で脂肪分解を促進することができる。このホルモンと同
様に油滴と酵素の親和性を高める働きをもつ物質を見つ
けることが必要であると考えた。そこで、本発明者等は
このような作用を有し脂肪細胞に作用し、脂肪分解を促
進する物質を検討した結果、ゲンノショウコ、シャクヤ
ク、センブリ、タイムより抽出したエキスが、上記作用
を有し、脂肪組織に蓄積された脂肪の分解を促進し、肥
満の抑制、または肥満体質の改善に有効であることを見
