Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a paper transport device, and more particularly, to a paper transport device in a bookbinding system that matches a transport interval time of a book forming a booklet with a bookbinding processing time.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, a printing machine or a copying machine has been connected to a bookbinding machine, and the printed or copied paper has been conveyed continuously to the bookbinding machine in the order of pages (in this specification, the order number of one sheet is shown). It is desired to develop a bookbinding system that can perform bookbinding such as saddle stitching, flat stitching, and corner stitching. Among printing machines, there is a so-called on-demand printing machine in which sheets are printed in page order. Among them, there is a printing machine in which sheets are printed one after another in page order using roll paper and sent out page by page.
[0003]
FIG. 3 shows a schematic configuration of the entirety of the case where the printing press and the bookbinding machine are connected. In FIG. 3, reference numeral 1 denotes a bookbinding apparatus that performs bookbinding processing such as saddle stitching, flat stitching, and corner stitching. Reference numeral 2 denotes an on-demand printing machine that uses roll paper, 3 denotes a first transport device, 4 denotes a second transport device, 5 denotes a cutter, 6 denotes a roll paper for printing, and 7 denotes a paper after printing.
[0004]
The roll paper 6 for printing is sequentially pulled out and printed one after another by a printing device (not shown) in the order of pages forming booklets. The printed paper 7 is cut by the cutter 5 for each page and sent out by the high-speed first transport device 3. Each sheet in each page order sent from the printing press 2 to the first transport device 3 is sent to a second transport device 4 installed on the loading side of the bookbinding device.
[0005]
The sheet sent to the second transport device 4 is accelerated here and sent to a bookbinding processing position (not shown). At the bookbinding processing position, the respective sheets in the page order sent from the second transport device 4 are sequentially stacked, and when the last sheet of one book is stacked, the bookbinding process is performed and the sheet is discharged from the bookbinding apparatus 1.
[0006]
As described above, the bookbinding apparatus 1 successively receives sheets sent from the printing press 2 for each page, and performs bookbinding processing after receiving one sheet of paper. This bookbinding process needs to be performed within a time period from when the last page of one book is received until the first page of the next book is conveyed, that is, within the conveyance interval time. Processing requires a predetermined time, and it is necessary to secure this bookbinding processing time.
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
There is no problem if the bookbinding processing time is shorter than the transport interval time, but it may be difficult to secure the bookbinding processing time due to a change in printing speed or paper size. In such a case, in order to secure the bookbinding processing time, it is sufficient to stop the printing for the bookbinding processing time every time printing of one book is completed. However, it is particularly difficult to stop the printing in a printing machine using roll paper. It is difficult.
[0008]
The present invention has been made in view of such a situation, and in bookbinding processing of paper in which each sheet of a plurality of booklets is sent at fixed time intervals, bookbinding that can sufficiently secure bookbinding processing time. An object of the present invention is to provide a paper transport device in a system.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to provide a paper transport apparatus in a bookbinding system in which a plurality of booklet sheets are delivered to a bookbinding processing position in the order of receipt of sheets that are sent at predetermined time intervals in the page order of each booklet. The present invention is attained by providing a sheet transport device in a bookbinding system, wherein the unloading of the sheet of the first page of a booklet is delayed within the predetermined time interval.
[0010]
According to a feature of the present invention, after the sheet of the last page of one booklet is carried out to the bookbinding processing position, the carrying out of the sheet of the first page of the next booklet is delayed, and the delayed bookbinding processing is performed. Time is reserved. This makes it possible to bind a booklet of, for example, a paper size, for which binding processing has not been possible in the past.
[0011]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an embodiment of a sheet conveying device in a bookbinding system according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a configuration of a sheet conveying device according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is an operation explanatory diagram of the sheet conveying device shown in FIG. Note that the paper transport device shown in FIG. 1 is the paper transport device installed as the second transport device described with reference to FIG.
[0012]
In FIG. 1, 11 is a motor, 12 is a one-way clutch, 13, 15, 18a, 18b, 23a and 23b are pulleys, 14 and 17 are rotation transmission shafts, 16 is an electromagnetic clutch, 19 is a conveyor belt, and 20 is a low speed side. A power transmission belt, 21 is a high-speed power transmission belt, and 22 is a paper pressing roller. The sheet is carried in from the lower right direction of the drawing and sent out in the upper left direction.
[0013]
The rotation transmission shaft 17 has pulleys 18a and 18b around which a transport belt 19 is hung, fixed, a one-way clutch 12 attached at one end, and an electromagnetic clutch 16 attached at the other end. The two transport bells 19 stretched over the pulleys 18a, 18b are respectively stretched over pulleys 23a, 23b installed in the front in the paper transport direction, and are driven by pulleys 18a, 18b which rotate with the rotation of the rotation transmission shaft 17. The paper rotates around by rotation, and the paper (not shown) is sent out by this movement.
[0014]
A low-speed power transmission belt 20 for transmitting the rotation of the motor 12 is stretched over the one-way clutch 12 at one end of the rotation transmission shaft 17, and the belt 20 is hung on a pulley 13 fixed to one end of the rotation transmission shaft 14. The one-way clutch 12 and the pulley 13 rotate by the rotation of the motor 12, and the pulley 13 rotates at a higher speed than the one-way clutch 12. The rotation of the pulley 13 rotates the pulley 15 fixed to the other end of the rotation transmission shaft 14 via the rotation transmission shaft 14, and the other end of the rotation transmission shaft 17 is rotated by the high-speed side belt 21 wrapped around the pulley 15. Of the electromagnetic clutch 16 is rotated.
[0015]
Normally, the rotation transmission shaft 17 is connected to the electromagnetic clutch 16 and rotates at high speed, and the paper is accelerated and sent out at high speed. When the last page of one book is fed in this state, the rotation transmission shaft 17 is disconnected from the electromagnetic clutch 16 and is rotated at a low speed by the one-way clutch 12, and the low speed causes the rotation of the first page of the next booklet. Delivery of paper is delayed. When the paper of the first page is sent out, the rotation transmission shaft 17 is again connected to the electromagnetic clutch 16 and rotates at high speed, and thereafter, this conveyance is repeated.
[0016]
The control of the electromagnetic clutch 16 is performed by controlling a signal of a sheet detector at an entrance of a bookbinding apparatus (not shown), that is, an entrance of a bookbinding processing unit, and a last page of one book from a printing machine or the like connected to the bookbinding apparatus. Is controlled by the sheet sending signal of the sheet.
[0017]
The paper transport device thus configured operates as shown in FIG. That is, FIG. 2 is an explanatory view assuming that one book is composed of four sheets (4 pages). FIG. 2 (a) shows the flow of the sheet sent to the sheet conveying device, and FIG. The flow of the paper sent from the paper transport device, (c) is a signal for sending the last page of one book from the printing press, (d) is the operation timing of the electromagnetic clutch, and (e) is the paper at the entrance of the bookbinding device. The detection signal is shown.
[0018]
Until the sheet conveying device, first book, sheets constituting each booklet regardless second book is sent at a predetermined constant time interval t 0 (in FIG. 2 (a)). Each sheet of 4 pages of the first first book, the rotation transmission shaft 17 is sent out to the bookbinding position at high speed at a predetermined time interval t 0 given according the order sent be coupled to the electromagnetic clutch 16.
[0019]
After receiving a signal (FIG. 2C) from the printing press that has sent out the last fourth page of the first book, after a predetermined timing (the time t 3 required by the first transport device or the like shown in FIG. 3 ). The rotation transmission shaft 17 is disengaged from the electromagnetic clutch 16 and the transport belt 19 moves at a low speed. In this state, the second belt receives the first sheet of the first page, and the second sheet first receives the sheet of the first page. the timing for sending the delayed, the time t 1 for feeding the first paper of the first page of the second book from the time of sending out a sheet of first book of the last of the fourth page is longer than t 0 (Fig. 2 (B)).
[0020]
The first first book bookbinding processing time the time t 1 is sufficiently ensured. Time the electromagnetic clutch 16 is disconnected is set considering the binding processing time predetermined within a certain time interval t 0 is transmitted next transport interval time in advance each sheet so as not to overlap the sheet Have been. Thus, after the set time, the rotation transmission shaft 17 is connected to the electromagnetic clutch 16, sent out to the bookbinding position at high speed at a predetermined time interval t 0 given according the order sent. Hereinafter, the low-speed movement of the transport belt 19 is repeated between each booklet.
[0021]
【The invention's effect】
As described in detail above, according to the present invention, a long time can be secured for each booklet interval, a sufficient bookbinding processing time is secured, and the bookbinding machine can be connected to an on-demand printing machine using roll paper.
