【従来の技術】
上記のような電子機器には例えばインターホン、電話器、電気錠操作ユニット、アラームユニット、テレコンなどがあり、該電子機器は、ハウジングの一部に設けた凹部内に、機能や番号等の設定を行う設定スイッチ部（スイッチの集合）を配設してなる。該設定スイッチ部による設定は、住戸番号、暗証番号、内線番号、…などの番号設定や、異常時警報音有り／無し選択、周辺機器の使用／不使用選択、ダイヤル方式切替、呼出音切替、…などの機能設定が、機器に応じて１乃至複数機能可能になっている。

ところで、前記設定スイッチ部は頻繁に切り替えられるものではないので、従来は設定スイッチ部の配設スペースを多くとらないように、設定スイッチ部の個々のスイッチ自体をディップスイッチなどの小型スイッチで構成し、誤操作しにくいようにハウジングに凹部を設けてその中に設定スイッチ部を配設し、設定スイッチ部を設けた凹部を普段はカバーにより覆い隠すようにしている。

一方で、設定スイッチ部は頻繁に切り替えられるものでないゆえ、該設定スイッチ部の設定方法を記した説明書きが必要となってくる。従来は説明書きは、▲１▼設定スイッチ部の周囲に記載するか、▲２▼前記カバーの裏側に記載するか、▲３▼別に取扱説明書を作成するか、▲４▼例えば実開昭５５−１７５２８４のように電子機器に説明書用の入れ物を設けるか、などしていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら上記方法▲１▼▲２▼では、狭い配設スペースゆえ説明書きのスペースに制限があり、十分な説明書きを記載することが出来ない。これを解決しようと、例えば縮小文字で説明書きを記載すると読みにくいなどの問題がある。又、上記方法▲３▼では、十分な説明書きを説明書に記載出来るが、普段使わない説明書であるので説明書を紛失してしまうことが多い。上記▲４▼も同様に、十分な説明書きを説明書に記載出来るが、説明書を紛失してしまう心配があるし、説明書用入れ物のための余分な部材およびスペースが必要になってしまう。

本発明は上記問題点に鑑みて成されたものであり、その目的とするところは、狭いスペースに設けられた設定スイッチ部の設定に関して十分な説明書きを記載した説明書を、説明書収納用の余分な部材やスペースを設けることなく収納可能で、且つ説明書を紛失しにくいように構成した電子機器を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するために成された請求項１に記載の本発明は、ハウジングの一部の凹部内に設定スイッチ部を配設し、該凹部を覆うカバーをハウジングに着脱自在に嵌着した電子機器において、前記設定スイッチ部の設定方法に関する説明を表示した説明書の一端を前記カバーに固定し且つ該説明書の非固定部を折り畳み、カバーを凹部に嵌着して説明書を凹部内に収納することを特徴とするものである。

【作用】
請求項１の本発明においては、普段ハウジングに嵌着されているカバーに説明書を固定するので、説明書も確実にハウジングに取り付けられる。又、説明書を折り畳んで凹部に収納するので、より多くの説明書きを記載した説明書をコンパクトに収納できる。又、説明書の収納のために、設定スイッチ部を設けた凹部の空きスペースを有効に活用しているので、説明書収納用の余分な部材やスペースは不要である。

図１乃至図４は、本発明に係る電子機器の一実施例を示す図である。以下、本発明をその一実施例に基づいて説明する。尚、本実施例においては火災感知器やガス検知器を接続した電話機能付インターホンを例に挙げるが、上記した電子機器など様々な電子機器に適用できる。

図２は、本発明一実施例の電子機器１の正面図である。該電子機器１は、ハウジング２に各種ボタンを配設および電子回路を内蔵したものであり、通話用のハンドセット３をオンフックするフック部４の下部４ａには凹部５が設けられており、その凹部５内には、ディップスイッチなどの設定スイッチ複数で構成した設定スイッチ部１０，１１が配設されている。また、設定スイッチ部１０，１１の設定内容が容易に変更されないよう、該凹部５を覆うカバー７がハウジング２の凹部５内周縁に着脱自在に嵌着するようになっており、普段は該カバー７が該凹部５を覆い隠す状態となっている。該カバー７には、凹部５内周縁に嵌着するための嵌着溝７ａ、嵌着爪７ｂが設けられている。

図１は該電子機器１の凹部５断面および前記カバー７を示す図である。前記凹部５の内周縁には、カバー７の嵌着溝７ａに係合する係合爪９ａ、カバーの嵌着爪７ｂが係合する係合穴９ｂが設けられている。該カバー７は、ハウジング２の凹部５に嵌着した際に、凹部５周囲の前記フック部４の下部４ａと面一になる。
