Description

【0001】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a wiring structure of a hood opener cable used for opening and closing a front hood of a vehicle.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The hood opener cable routing structure used to open and close the front hood of the vehicle is disclosed in FIGS. 6, 7, and 8 and Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 63-159383.
As shown in FIG. 6, the hood opener cable 8 is connected to a latch 10 whose one end is fixed to the center member 9 to open and close a front hood of a vehicle (not shown), passes through the rear side of the upper member 11, and further The other end is connected to the vicinity of the driver's seat in the passenger compartment (not shown) through the front hood (not shown).
As shown in FIGS. 6, 7, and 8, the direction in which the hood opener cable 8 connected to the latch 10 is routed differs depending on whether the vehicle has a right handle specification or a left handle specification. In FIG. 6, the hood opener cable 8 with a right-hand drive specification of the vehicle is indicated by a solid line, and the cable 8 with a left-hand drive specification is indicated by a two-dot chain line. Further, not only the upper member 11 but also a radiator grill 12 and a heat shield plate 13 attached to the radiator grill 12 are provided at the front portion of the hood opener cable 8.
However, in the above routing method, since the hood opener cable 8 is laid out behind the upper member 11, the cable 8 is visible when the engine room is opened, and the appearance is poor. Furthermore, since a radiator (not shown) is usually fixed to the rear part of the upper member 11, the cable 8 and the radiator interfere with each other, which is not preferable in terms of layout.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
An object of the present invention is to provide a structure in which a hood opener cable and a radiator do not have to worry about interference with each other in a hood opener cable routing structure.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, in a hood opener cable routing structure in which one end is connected to a latch provided in the center member and routed through the engine room and into the vehicle interior, the upper end of the center member is fixed, and An upper member having a substantially U-shaped cross-section with oblique sides directed toward the rear of the vehicle at both ends and an open lower portion is provided, and a fixing member for fixing the hood opener cable is provided on the inside of the upper member and on the oblique sides. The hood opener cable is routed along the inside of the rear side surface of the upper member, and the depth of the rear side surface at both ends of the upper member is shallower than that of the rear side surface other than both ends. The engine is opened from the inside of the upper member through the lower side of the rear side surface of the hood opener cable formed shallowly. Characterized by being routed in the over arm.
[0005]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an example of an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a front part of a vehicle using the present invention, FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing a main part of the present invention, and FIG. 3 shows a relationship between an upper member and a hood opener cable according to the present invention. 4 is a cross-sectional view taken along line IV-IV in FIG. 3, and FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view taken along line VV in FIG.
A front hood 2 is provided at the front of the vehicle 1. In order to open and close the front hood 2, a striker (not shown) provided on the front hood 2 and a latch 4 fixed to the center member 3 are provided (see FIGS. 1 and 2). Further, a hood opener cable 5 connects the latch 4 and the vicinity of a driver seat in a vehicle compartment (not shown) so that the driver can easily open and close the front hood 2.
[0006]
One end of the hood opener cable 5 is connected to the latch 4, passes through the inside of the upper member 6, and is held inside the upper member 6 by a fixing member 7. Thereafter, the hood opener cable 5 enters the engine room from the end 6a of the upper member 6, is routed along a front fender (not shown), and is laid out in the vicinity of the driver seat in the passenger compartment. . The upper member 6 has a substantially U-shaped cross-sectional shape with an open lower portion. Further, the depth of the rear side surface portion 6b constituting a part of the substantially U-shaped cross section is shallower at the upper member both end portions 6a than the other portions (the length of FIG. 5). See T). Furthermore, both end portions 6a of the upper member 6 have oblique sides 6c that extend toward the rear of the vehicle. Therefore, the hood opener cable 5 held on the inner side of the rear side surface 6b of the upper member 6 is smoothly illustrated in the rear side of the vehicle by the shallow rear side surface 6b and the oblique side 6c toward the rear of the vehicle. Can be routed to the front fender that does not.
[0007]
The fixing member 7 used to hold the hood opener cable 5 to the upper member 6 is provided in two places, that is, the central portion and the oblique side portion 6c of the upper member 6 in the above embodiment. There may be only one place on the oblique side portion 6c, and other places of use and the number of uses can be appropriately changed according to the vehicle.
In the above embodiment, the hood opener cable routing structure for the left steering wheel has been described, but the same structure can be used for a right steering wheel vehicle.
The fixing member 7 is not limited to the structure of the above embodiment, and any clamps and bands that can generally hold cables can be used.
[0008]
【The invention's effect】
The hood opener cable is held inside the upper member, so it looks better and can contribute to improved product quality.
Since the hood opener cable is held inside the upper member, there is no risk of interference with other engine accessories such as a radiator in the engine room.
Since the oblique members are provided at both ends of the upper member and the fixing member for holding the hood opener cable is provided at the oblique member, the hood opener cable can be smoothly routed to the rear of the vehicle. This contributes to improved durability and durability of the hood opener cable.
The depth of the rear side of both upper member ends is shallower than the depth of the rear side other than both ends of the upper member, so the hood opener cable can be easily routed from the upper member to the rear of the vehicle. Therefore, it can contribute to improving workability and durability of the hood opener cable.
