本発明は、粗圧延されたシートバーを接合して連続して仕上げ圧延する連続圧延設備の接合装置の台車走行車輪に関する。

従来の鋼板の熱間圧延ラインでは、スラブを加熱炉で加熱し、粗圧延機で圧延し、得られたシートバーを仕上圧延機で圧延して所望の板厚になるように圧延処理していた。この熱間圧延ラインでは、シートバーをひとつずつ分けて圧延処理するので、作業効率が良くなかった。

そこで、最近、特開平8−192206号公報に記載されているように、粗圧延機を出たシートバーの先端部と先行するシートバーの後端部とを接合装置で接合し、これを仕上圧延機に連続的に供給して仕上げ圧延を行うようにした連続圧延ラインが開発されている。前記連続圧延ラインの接合装置においては、先行するシートバーの後端部と後行のシートバー先端部とが接合される。即ち、先行するシートバーの後端部は、接合装置の出側フレームのクランプ板によって挟持されるとともに、後行するシートバーの先端部は入側フレームのクランプ板によって挟持される。そして、両シートバーは、油圧シリンダによって接触部分が加圧され、この状態で誘導加熱装置に誘導電流を通電すると、その接触部分に渦電流が周回して半溶融状態となり、一体に接合される。接合の際、接合装置は台車により移動する。
