本発明はトリガー式スプレイヤーに関する。

【従来の技術】
正倒立兼用のトリガー式スプレイヤーとして、スプレイヤー本体に接続したディップチューブの先端に正立用吸引口を備えるとともに、ディップチューブの基端側に倒立用吸引口を備えてなるものがある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
トリガー式スプレイヤーが用いられている容器本体の正立時に、内容液の残量がディップチューブの先端以下になっても、倒立用吸引口が閉じ状態にあるから、ディップチューブの内部の液は図2(C)に示す如くに排出されない。そして、容器本体への内容液の詰替時に、トリガー式スプレイヤーを容器本体から取外して横置きあるいは、倒立にすると、正立時に倒立用吸引口を閉じていたボール弁が開き、ディップチューブの内部の液が初めて空気置換されて液ダレする。

本発明の課題は、正倒立兼用のトリガー式スプレイヤーにおいて、容器本体から取外したときの液ダレを防止することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
請求項1に記載の本発明は、容器本体に着脱されるスプレイヤー本体に垂直方向に対して傾けるようにディップチューブを接続し、ディップチューブの先端に正立用吸引口を備えるとともに、ディップチューブの基端側に倒立用吸引口を備えてなるトリガー式スプレイヤーであって、ディップチューブの先端上側壁部であって容器本体底面と反対側の壁部を切除したものである。

本発明のディップチューブは、容器底面における垂直方向に対して傾くように接続される。ここで傾くとは、▲1▼真っ直ぐのディップチューブをスプレーヤー本体に対し傾けて接続する場合、▲2▼くの字状のディップチューブをスプレーヤー本体と接続する場合、▲3▼曲線状にカーブを持つディップチューブをスプレーヤー本体と接続する場合、のいずれでも良い。

【発明の実施の形態】
トリガー式スプレイヤー10は、図1、図2に示す如く、キャップ10Aにより容器本体1に着脱されるスプレイヤー本体11のインテーク11Aにディップチューブ12を接続し、ディップチューブ12の先端に正立用吸引口13を備えるとともに、ディップチューブ12の基端側に倒立用吸引口14を備える。

スプレイヤー本体11は、トリガー11Bを有し、トリガー11Bに加える操作により、内蔵ポンプ(不図示)を駆動し、容器本体1の消臭洗浄剤等の内容液をディップチューブ12から吸引し、ノズル11Cから吐出する。

スプレイヤー本体11は、ディップチューブ12の倒立用吸引口14にボール弁15を備え、容器本体1の正立時にはボール弁15を弁座16に着座させて倒立用吸引口14を閉じ(図1)、容器本体1の倒立時にボール弁15を弁座16から弁支持部17に落として倒立用吸引口14を容器本体1の内部に導通せしめる。

ここで、トリガー式スプレイヤー10にあっては、ディップチューブ12の正立用吸引口13が設けられている先端の上側壁部を切除して切除部13Aとしている。

従って、本実施形態によれば、以下の作用がある。
▲1▼内容液の残量がディップチューブ12の先端以下になると、ディップチューブ12の正立用吸引口13が設けられている先端上側壁部の切除部13Aが液面上方に位置するものとなり、この切除部13Aからディップチューブ12の内部に空気が侵入する(図2(A))。これにより、ディップチューブ12の内部の液は空気置換されて容器本体1の内部へと排出される(図2(B))。その後、詰替時に、スプレイヤー10を容器本体1から取外して横置きしても、ディップチューブ12の内部はもはや空であり、液ダレを生じない。

▲2▼スプレイヤー10の容器本体1への取付け時に、ディップチューブ12の先端が容器本体1の内面に接していると、上述▲1▼で空気置換されるディップチューブ12の内部の液が容器本体1の内面に伝わり排出し易くなる。

▲3▼内容液の表面張力が 1〜50mN/mのとき、ディップチューブ12の内径がφ 2〜10mm、より好ましくは、φ3.5〜5.0mmであれば、先端切除部13Aのチューブ軸方向に沿う切除長Lを3mm 以上、より好ましくは、5〜10mmとするとき、上述▲1▼の空気置換性を向上できる。

尚、内容液を洗浄剤、ディップチューブ12の内径をφ3.5mm とするとき、ディップチューブ12の軸方向に沿う切除部13Aの切除長Lを1.0mm 、3.0mm 、50.0mmに変化し、液排出性の良否を比較した結果、表1を得た。表1よれば、切除部13Aの切除長Lを3.0mm 以上とすることにより、ディップチューブ12の空気置換性を向上し、液排出性を良好にできることが認められる。但し、切除部13Aの切除長Lは容器本体1における内容液の残量レベルを規制するものとなるから、過大にはできず、最大30mm程度が好適となる。

【発明の効果】
以上のように本発明によれば、正倒立兼用のトリガー式スプレイヤーにおいて、容器本体から取外したときの液ダレを防止できる。
