切換えローラが停止している状態で、搬送されてくるシ
ート先端の該切換えローラの周面に衝接する角度に基づ
く作用力によりシートを第1搬送経路に案内し、切換え
ローラが回転している場合は、回転しているローラの周
面とこれに衝接するシート先端との間の係合による作用
力によりシートを第2搬送経路に案内するようにしたこ
とを特徴とするシート搬送経路切換え装置。
