手段への育苗箱2の排出動作を行うようにしたことを特
徴とするものである。請求項2記載の育苗箱の積層装置
は、請求項1記載の装置において、前記搬送手段3は、
両角型フレーム11の間の前記受入手段5の側方からこ
の受入手段5に向けて育苗に用いる多数の育苗箱2を順
次送り込み搬送する無端ベルト20、プーリ21及び駆

固定部材17と角型フレーム11の上面の端部との間に
水平に配置した押し込み用のエアーシリンダ18と、こ
のエアーシリンダ18のシリンダロッド18aに対して

ーリ21及び図示しない駆動源を具備している。次に、
上述した構成の育苗箱2の積層装置1の作用を、図5乃
至図9を参照して説明する。この積層装置1における搬
送手段3の無端ベルト20が図3に示す矢印方向に駆動
されている状態で無端ベルト20上に育苗箱2を順次乗
せると、各育苗箱2は受入手段6のローラコンベア16
上へ搬送され、ローラコンベア16の中央部分に至る。
この状態で、前記エアーシリンダ18がシリンダロッド
18aを介して押し込み部材19を図5において右方向
に移動させ、ローラコンベア16上の育苗箱2を例えば
第2の育苗箱積層収容手段8Bのゲートシャッタ14
a、14b側へ押し込む。このとき、育苗箱2は、図4

に第1の育苗箱積層収容手段8A側に変位した状態を示

に移動させ、ローラコンベア16上の育苗箱2を右方向
に移動させる。この結果、ゲートシャッタ14a、14
bには図6に示すように2個の育苗箱2が接触状態で列
設することになる。このような動作を繰り返すことによ
り、図7乃至図9に示すように、ゲートシャッタ14
a、14bにより支持される育苗箱2の数は3個、4
個、5個というように段階的に増加する。ゲートシャッ

に示す5個の状態になった後、前記第2の育苗箱積層収
容手段8Bにおける一対のシリンダ15a、15bが同
時に動作し、ゲートシャッタ14a、14bを回動させ
て5個の育苗箱2を前記鉄製パレット7上に同時に滑落
させる。これにより、鉄製パレット7上に5個の育苗箱
2が順次接触状態で水平配置に列設することになる。な

を連続稼働することができ、後述する育苗箱自動配置装
置100へのフォークリフトを用いた連続移送作業の便
宜を図れる。また、上述したように作業者は育苗箱2を
ベルトコンベア20に載せるだけの軽作業ですむため、
重労働を無くすことが可能となる。多数の各育苗箱2を
ベルトコンベア20に載せる作業は、人手を介すること
なく機械的に行うことができることは勿論である。次
に、育苗箱自動配置装置100の概要を、図13、図1
4を参照して説明する。同図に示す育苗箱自動配置装置
100は、積層状態の育苗箱2を載置し且つ昇降動する
育苗箱載置台103と、この育苗箱載置台103の下方
に配置され図示しない駆動源により図13に示す矢印方
向へ回転駆動されてこの育苗箱自動配置装置100自体
を前進させるキャタピラ104と、育苗箱載置台103
の上方に配置され該育苗箱載置台103上の最上段の育
