本発明はイオン交換樹脂を使用する軟水器に関するものであり、詳しくは軟水器の樹脂層への通水が停止することによって軟水器内の水に硬度分が流出し、硬度分を含んだ水が軟水タンクへ供給されることを防止することのできる軟水器システムに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
ボイラー用給水など水の軟化処理を行う必要がある場合、軟化処理にはイオン交換樹脂の間を通水させることで硬度成分を除去する軟水器が広く使用されている。ところが、この軟水器の場合、樹脂層に通水が行われていないと、樹脂が取り込んでいた硬度分が軟水器内の水に流出してしまい、軟水供給再開時には硬度分を含んだ水が軟水使用機器へ送られることになっていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明が解決しようとする課題は、硬度分を含んだ水が軟水として給水されることを防止することのできる軟水器システムを提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
イオン交換によって原水を軟水とする軟水器、軟水器へ原水を供給する原水配管、軟水器で処理を行った軟水を軟水タンクへ送る軟水配管を持ち、軟水器へは断続的に通水を行う軟水器システムであって、軟水配管途中に分岐配管を接続し、軟水タンクと分岐配管のそれぞれへの通水を制御する通水制御装置を設けることで、軟水器から取り出された水が軟水タンクへ達しないように分岐配管によって水を排水または軟水器の上流側へ循環させることができるようにした軟水器システムにおいて、軟水器への通水を行っていない時間の計時を行うタイマー装置を設けておき、通水を停止してからの時間が設定時間に達すると、軟水器内の水を分岐配管を通して排水または軟水器上流へ循環させる。

通水を停止していることによって軟水器内で硬度分が流出しても、軟水器内の通水が停止してからの時間が設定時間に達するごとに、軟水器内の水を排水または軟水器上流へ循環させて再度軟化処理を行うため、通水を停止していても軟水器内の水に含まれる硬度分は一定度以上となることはなく、通水時に硬度成分が軟水使用機器へ送られることを防止できる。

【実施例】
本発明の一実施例を図面を用いて説明する。図1は請求項1に関する一実施例のフロー図であり、図2はそのタイムチャートである。軟水器(3)へ原水を供給する原水配管(1)と、軟水器(3)から取り出した軟水を軟水タンク(9)へ送る軟水配管(2)を設けており、軟水配管(2)途中に通水制御弁(4)を設ける。軟水器(3)と通水制御弁(4)の間の軟水配管(2)に分岐配管(5)を接続し、分岐配管の他端は軟水器(3)の上流である原水配管(1)に接続しておき、分岐配管(5)には循環ポンプ(6)と逆止弁(7)を設けている。通水の制御はタイマー装置を持った制御装置(8)にて行っており、制御装置(8)は通水制御弁(4)、循環ポンプ(6)、および軟水タンク(9)に設けた水位検出装置(10)と接続している。

軟水タンク(9)に設けた水位検出装置(10)は、水位E1での水の有無を検出しており、水位が水位Eより高い場合には軟水の採水を停止し、水位が水位E1より低い場合には軟水の採水を行う。軟水を採水する場合、制御装置(8)は通水制御弁(4)を開き、循環ポンプ(6)は停止させた状態で軟水器(3)に原水を供給する。軟水器内へ供給した原水は、軟水器(3)内のイオン交換樹脂と接触することで硬度成分が取り除かれて軟水となる。軟水器(3)から取り出された軟水は、軟水配管(2)を通って軟水タンク(9)に溜められ、軟水使用機器(図示せず)は軟水タンク(9)の軟水を使用する。

軟水タンク(9)の水位が上昇し、水位E1で水有りが検出されると、軟水器(3)への通水を停止して、軟水の生成は中断する。制御装置(8)は通水制御弁(4)を閉じ、内部に設けているタイマー装置の稼働を開始する。通水を停止している時間があらかじめ入力されていた設定時間(T)に達すると、制御装置(8)は、通水制御弁(4)を閉じたままで一定時間循環ポンプ(6)を作動させる。循環ポンプ(6)を作動させると、軟水器(3)内にたまっていた水は軟水配管(2)・分岐配管(5)を通って原水配管(1)へ戻される。循環ポンプ(6)を停止し、通水が停止すると、制御装置(8)は再びタイマー装置による計時を行い、その後も設定時間(T)が経過するごとに循環ポンプ(6)を作動させる。通水が停止することによって軟水器(3)内で硬度分が流出しても、硬度分を含んだ水は再び軟水器(3)へ通水することで軟化処理を行うため、軟水の採水を長時間停止していても、軟水器(3)内で硬度分が流出して硬度の高い水が軟水器内にたまっているということはなく、軟水タンク(9)への軟水供給を再開したときには、軟化された軟水のみが送られるので、硬度漏れを起こした水が軟水タンク(9)へ送られることは無くなる。
