Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to passenger conveyors such as escalators and electric roads.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In general, a passenger conveyor has a main frame composed of left and right side frames and horizontal members connecting the left and right side frames in a building as disclosed in, for example, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 3-124692. The main frame supports a plurality of treads that are connected endlessly and circulates, a balustrade erected at positions corresponding to both sides of the treads, and a moving handrail that moves around the periphery of the balustrade. ing.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The above-mentioned conventional pseudo-technique does not give any consideration to reducing the installation space of the passenger conveyor. Therefore, even when trying to renew the passenger conveyor that has passed about 20 years after installation, the passenger conveyor having the same step size must be installed. Did not get.
[0004]
The objective of this invention is providing the passenger conveyor which can reduce installation space, especially the installation space of the width direction.
[0005]
Another object of the present invention is to provide a passenger conveyor that can be installed within the same installation dimensions and expanded in the width direction during renewal.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention has a side frame that includes an upper chord member, a lower chord member, and a vertical member that connects them, forming a step portion on the upper portion of the vertical member, The moving handrail is guided below the upper chord material and arranged so that the vertical projection of the moving handrail and the side frame overlap .
[0007]
With the above configuration, the left and right space portions that existed between the widthwise ends of the tread board and the side frame body can be greatly reduced, and as a result, the width dimension of the passenger conveyor is reduced. can do.
[0008]
The fact that the size in the width direction of the passenger conveyor can be reduced means that if the installation dimensions are the same, there is a margin in the width direction, in other words, it is possible to adopt a tread with an expanded width direction size. Yes, the renewal can increase the transport capacity of the passenger conveyor.
[0009]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described based on the escalator shown in FIGS.
[0010]
The escalator 1 has a main frame 2 installed across the upper floor UF and the lower floor LF of the building. The main frame 2 includes left and right side frames 3 and lateral members 4 that connect these side frames 3. The side frame 3 includes an upper chord member 5 extending in the longitudinal direction of the escalator 1, a lower chord member 6 positioned below the upper chord member 5, and a vertical member 7 that connects the upper chord member 5 and the lower chord member. And is composed of.
[0011]
The main frame 2 configured as described above has guide rails 8 for guiding a step, which will be described later, fixed to both inner side portions thereof. The step 9 includes a step frame 10 and a step plate 11 that is horizontally fixed to the step frame 10, and includes a pair of front wheels 12 and a rear wheel 13 that protrude from both ends of the step frame 10 in the width direction. Has wheels. These wheels roll on the guide rail 7 and travel so that the tread 11 is always kept horizontal on the outward path side.
[0012]
Moreover, a balustrade 14 is erected on the upper part of the left and right side frames 3 via a fixture. The balustrade 14 includes a balustrade panel 15 made of, for example, a tempered glass panel, a handrail frame 16 fixed to the periphery of the balustrade panel 15, and an endless moving handrail 17 guided to be movable to the handrail frame 16. The base of the balustrade panel 15 is covered with an inner deck cover 18 and an outer deck cover 19. A skirt guard 20 that divides the inside of the inner deck cover 18 and the outer deck cover 19 and the end of the step 9 extends vertically from the lower portion of the inner deck cover 18. Further, the moving handrail 17 changes direction on one side of both ends in the longitudinal direction of the balustrade 14 and enters inside the inner deck cover 18 and the outer deck cover 19, and on the other side of both ends in the longitudinal direction of the balustrade 14 It appears outside the cover 18 and the outer deck cover 19. The moving handrail 17 travels on the outer side of the inner deck cover 18 and the outer deck cover 19 on the outward path, and travels on the inner side of the inner deck cover 18 and the outer deck cover 19 on the return path.
[0013]
In the step 9, the shaft of the front wheel 12 is connected to a step chain 21, and this step chain 21 is wound around a drive sprocket 22 supported in the upper machine chamber of the main frame 2, and the lower part of the main frame 2. It is wound around a driven wheel 23 that is pivotally supported in the machine room. The driving sprocket 22 is transmitted with a rotational force by a driving machine 24 installed in the vicinity thereof.
[0014]
In the escalator 1 configured as described above, the vertical projection of the moving handrail 17 is arranged so as to overlap the side frame 3 in the direction along the width of the step 9 by L dimension, and the moving handrail 17 thus arranged has the step 8. The wheels are arranged so that the vertical projections of the front wheels 12, particularly the front wheels 12, overlap. The moving handrail 17 in which the vertical projection overlaps the side frame 3 is a moving handrail 17 that travels at least on the return path side.
[0015]
More specifically, a step portion 7A is formed on the upper portion of the vertical member 7 so that the vertical projection of the moving handrail 17 overlaps in the direction along the step width of the upper chord member 5 of the side frame 3, and interference with the moving handrail 17 is prevented. Avoid. In addition, the end of the step 9 is positioned on the side frame side by placing the front wheel 12 of the step closer to the direction along the step width with respect to the moving handrail 17 arranged as described above and further overlapping the vertical projection. To approach. However, if the vertical projections overlap the front wheel 12 so that the center thereof is shifted to the L 0 dimension closer to the side frame 3 than the center of the moving handrail 17, the end of the step 9 is further on the side frame 3 side. It will approach.
[0016]
As described above, according to the present embodiment, the moving handrail 17 can be brought closer to the side frame 3, so that the skirt guard can be used against the moving handrail 17 on the return path inside the inner deck cover 18 and the outer deck cover 19. 20 is allowed to approach, and this time, by shifting the center of the front wheel 12 of the step 9 to the side frame 3 side of the center of the moving handrail 17, the end of the step 9 in the width direction with respect to the scar guard 20 Can be approached.
[0017]
Thereby, if the width | variety of the step 9 is the same as the past, the installation width | variety of the escalator 1 can be reduced.
[0018]
Since the escalator that has been installed for about 20 years after its installation has been designed with a considerable margin in its internal structure, when it is renewed, it has the same installation width but a wide step width, for example, the existing escalator has a step width of 1000 mm. In this case, a renewal escalator having a step width of 1200 mm can be installed, and the transportation capacity can be improved.
[0019]
Although the said embodiment demonstrated the escalator as an example as a passenger conveyor, it is needless to say that this invention is applicable also to the electric road which is the same as an escalator, and does not produce a level | step difference between treads.
[0020]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to reduce the installation space, particularly the installation space in the width direction, and it is possible to obtain a passenger conveyor that can be installed within the same installation dimensions and can be expanded in the width direction during renewal.
