【0007】
Figure 0003748822
Figure 0003748822
【0008】

[0005]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
A novel microorganism belonging to the species Bacillus cereus according to the present invention is deposited as Bacillus cereus CCC-b (deposit number: FERM P-16176) at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology Patent Organism Depositary.
[0006]
Hereinafter, the mycological properties of Bacillus cereus CCC-b will be described.
[0007]
Figure 0003748822
Figure 0003748822
[0008]
Based on the above bacteriological properties, this bacterium belongs to the genus Bacillus, is facultative anaerobic, and is determined to be a bacterium belonging to the Bacillus cereus species from the yolk reaction: +, but this Bacillus cereus CCC- Since b showed an atypical property that starch was not decomposed, it was determined to be a new bacterium.
The Bacillus cereus CCC-b grows well in any medium that is a general nutrient medium.
[0009]
The culture preferably grows well at about 15 to 45 ° C.
[0010]
This Bacillus cereus CCC-b can be dispersed in water or a liquid medium and used for various purposes in the form of a dispersion. Preferably, the microorganism group is immobilized on a carrier and is used as a carrier-immobilized microorganism group that facilitates handling. Use.
[0011]
As a carrier for immobilizing a microorganism group, it is preferable that the retention capacity of the microorganism is large and the activation of the microorganism is easy.
[0012]
As the carrier, rocks (for example, pearlite, diatomaceous earth) or a pulverized product thereof, gravel, sand, plastics, ceramics (for example, alumina, silica, natural zeolite, synthetic zeolite), talc and the like are also preferable. A porous material having continuous ventilation holes such as porous plastics is preferred. For example, a fine powder (trade name: pearlite) obtained by holding a pearlite pulverized product at a high temperature and high pressure and heat-treating and then rapidly reducing the pressure to make it porous is preferable because it has the property of causing fungi to grow. In such a porous material, the diameter of the vent is preferably about 2 to 10 μm. The carrier may have any properties such as a lump, granule, powder, fine powder or plate, needle, etc., but preferably has an average particle size of 2 mm or less, particularly 50 μm to 1 mm. Good granular material. Such a carrier-immobilized microorganism group may be used by being stored in a container having good water permeability or air permeability such as a cloth or a net as necessary.
[0013]
In addition to these, a ribbon-like or sheet-like woven fabric or non-woven fabric can be used as the carrier.
[0014]
In order to support the microorganism group on such a carrier, the carrier and the microorganism group dispersion of the present invention are mixed and then dried, but the microorganism group may be directly cultured on the carrier.
[0015]
Loading amount of microorganisms in the carrier varies depending on the conditions at the time of loading, preferably, 5 to 200 billion pieces / cm 3, preferably 10 to 100 billion pieces / cm 3.
[0016]
By using this Bacillus cereus CCC-b, a deodorizing effect was confirmed in pig farms and public toilets. In addition, this Bacillus cereus CCC-b was able to effectively decompose organic matter in the wastewater, and further, a recovery function of metals such as phosphorus was confirmed.
[0017]
The safety of Bacillus cereus CCC-b was confirmed by an oral administration test using mice.
[0018]
【Example】
Next, examples of the present invention will be described.
First, a medium having the following composition was prepared.
Medium Peptone 5g
5g meat extract
Nacl 2.5g
500 ml of water (pH 7.0)
The medium having the above composition was put into a 1000 ml container, inoculated with Bacillus cereus CCC-b, stirred well, allowed to stand and cultured at 30 ° C. for 1 day.
The obtained culture broth was centrifuged to separate the cells, washed thoroughly, and attached to a carrier to obtain a powder. The carrier used was baked and pulverized diatomaceous earth.
[0019]
When this powdery Bacillus cereus CCC-b was sprinkled on a piece of rotten straw and smelled after 2 hours, the odor was clearly reduced.
Reference experiment The powdery Bacillus cereus CCC-b was inoculated into the object to be weighed, and the changes over time in COD, total nitrogen amount and total phosphorus amount were measured. The test method was carried out according to JIS 0102-17 for COD, JIS 0102-45.2 for total nitrogen, and JIS 0102-46.2 for total phosphorus. As an object to be measured, a solution obtained by adding 0.2 g of starch per liter to 100 times of milk in seawater was used. The one as it was was used as a comparative example, and the one inoculated with Bacillus cereus CCC-b was used as an example. The test was conducted at 20 ° C. Moreover, in measuring each amount, the liquid to be measured was allowed to stand for 2 hours, and the supernatant was used as a test liquid.
The test results are shown in Table 1. In the test, two samples were prepared for each, and the average was used as the measured value.
[0020]
[Table 1]
Figure 0003748822
[0021]
As can be seen from Table 1, it was found that Bacillus cereus CCC-b has a function of purifying water and has an action of removing metals.
Thus, Bacillus cereus CCC-b is a very useful novel microorganism having the deodorizing function, the organic matter decomposing function, and the metal removing function confirmed in the above experiment.
