本発明は、映像視聴装置の制御装置、その制御方法、プログラムおよび記録媒体に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来のテレビ受像機のリモコンは、テレビ受像機から離れた位置で、そのテレビ受像機を制御する装置であり、従来のテレビ受像機のリモコンの他に、携帯電話機能付リモコン、ＰＤＡ機能付リモコン、腕時計機能付リモコン等のリモコンが知られている。

ＰＤＡは、ＰｅｒｓｏｎａｌＤｉｇｉｔａｌＡｓｓｉｓｔａｎｔ（携帯用個人情報端末）であり、手のひらに収まる程度の大きさの電子機器であり、パソコンのもつ機能のうちのいくつかを実装している端末である。

また、放送システムは、電波放送システム、インターネット放送等の放送システムである。電波放送は、一般の地上波テレビ受像機放送、ラジオ放送、衛星放送、ディジタル衛星放送等、電波を通じて番組を放送する放送形態である。インターネット放送は、インターネットを通じて番組を放送する放送形態である。

テレビ受像機やビデオ記録再生装置等の映像視聴装置は、映像視聴装置１台に、専用リモコンが１台装備されている場合が一般的であり、専用リモコンを操作すると、赤外線信号や電波信号等の無線信号を介して、離れた場所から上記映像視聴装置を制御することができる。

ユーザがテレビ受像機やビデオ記録再生装置等の映像視聴装置を操作する場合、リモコンを用いて操作することが一般的であり、１台のテレビ受像機を複数のユーザが視聴する場合に、リモコンを使用してテレビ受像機のチャンネル、音量等を操作する場合、リモコンを持っているユーザがそのリモコンを操作する。リモコンを持っていないユーザがチャンネル等を操作する場合には、リモコンを持っているユーザに、そのリモコンを借りる必要があり、その都度、リモコンを貸し借りすることは煩雑であるという欠点がある。

この欠点を解消するには、複数のリモコンを使用し、どのリモコンからでも、１台の映像視聴装置を操作することができるようにすればよい。この場合、どのリモコンからでも、常に操作することができるようでは、チャンネルの奪い合いになることがあり、このチャンネルの奪い合いが新たな欠点となる。

この新たな欠点を解消することを目的として、特開２００１−６１１１０公報には、リモコン装置に優先順位を付与し、テレビ受像機の操作性を向上させる方法や、複数のリモコンに付与されている優先度の合計から操作内容を決定する方法が提案されている。

上記従来例における上記「優先順位」は、リモコンに優先度データを付与し、この付与された優先度データに応じて、決定される順位である。また、上記優先度データは、点数と同じように考えられるものであり、その数値（点数）の最も大きい人の優先順位が高くなる。なお、各チャンネルに対する要求数を優先度で重み付けして加算し、最も要求数の多いチャンネルが表示される。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
特開２００１−６１１１０公報記載の方法では、複数のリモコンを用いて１台の映像視聴装置を操作する場合、それぞれのリモコンの優先順位が固定されているので、操作を希望するリモコンに、映像視聴装置を制御する制御権を適切に与えることができないという問題がある。

また、操作を希望するリモコンに、映像視聴装置を制御する制御権を適切に与えることができたとしても、番組終了まで、制御権を確保することができないという問題がある。

本発明は、複数のリモコンを用いて１台の映像視聴装置を操作する場合、番組終了まで、制御権を確保することができ、安心してその番組を視聴することができる映像視聴装置の制御装置、その制御方法、プログラムおよび記録媒体を提供することを目的とするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、複数のリモコンを用いて１台の映像視聴装置を操作する場合、所定のリモコンが、所望の番組を選択して視聴を開始すると、その選択された番組の終了時刻を検出し、その検出された終了時間まで、映像視聴装置を制御する制御権を与える映像視聴装置の制御装置である。

［第１の実施例］
図１は、本発明の第１の実施例である放送システムＢＳ１を示すブロック図である。

放送システムＢＳ１は、第１のリモコンＲＣ１と、第２のリモコンＲＣ２と、第３のリモコンＲＣ３と、映像視聴装置２０と、映像視聴装置２０を制御する制御装置１０とを有する。

リモコンＲＣ１、ＲＣ２、ＲＣ３は、映像視聴装置２０を制御することができるリモコンである。ただし、ある時点では、リモコンＲＣ１、ＲＣ２、ＲＣ３のうちの１つのリモコンのみが、映像視聴装置２０を制御することができる。映像視聴装置２０の制御は、番組の選択、音量の制御、映像視聴装置２０の電源のオン、オフ制御等である。
