【従来の技術】
レンジフードファンには前板と、排気装置を備えたフード体と、フード体に設けた仕切板と、その仕切板先端とフード体の天板部に設けたフィルタ桟に支持されるフィルタとを備え、その前板を排煙の捕捉空間を拡張させるために前方の室床方向に向けて傾斜状にしたタイプが一般的に知られている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、レンジフードファンでは通常、消防法等の適用からフィルタの下端が床面から略160乃至165cm程度の高さとなっている。その結果、前面部も必然的に高い高さに配備される。
その上、前記するタイプのレンジフードファンは、前板が燃焼器具をセットした調理台の上方で前方張出状になる。
そのため、燃焼器具の前に立って操作部を操作しようとする時、操作部が前板で遮られて視線に入らなくなり、操作しずらい。ことに背の低い人や老人等では指が届き難く、操作が一層むずかしくなる。
これを解消すべく図6に示すように前板a2の下縁に幅方向全長に亘って後方傾斜状の帯状取付板a4を固定し、その帯状取付板a4に前方斜め下向きに向けて操作部2を配置したレンジフードファンが既に提案されている。
しかし、この先行例では帯状取付板a4の前板a2への組付のためスポット溶接痕やヒケ部が室内に露呈して外観を害し、また組立を煩雑にしていた。
また、このレンジフードファンは前板a2の前面部a2’の裏面に仕切板a5を幅方向全長に亘って横架し、その仕切板a5の内部に操作部の電装部(スイッチ)を収容し、その仕切板a5を利用して下方照明(ランプ)7を取付けている。
そのため、その仕切板a5の幅方向全長への突出によって排煙の捕捉空間Xが大幅に削減されて排煙捕捉効率が悪くなり、また接続コード(図示せず)がその捕捉空間を横断してフード本体側から配線され、熱と油煙に侵されることからシリコンワニスチューブ等で防護する必要があった。

上記目的を達成するために講じた技術的手段は、前面部が前方の室床方向に傾斜する前板を備え、内部に収容した送風機ユニットの作動及び停止を前記前面部に設けた操作部で操作するレンジフードファンにおいて、前記前板下縁の縁取り部裏面中央部に固定したスイッチ取付台と、そのスイッチ取付台に取付けられたスイッチカバーと、そのスイッチカバーの下端に設けられ前半部で前記縁取り部に対するスイッチ取付台の固定部を表面側からカバーする化粧縁と、前記前板の頂部とスイッチ取付台もしくはスイッチカバーとに亘って縦設され内部をコード配線空間とする配線用縦杆とを備え、該配線用縦杆は、上端部にコード導入部を、またスイッチカバー内に臨む下端部と中途部にコード取出部を各々備え、該配線用縦杆の中途部にランプケースを取付けると共に前記化粧縁の後半部を鉛直状乃至後方下向き傾斜状の角度をもって垂設し、その後半部に前記操作部を配置したことを要旨とする。
また、前記配線用縦杆は、断面ロ型状で内部中空部をコード配線空間を構成するもの、または、断面コ型状を呈し前板裏面にその開放縁が当接してコード配線空間を構成するものとする。
更に、操作部は、押しボタン式、タッチ式等が挙げられる。

本発明は以上のように構成したから、下記の利点がある。
