk of fire spread.

First, the main synthetic fiber contains a phosphorus compound.
It is a copolymerized flame-retardant polyester fiber having an LOI value of 24 or more when formed into a nonwoven fabric . It is necessary to use a flame-retardant polyester fiber obtained by copolymerizing a phosphorus compound from the viewpoints of physical strength and weather resistance. LOI value is 2
If it is less than 4, the flame retardancy is insufficient, so that it is not suitable.

The porosity of the nonwoven fabric must be 75% or more. If the porosity is less than 75%, the nonwoven fabric becomes too hard, and vibration is easily transmitted, which is not preferable. Further, the thickness of the nonwoven fabric needs to be 3 mm or more. The upper limit is not particularly limited, but is preferably about 30 mm because the effect is saturated to some extent, the workability of the laying work is reduced, and the manufacturing cost of the nonwoven fabric is increased. If the thickness is less than 3 mm, the effect of absorbing shock is small and the effect of reducing noise and vibration is insufficient, which is not preferable.

The nonwoven fabric may be a spunbond nonwoven fabric made of long fibers or a dry nonwoven fabric made of short fibers. However, in the case of a non-woven fabric having a thickness of 6 to 7 mm or more, it is difficult to manufacture with a spun-bonded non-woven fabric. It is appropriate to do. These non-woven fabrics may be those obtained by bonding the main synthetic fibers to each other using a resin binder or a fibrous binder, or may be non-woven fabrics that are mechanically entangled with a needle punch. Tension and tear strength enough to withstand the occasional work is required.

The denier of the synthetic fiber needs to be 2 to 200 denier for the operation of forming a nonwoven fabric. In addition, the non-woven fabric is laid appropriately from under and around the railroad crossties to both sides of the roadbed, gravel is laid thereon and used, and a part thereof may be exposed from between the gravel, From the standpoint of aesthetics and weather resistance, it is preferable to use those which are undiluted with pigments such as black, brown and blue.

When the nonwoven fabric of the present invention is laid on a railway road floor,
As a shock absorbing material, vibration and noise when passing through the train can be reduced. In addition, since this nonwoven fabric has voids, the water permeability is good, and rainwater is quickly discharged, and the nonwoven fabric has an effect of preventing generation of roadbed mud. Even if it ignites, LOI
Since flame-retardant fibers having a value of 24 or more are used, it is difficult to spread. Therefore, even if the nonwoven fabric is exposed, it is safe against fire sources such as track construction, sparks of brakes, and tossed tobacco.

(1) LOI value According to the oxygen index method specified in JIS K7201. (2) Porosity Measure the basis weight A (g / m 2 ) and thickness B (mm) of the nonwoven fabric,
It is calculated according to the following equation using the density C (g / cm 3 ) of the polymer constituting the fiber (1.38 in the case of polyester). Porosity (%) = (1−A × 10 −3 / B × C) × 100 (3) Vibration and noise A non-woven fabric is laid over the entire roadbed of the railway line except for gravel, and then on the non-woven fabric Construction work to cover the area with gravel will be carried out for a section of 100m in length. After that, the vibration and noise when passing through the train were measured with a seismometer and a noise meter installed on the road at a certain point beside the track, and were obtained as the vibration width and noise of the ground.

Example 1 Flame-retardant polyester manufactured by Unitika Co., Ltd. (trade name: Honogard, 5000 ppm of phosphorus compound as phosphorus atom)
A polyester spunbonded nonwoven fabric having a single-fiber fineness of 2.3 denier and a basis weight of 450 g / m 2 was prepared by a conventional method. This was entangled with a needle punch to obtain a nonwoven fabric having a thickness of 5 mm and a porosity of 93%. The LOI value of this nonwoven fabric was 29, and it did not spread even when ignited in a match. Using this nonwoven fabric, the construction described in the section (3) of the above evaluation method was performed, and the effect was measured.
