By the way, the gasket is in a swelling state which is larger in size than the joint, and when the outer wall panel is constructed at the construction site, the panels are sequentially attached from the end. There is no problem when the gaskets are pressed in contact with each other, but it is often necessary to set the panels in the state where the panels are already mounted on both sides of the panels to be mounted in the work process in the construction work. In this case, it is necessary to set the panel between the panels with a predetermined gap between the panels, but the gasket that is already fixed to the side of the panel will force the panel to be pushed in. In the case of a double type, the gasket side faces and the side face of the gasket hit each other, and the repulsion force is large. When setting a panel, for example, the gasket height of a double type hollow gasket for a 25 mm joint for a PC curtain wall is When this gasket is attached to the side surface of a 4500 mm x 2700 mm panel at 22 mm and constructed, the repulsion force is about 10 to 2
It becomes 0 kg / m 2 , and it becomes 100 kg or more per one panel, and it is difficult to perform the work. If the core of the gasket is misaligned, the watertight performance after the work cannot be sufficiently secured, and the handling and safety There was also a problem on.

In this case, the height of the gasket is 22 mm.
(In the case of a double-type gasket), the gasket is suctioned about 10 times in the height direction by sucking the air in the hollow portion 3 of the gasket body 1 from the suction pipe 5 before attaching the panel plate 8 to the outer wall. 1111 mm, which is less than half the original height. The suction operation is sufficiently performed by a suction force of a household vacuum cleaner or a portable suction device, and the required time is about 3 to 5 seconds. After the suction is completed, the panel mounting operation can be easily completed while the height of the gasket main body 1 is low by closing the suction tube. Furthermore, when the closing means 6 is removed after the panel mounting is completed and the sealing of the suction pipe 5 is released, the outside air flows in and the gasket main body 1 returns to its original state, and a sufficient watertight function can be secured, and thereafter the suction pipe 5 is removed.

The present invention relates to an architectural joint construction method for maintaining a panel joint in a watertight manner by interposing a gasket in a gap between the architectural panels. An elastic hollow gasket with a dome-shaped cross-section connected to the flat leg is attached to the panel joint surface at the adhesive surface of the flat leg, or the maximum width of the inclined side of the gasket. Through the suction tube attached at or near this position, air is sucked from the gasket hollow by the suction mechanism, and the height of the gasket is reduced by making the curved surface-shaped head of the gasket flat in the height direction, After maintaining the state by the closing means attached to the suction pipe, the panel is set, then the suction pipe is opened, and air is flowed into the hollow portion of the gasket to restore the gasket body in the height direction. By holding the panel joints watertight, when installing an outer wall panel plate such as a PC curtain wall or a metal curtain wall of a building, air is suctioned in advance from the hollow portion in the sealing gasket for joints by use of reduced pressure, and the closing means of the closing means is used. By attaching and detaching, the gasket is evenly squashed flat in the direction of the inner surface of the leg, and its height is reduced, so that the gasket is always properly inserted between the panels, making it extremely easy to install the panels. The sealing is released, the outside air flows into the gasket, the gasket is restored in a uniform direction without distortion, and the outer wall panels can be elastically kept watertight, jointing work is safe and easy, and panel mounting work Simplicity and sufficient watertightness of the gasket to easily handle misalignment of panels during jointing And yet those that finish good and also makes it possible to achieve a short-term reduction and labor saving of site construction work does not take construction labor at reduced use, it can contribute to greatly savings of the construction cost.
