Description of the Related Art Fiber belt slings (hereinafter abbreviated as belt slings) not only have high strength, but also have a soft property not found in wire ropes and chains. Due to its ease of handling, it is widely used not only for loads that are easily damaged, but also for slinging heavy loads. Conventional belt slings with eyes (suspension rings) at both ends are provided with eyes at both ends of a single-layered or multi-layered and densely woven belt, and when it is necessary to increase wear resistance or weather resistance A cover cloth or a pad cloth is used to cover or attach to a required portion.
The load is received by the belt sling body because the purpose of the cover or patch cloth is to wear or weather. Therefore, in order to increase the strength (withstand load) of the belt sling, conventionally, it has been general to study the fiber material and the weaving method of the belt sling body.

In the belt sling for high load proposed in the above item, the structure is much stronger than that of the conventional nylon made even with a narrow width by using an aromatic polyamide fiber for the fiber. In the example using the aromatic polyamide fiber, the fiber is covered with a weather-resistant cover in order to enhance light resistance (weather resistance). In Japanese Patent Application No. 8-84107, a tubular woven fabric is used to provide a sliding action to the weather-resistant cover. Thus, the conventional function of the cover has been to increase the abrasion resistance of the inner fiber fabric or to shield light so that the inner fibers do not undergo photolysis.

Have difficulty. The present inventor does not depend on the fiber material and the weaving method of the belt sling body, suppresses the cost of the belt sling, increases the durability,
In addition, we considered enhancing safety.

It is a belt sling obtained by sewing a low elongation belt woven with fibers having higher strength and lower elongation than the material integrally with the main belt. The term “at least one side” as used herein means having a low elongation belt on one side or both sides of a planar portion that contacts a suspended object.

The length of the low elongation belt 3 is determined by C and the length E of the intermediate portion, and the low elongation belt 3 having this length contributes to load resistance in normal use. The length A of the eye 1,1 is the same as that of a commonly used eye.

Each belt sling is suspended in a basket by hanging the hooks on both sides of the eye so that the belt sling is U-shaped, and the load is applied to the lower part in the middle. The value at the time of breaking was measured by gradually increasing the value. From the results in Table 1, the following is clear. That is, even if a low elongation belt is formed from fibers of the same material as the belt body and sewn to one or both sides of the belt body, the breaking strength cannot be increased. It is necessary to form a low elongation belt with fibers having a higher strength and a lower elongation than fibers of the belt body such as aromatic polyamide fibers. Further, the sewing length of the low elongation belt is also important, and it is necessary to increase the sewing with a length substantially equal to the length of the sewn portion of the belt sling or the same sewing strength as the sewn portion.

d, a low elongation belt 3 woven with 3.8% elongation, trade name Vectran HT, manufactured by Kuraray Co., Ltd.) was sewn integrally with the main body belt 2 as shown in FIG. In this case, too, the low elongation belt 3 made of polyarylate fiber becomes a strength member, and even if the belt sling tends to elongate, the low elongation belt 3 keeps the elongation constant, and breaks first, the thread of the low elongation belt breaks. Such as starting
As a result, the prevention of breakage of the belt main body and the securing of safety were obtained.

That is, since the low elongation belt is integrated with the belt body, the low elongation belt contributes to the load capacity during normal use, and when the low elongation belt wears, the belt body becomes a load-bearing member. Therefore, safety can be maintained for a long time and durability can be exhibited. Further, since the low elongation belt protects the belt main body in the same manner as the conventional cover cloth and patch cloth, the belt main body can always be kept in a new state.
