【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、商品を識別する表示商品コードと、商品の価格である表示価格が付されている商品の売上を管理するＰＯＳシステムに係り、簡単な操作で、適切に、商品に付された表示価格と、ＰＬＵに含まれるＰＬＵ価格とを使い分けるＰＯＳシステムに関する。

【従来の技術】
ＰＯＳシステムのおける価格の決定方法は、流通業者（ｅｘ．小売店）側で設定した価格を用いる場合と、供給業者（ｅｘ．出版社）側で設定した価格を用いる場合とでは、異なる。

流通業者側で設定した価格を用いる場合について説明する。
この場合のＰＯＳシステムは、予め設定されている商品コードであるＰＬＵ商品コードと、予め設定されている商品名であるＰＬＵ商品名と、予め設定されている価格であるＰＬＵ価格とを関連付けて、複数記憶するＰＬＵマスタ記憶部を有する。
ＰＯＳ端末の操作に伴い、商品に付属して記録されている表示商品コードを読み込むと、読み取った表示商品コードと一致するＰＬＵ商品コードを、ＰＬＵマスタ記憶部から検索し、一致したＰＬＵ商品コードと対応付けてＰＬＵマスタ記憶部に記憶されているＰＬＵ価格を用いて、表示や、売上の管理を行う。
尚、表示商品コードは、例えば、バーコードや磁気テープ等を商品の包装や下げ札に付する等の形態で記録されている。

一方、供給業者側で設定した価格を用いる場合について説明する。
この場合には、商品に付属して記録されている表示価格を用いることができる。表示価格は、例えば、表示商品コードと同様の形態で記録されている。
ＰＯＳ端末の操作に伴い、商品に付属して記録されている表示価格を読み込み、読み込んだ表示価格を用いて、表示や、売上の管理を行う。必要に応じて、表示商品コードも読み込み、表示や、売上の管理に用いる。

何れの価格を用いるかは、取引される具体的な商品の流通事情により異なるが、今日までは、いずれかの価格体系に依存していたので、その価格体系のみに対応した方法で足りていた。

しかし今後は、同種の商品であっても、供給業者側で設定した価格と、流通業者側で設定した価格とを使い分ける売上管理の態様が生れる可能性がある。
このような態様に対して、常にＰＬＵ価格を用いるＰＯＳシステムで対応すると、ときに操作者自身が表示価格を用いることを判断し、個別に表示価格を入力しなければならない。一方、常に表示価格を用いるＰＯＳシステムで対応する場合には、ときに操作者自身がＰＬＵ価格を用いることを判断し、ＰＬＵ価格を用いる指示をしなければならない。

このように、操作者自身が多くの商品毎にいずれの価格を用いるか正確に判断することは極めて困難と想像される。また、同じ商品であっても、時期によって用いる価格が異なる場合も考えられ、時期的な条件も考慮して人的に判断することは不可能に近いといえる。

また、例えば雑誌を扱う場合には、異なる年度の同月に発刊された雑誌は当然内容的に全く異なるが、商品コードが同じになり、商品コードから雑誌を特定しきれないという事情がある。このため、同じ商品コードを有する雑誌であっても、年度が異なれば価格も異なるが、機械的に判別するとミスが生じる恐れがある。

このように、読み取った商品コードから、価格を一義的に導けない場合があり、従来のＰＯＳシステムにおいては、誤った価格を用いて売上管理してしまう事態を回避できないという不具合を潜在的に有している。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明は、上記した従来技術の欠点を除くためになされたものであって、その目的とするところは、供給業者側で設定した価格と、流通業者側で設定した価格とを使い分ける商品を扱うＰＯＳシステムを想定し、簡単な操作で、適切に価格を使い分けるＰＯＳシステムを提供することを課題とする。

また、読み取った商品コードから商品を特定できない場合に、何れの商品として扱うかの判断を容易にするＰＯＳシステムを提供することを課題とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
この発明に係るＰＯＳシステムは、商品を識別する表示商品コードと、商品の価格である表示価格とを、読み取り可能な形態で付属して記録している商品の売上を管理するＰＯＳシステムであって、以下の要素を有することを特徴とする。
（１）商品に付属して記録されている表示商品コードを読み取る表示商品コード読み取り部、
（２）商品に付属して記録されている表示価格を読み取る表示価格読み取り部、
（３）予め設定されている商品コードであるＰＬＵ商品コードと、予め設定されている価格であるＰＬＵ価格とを関連付けて、複数記憶するＰＬＵマスタ記憶部、
（４）読み取った表示商品コードと一致するＰＬＵ商品コードを、ＰＬＵマスタ記憶部から検索する商品コード検索部、
（５）一致するＰＬＵ商品コードがなかった場合に、表示価格を用いることを決定し、一致するＰＬＵ商品コードがあった場合に、一致したＰＬＵ商品コードと対応付けてＰＬＵマスタ記憶部に記憶されているＰＬＵ価格を用いることを決定する決定部。

（６）表示価格と、商品コード検索部により検索したＰＬＵ商品コードと対応付けてＰＬＵマスタ記憶部に記憶されているＰＬＵ価格のうちいずれかの価格を表示し、更に、切換指示が入力された場合に、表示価格とＰＬＵ価格とを切り換えて表示する表示部。

（２）商品に付属して記録されている表示価格を読み取る表示価格読み取り工程、
（３）読み取った表示商品コードと一致するＰＬＵ商品コードを、ＰＬＵマスタ記憶部から検索する商品コード検索工程、

（４）一致するＰＬＵ商品コードがなかった場合に、表示価格を用いることを決定し、一致するＰＬＵ商品コードがあった場合に、一致したＰＬＵ商品コードと対応付けてＰＬＵマスタ記憶部に記憶されているＰＬＵ価格を用いることを決定する決定処理。

【発明の実施の形態】
実施の形態１．
以下本発明を図面に示す実施例に基づいて説明する。
図１は、本発明におけるＰＯＳシステムの装置構成の例を示す図である。
１は、本部サーバ、２は、ＰＯＳサーバ、３と４は、ＰＯＳ端末である。

本部サーバ１は、各店舗に設置されたＰＯＳサーバ２へＰＬＵマスタを配信し、ＰＯＳサーバ２は、本部サーバ１へ売上データを送るように構成されている。

ＰＯＳ端末３、４は、バーコードリーダやキー群等の入力手段と、表示部や印刷部等の出力手段を備えている。また、ＰＬＵマスタの検索要求や売上データを送信し、ＰＬＵマスタの検索結果を受信する通信部を備えている。

この例では、これらのうち、商品コード検索部１３とＰＬＵマスタ記憶部１４がＰＯＳサーバ２に備えられ、他のモジュールは、ＰＯＳ端末３、４に備えられている。但し、このような実装の形態に限らず、各モジュールは、ＰＯＳシステムの何れの装置に備えられていても構わない。たとえば、商品コード検索部１３をＰＯＳ端末３、４で備えるようにしてもよい。

図３は、商品に付属して表示商品コードと表示価格を記録している態様の例を示す図である。この例では、商品は書籍である。５は、表示商品コードを含むバーコード、６は、表示価格を含むバーコードである。
このように、書籍の場合には、背表紙や、カバーにバーコードの形式で印刷されている。但し、バーコードに限らず、読み取り可能な数字や、磁気テープ等で記録されていても有効である。また、記録する対象は、商品そのもの、商品の包装、あるいは、下げ札やタグのようなものでもよい。

１レコードは、商品毎に設けられている。各レコードには、ＰＬＵ商品コード、ＰＬＵ商品名、ＰＬＵ価格の項目が設けられている。

図５は、実施の形態１におけるＰＯＳシステムの動作フローの例を示す図である。

表示商品コード読み取り部１１は、バーコードリーダから表示商品コードを含むバーコードを読み、表示商品コードを取得する（Ｓ５０１）。また、表示価格読み取り部１２は、同じく表示価格を含むバーコードを読み、表示価格を取得する（Ｓ５０２）。但し、Ｓ５０２の処理は、必ずしもこの時点で行われる必要はなく、Ｓ５０６に至る時までに行われていれば足りる。

次に、決定部１５は、表示商品コードを含む検索要求を商品コード検索部１３に送り、商品コード検索部１３は、表示商品コードと一致するＰＬＵ商品コードをＰＬＵマスタ記憶部１４から検索する（Ｓ５０３）。

検索の結果、一致するＰＬＵ商品コードがない場合には（Ｓ５０４）、決定部１５は、表示商品コードと表示価格を用いることを決定する。商品名入力部１６は、商品名（あるいは商品分類）を入力し（Ｓ５０５）、表示部１７は、入力した商品名（あるいは商品分類）と表示価格を表示する（Ｓ５０６）。また、売上データ記憶部１８は、表示商品コードと入力した商品名（あるいは商品分類）と表示価格を記憶する（Ｓ５０７）。

他方、検索の結果、一致するＰＬＵ商品コードがある場合には（Ｓ５０４）、決定部１５は、ＰＬＵ商品コードとＰＬＵ商品名とＰＬＵ価格を用いることを決定する。表示部１７は、一致したＰＬＵ商品コードに対応するＰＬＵ商品名とＰＬＵ価格を表示し（Ｓ５０８）、売上データ記憶部１８は、ＰＬＵ商品コードとＰＬＵ商品名とＰＬＵ価格を記憶する（Ｓ５０９）。

売上データ記憶部１８に記憶された売上データは、合算され、代金の清算に用いられる。このとき、レシートや領収書として印刷されることもある。更に、通信手段によりＰＯＳサーバ２に送信され、売上実績として集計される。

以上のように本実施の形態では、表示商品コードと一致するＰＬＵ商品コードがなかった場合に、表示価格を用いることを決定し、ＰＬＵ商品コードがあった場合に、対応するＰＬＵ価格を用いることを決定する。
