Symptoms are mainly oestrus or dull estrus, with no external signs of estrus even though the ovary can be palpated with the corpus luteum or follicles. The symptoms occur frequently about 50 to 90 days after parturition. In many cases, estrus returns spontaneously after 100 days of delivery, but some do not. The reproductive disorders are treated with vitamins and hormonal agents, but they do not always provide sufficient effects and are often abolished.
