Description
【0001】
【0020】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an oily cosmetic containing a pearlescent pigment obtained by coating the surface of glass flakes with a metal oxide and a gelling agent. More specifically, the present invention has high transparency and pearly appearance. Furthermore, the present invention relates to an oily cosmetic that can give a glossy feeling and a glittering feeling at the time of application.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, oily cosmetics such as lipstick, eye color and teak have been used. These are dextrin palmitate, 12-hydroxystearic acid, fumed silica, crosslinked methylpolysiloxane, organically modified clay mineral, metal It has been prepared by adding a colorant or a pearlescent pigment to a base base prepared with soap, wax or the like.
[0003]
In particular, transparent to translucent oily cosmetics using dextrin palmitate, 12-hydroxystearic acid, fumed silica, metal soap, etc. as a base base are preferred for their transparent appearance. As for cosmetics, further improvement of appearance color, coloring effect at the time of application, and expansion of the color gamut are being studied by using coloring agents and bright objects.
[0004]
However, when a pearly luster pigment is added to the oily cosmetic having the above-described translucent to transparent appearance, it is difficult to obtain a cosmetic exhibiting both a transparent appearance and a pearly appearance. One reason for this is that the white powder of the pearl luster pigment matrix powder appears on the surface of the pearl luster pigment, which makes the cosmetics opaque. In addition, when a pearlescent pigment whose base powder is mica is used in an oily cosmetic, the pearlescent pigment becomes dull and gray due to the oil in the cosmetic, so that a pearly feeling cannot be obtained during appearance and application. This is another reason.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Therefore, it has been desired to provide an oily cosmetic that has both a pearly appearance and a transparent appearance that are excellent in appearance even when a pearlescent pigment is added, and that can be given a glossy feeling by application.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In view of the above situation, as a result of intensive studies, the present inventors have found that if a pearlescent pigment having a glass flake surface coated with a metal oxide and a gelling agent are blended in an oily cosmetic base, a high transparency The present inventors have found that an oily cosmetic that has a pearly appearance and can give a glossy feeling upon application can be obtained.
[0007]
That is, the present invention relates to a pearlescent pigment having an average thickness of 0.1 to 3.0 μm, an average particle diameter of 1 to 700 μm, and an aspect ratio of 5 to 500, wherein the glass flake surface is coated with a metal oxide. An oily cosmetic comprising a gelling agent is provided.
[0008]
Moreover, this invention provides the oil-based cosmetics characterized by the external appearance of the said cosmetics being translucent-transparent.
[0009]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The pearlescent pigment used in the oily cosmetic composition of the present invention has glass flakes as a base material and the surface thereof is coated with a metal oxide. Glass flake here is obtained by pulverizing a glass film containing about 45 to 75% by mass (hereinafter, simply referred to as “%”) of silica (SiO 2 ). Examples of the glass flakes include those produced by the melting method, and more specifically, those produced by the method described in Japanese Patent Publication Nos. 41-17148 and 45-3541. It can be illustrated.
[0010]
The glass flake obtained by the above method cools and solidifies the molten glass having a free surface, so that the surface is very smooth, and is amorphous and has no cleavage, so that almost no level difference occurs on the surface. Absent. Moreover, since it has some flexibility compared to silica glass containing 80% or more of silica, it is not easily crushed and is suitable for blending into cosmetics.
[0011]
In terms of shape, a glass film having an average thickness of 0.1 to 3.0 μm is crushed and classified, and an average particle diameter of 1 to 700 μm, an average thickness of 0.1 to 3.0 μm, and an aspect ratio of 5 to 500 are obtained. Glass flakes can be obtained.
[0012]
The glass used as a raw material of the glass flakes may contain any composition as long as it contains silica in the above-described range and can be melt-molded. Examples include soda lime glass, S glass, E glass, and C glass. In particular, C glass is more preferable because it hardly causes a step on the surface and easily obtains smoothness.
[0013]
The pearlescent pigment used in the present invention has an average thickness of 0.1 to 3.0 μm, an average particle diameter of 1 to 700 μm, and an aspect ratio of 5 to 500 after the surface of the glass flake is coated with a metal oxide. It is what is. Regarding the average thickness, it is difficult to make the glass flake thinner than 0.1 μm because of the manufacturing technique. On the other hand, if the glass flake is thicker than 3.0 μm, it feels rough and is not preferable in terms of touch.
[0014]
In addition, when the average particle size is less than 1 μm, sufficient glitter cannot be obtained, while when it is greater than 700 μm, the rough feeling becomes strong and the gloss becomes too strong to become unnatural, which is also preferable. is not.
[0015]
Further, when the aspect ratio is less than 5, the feeling of spreading on the skin is poor, while when the aspect ratio is greater than 500, the fit to the skin is poor and the appearance of the metal coating is also highly glossy. This is not preferable for the present invention. Here, the “aspect ratio” refers to a value obtained by dividing the average particle size of the glass flakes by the average thickness.
[0016]
By coating this glass flake with a metal oxide, it is possible to obtain a pearl luster pigment having a luster similar to that of a pearl in appearance, but as the metal oxide used for this coating, titania (TiO 2 ), zirconia ( ZrO 2 ) and metal oxides such as iron oxide. As a method for forming a coating with a metal oxide, a known technique may be used. For example, a method described in Japanese Patent Publication No. 43-25644 and Japanese Patent Publication No. 47-34529 can be used. Specifically, glass flakes are suspended in a titanyl sulfate solution or a titanium tetrachloride solution, and titania is precipitated by raising the temperature of such a solution, thereby providing a coating on the glass flakes. However, the method is not limited to this method, and there is no particular limitation as long as the method can form a thin film on the glass flakes.
[0017]
In the above pearlescent pigment, an arbitrary color tone due to interference can be expressed by controlling the thickness of the coating on the glass flake. The thickness of this coating is preferably 20 to 250 nm. When the thickness is less than 20 nm, it is difficult for the glittering feeling to appear. On the other hand, when it is thicker than 250 nm, the glittering appearance having an appropriate transparency may not be obtained. Since the film has such a small thickness, the thickness of the glass flake and the pearlescent pigment is not much different.
[0018]
On the other hand, the gelling agent used in the oily cosmetic of the present invention may be any gelling agent as long as it forms a gel by dissolving, dispersing or swelling in the oil, and is not particularly limited. Specific examples of the gelling agent include natural or synthetic clay minerals such as montmorillonite, hectorite and bentonite, cationic surfactants such as dimethyldioctadecyl ammonium chloride, or the cationic surfactant and stearylamide. Organic modified clay minerals modified with a complex with a nonionic surfactant, fumed silica, hydrophobized fumed silica, polysaccharide fatty acid esters such as dextrin fatty acid ester, sucrose fatty acid ester, starch fatty acid ester, 12-hydroxystearic acid , Metal soaps such as calcium stearate, aluminum stearate, and aluminum myristate, highly polymerized methyl polysiloxane, and cross-linked methyl polysiloxane. These gelling agents can be used alone or in combination of two or more. In particular, as a gelling agent for obtaining a highly transparent base base, one or more of polysaccharide fatty acid ester, 12-hydroxystearic acid and metal soap can be used.
[0019]
Furthermore, the oil component used in the oily cosmetic composition of the present invention includes hydrocarbons, regardless of the origin, such as animal oil, vegetable oil, synthetic oil, and the properties of solid oil, semi-solid oil, liquid oil, volatile oil, etc. , Silicone oils, oils and fats, waxes, hardened oils, ester oils, fatty acids, higher alcohols, fluorine-based oils, lanolin derivatives and the like. Specifically, hydrocarbons such as light liquid isoparaffin, liquid paraffin, squalane, petrolatum, polyisobutylene, polybutene, oils such as olive oil, castor oil, jojoba oil, mink oil, macadamian nut oil, paraffin wax, micro Petroleum waxes such as crystallin wax, mineral waxes such as ozokerite and ceresin, natural waxes such as carnauba wax and candelilla wax, cetyl isooctanoate, isopropyl myristate, isopropyl palmitate, octyldodecyl myristate, glyceryl trioctanoate, diisostearate Polyglyceryl acid, diglyceryl triisostearate, glyceryl tribehenate, rosin acid pentaerythritol ester, neopentyl glycol dioctanoate, cholesterol fatty acid Esters such as stealth, stearic acid, lauric acid, myristic acid, behenic acid, isostearic acid, oleic acid, fatty acids such as 12-hydroxystearic acid, stearyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, lauryl alcohol, oleyl alcohol, isostearyl alcohol, Higher alcohols such as behenyl alcohol, low polymerization dimethylpolysiloxane, decamethylcyclopentasiloxane, octamethylcyclosiloxane, high polymerization dimethylpolysiloxane, methylphenylpolysiloxane, polyether-modified polysiloxane, polyoxyalkylene, alkylmethylpoly Siloxanes / methylpolysiloxane copolymers, alkoxy-modified polysiloxanes, silicones such as fluorine-modified polysiloxanes, perfluorodecane, perful Rookutan, fluorine-based oils such perfluoropolyether or the like, lanolin, lanolin acetate, lanolin fatty acid isopropyl, and the like lanolin derivatives such as lanolin alcohol. When the appearance of the oily cosmetic composition of the present invention is translucent to transparent, one or more of the above oily components can be used in a blending amount that does not impair translucency to transparency.
[0020]
The oily cosmetic of the present invention is prepared by blending the above-mentioned pearlescent pigment and a gelling agent in an oily component. Among these, the compounding amount of the pearlescent pigment is preferably 0.05 to 50% in the composition, and more preferably 0.05 to 30% in order to provide a more transparent oily cosmetic. Moreover, as a compounding quantity of a gelatinizer, 0.01 to 40% is preferable and 0.1 to 20% is more preferable.
[0021]
In the present invention, cosmetic powders other than the above essential components can be blended as optional components as required. Examples of cosmetic powders that can be blended include powders usually blended into cosmetics, such as inorganic powders, organic powders, pigment powders, and composite powders. The shape of the powder may be spherical, plate-like, or needle-like, and is particularly limited by the particle size such as fumes, fine particles, and pigment grade, and the particle structure such as porous and nonporous. It is not something. Examples of specific powders include talc, kaolin, synthetic mica, magnesium carbonate, calcium carbonate, aluminum silicate, magnesium silicate, magnesium magnesium silicate, anhydrous silicic acid, barium sulfate, zinc oxide, aluminum oxide, boron nitride And inorganic powders such as nylon powder, polyethylene powder, silicone powder, methyl methacrylate, polytetrafluoroethylene powder, wool powder, silk powder, urethane powder, crystalline cellulose, boron nitride and the like. In addition, as colored powders, inorganic powders such as koji, ultramarine, red iron oxide, yellow iron oxide, black iron oxide, titanium oxide, zinc oxide, chromium oxide, chromium hydroxide, carbon black, barium sulfate, organic tar type Examples thereof include pigment powders, pigment powders such as lake pigments of organic pigments, and the like, and these can be combined as needed, or one or more can be used.
[0022]
Furthermore, these cosmetic powders may be surface-treated with fluorine compounds, silicone compounds, metal soaps, waxes, fats and oils, surfactants, hydrocarbons, etc. Examples of the compound include fluorine compounds such as perfluoroalkyl silane, perfluoroalkyl phosphate diethanolamine salt, perfluoropolyether (derivative), and silicone oils such as methyl hydrogen polysiloxane and methyl polysiloxane. . These treatments can use one kind or two or more kinds of treatment agents.
[0023]
In the oily cosmetic composition of the present invention, various components such as a surfactant, an ultraviolet absorber, an aqueous component, a moisturizing agent, a film forming agent, and anti-fading are further included in the range that does not impair the effects of the present invention. An agent, an antioxidant, an antifoaming agent, a cosmetic ingredient, an antiseptic, a fragrance, and the like can be appropriately blended to impart various effects.
[0024]
Among the above components, examples of the ultraviolet absorber include benzophenone series, PABA series, cinnamic acid series, salicylic acid series, 4-tert-butyl-4′-methoxydibenzoylmethane, and oxybenzone.
