【発明の属する技術分野】
この発明は遊技球を使用するパチンコ機やメダルを使用するスロットマシーン等のような遊技機の外枠に用いられるコーナー止め具に関する。

【従来の技術】
パチンコ機の外枠は上下に相対峙する一対のブナ材のような木材からなる横板部と、左右に相対峙する一対のブナ材のような木材からなる縦板部とで、遊技板を取り込むための収容空間を角形に形成しており、前枠が組みつけられた状態でパチンコ店の島にはめ込まれて釘で取り付けられる。この外枠の各角部にはコーナー止め具が用いられている。このコーナー止め具は外枠の横板部の内側面と外枠の縦板部の内側面との双方に跨がってあてがわれており、ねじが外側より横板部や縦板部を貫通して止め具に締結されることにより、止め具が横板部と縦板部とを直交した突き合わせ状態で一体に結合している。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、外枠には、遊技板に多数の遊技釘や入賞口及び役物等を有するゲージ盤、発光表示部や役物を制御する電気回路ユニット、賞球機構、上皿セット、下皿セット、玉発射装置等の各種機能部品の全部が組みつけられており、その組みつけ総重量は18〜20kg程度になるのが一般的である。このようなことから、コーナー止め具としては、板厚1.2mmの鉄板に金型を押し付けるプレス加工を施すことで、所定のコーナ形状に形成されている。このため、金属製の止め具を製作するには、プレス加工時に発生する衝撃や騒音及び振動が付近住民に公害を与えないようにする大掛かりな付帯設備を必要とし、コストダウンを図るにも限度がある。

そこで、この発明は衝撃や騒音及び振動等の防止を図る大掛かり付帯設備を用いることなく、外枠の横板部と縦板部との結合を図り、品質信頼性を向上することができる遊技機のコーナー止め具を提供しようとするものである。また、遊技機が使用済みとなった場合に、その遊技機をセメントプラントに有効に活用し得る遊技機のコーナー止め具を提供しようとする目的も有する。

【課題を解決するための手段】

【発明の実施の形態】

一方、前記のように止め具10〜13を用いて組み立てられた外枠1には、図2に示すように、前枠30が開閉可能に装着される。この前枠30には上皿セット31、玉発射装置のグリップ32を有する下皿セット33、トップランプカバー等のような前飾り34及びガラス35を取り付けてあり、前枠30を閉じることにより、前枠30が外枠1の前板6よりも上方の収容空間9を閉鎖、被覆する。また、上皿セット31とガラス35とを前枠30より前方に開いて、図外のゲージ盤を前枠30に形成された窓30aより前枠30の内部に挿入して、前枠30に組みつけられたバックプレート36に装着する。そして、上皿セット31とガラス35とを前枠30に対して閉じると共に、前枠30を外枠1に対して閉じて、上皿セット31に図外の遊技球を入れ、グリップを遊技者が一方向に回転操作することにより、パチンコ遊技を行うことが可能となる。また、外枠1の前板6の前面には化粧板37が取り付けられている。この化粧板37は前板6の前面及び横板部3の前端面に重ね合わされた状態において、ねじ14と同様な図外のねじを枠体1の裏側より止め具12,13の前側壁24及び前板6を貫通して化粧板37に締結することにより、枠体1に固定されている。この化粧板37を締結したねじの先端は化粧板37の前面に未突出な状態になっている。
