車体に基端をヒンジされて開閉する2本のロッドの先端に互いに施錠開錠されるようにした錠本体と錠杆体を設けたこの種の自転車用錠には、例えば本出願人の先願に特願平8ー324756号がある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
開閉する2本のロッドの一方の先端に錠本体を取り付け、この錠本体に、タイヤを挟んで、他方のロッドの先端の錠杆体を施錠させるようにしたこの種の錠前は、施錠、開錠操作共にタイヤを挟む両側からの操作を伴うので、使用者により容易に、スムーズに行われるようにすることが望ましい。
そのため本発明が解決しようとする課題は、比較的に長尺の2本のロッドの先端に取り付けられている錠前の施錠操作と開錠操作を共に使用者にとって容易に、かつ、スムーズに使用できるようにすることにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、上記の課題を解決するために、車体への取付け位置からタイヤに届く適宜長さの2本のロッドを備え、一方のロッドの先端には、錠機構を内蔵して端面に施錠穴を開口させた錠本体を取り付け、他方のロッドの先端には、上記施錠穴に嵌合して錠本体内に施錠される錠杆体を取り付け、この2本のロッドを互いに開閉自在に車体に取り付けられるようにした自転車用錠において、前記錠杆体は、軸線方向に沿う突条と切欠部とを設けた錠杆部を具え、前記錠本体には、前記施錠穴の内側に、錠杆部の挿入によって摺動復元ばねに抗して後退する蹴り子を摺動自在に嵌合する一方、錠本体の他端面に所定角度の回転を自在にして嵌装したシリンダー錠機構の内端に、該シリンダー錠機構の内端の角軸を嵌合してシリンダー錠機構と一体に錠本体の内周面に沿って旋回し、先端に具えた鉤部を上記蹴り子と前記錠杆部とに側面から係合させるようにした円筒状のレバーを嵌装するとともに、このレバーに一端を掛止し、他端を錠本体内に固定されて、該レバーを常時施錠方向に付勢する旋回付勢ばねを設けたことを特徴とする自転車用錠を提供するものである。

上記のように構成した本錠前は、施錠しようとして、錠杆体の先端を錠本体側の施錠穴に挿入すると摺動復元ばねの付勢に抗して蹴り子が後退し、錠杆部の切欠部がレバーの先端の鉤部に達すると、開錠時に側面から鉤部を蹴り子に当接させていた該レバーは、旋回付勢ばねの付勢により錠本体の内周面に沿って所定角度旋回し、所定位置に挿入された錠杆部の切欠部に鉤部を嵌合させて自動的にロックする。

以下に本発明の実施例を図面について説明する。
図において、1と2は、自転車の車体への取付け側となる基端をピン3によりヒンジされて互いに開閉自在に連結される比較的に長尺の2本のロッド、4は一方のロッド1の先端にピン5でほぼL字形に揺動自在に連結した錠杆体、6は他方のロッド2の先端に錠杆体4と対向してピン7で同じく揺動自在に連結した錠本体である。

錠杆体6は、図示のように軸線方向に沿って交互に凹凸をなすように設けた突条8と切欠部9を上下に具えた錠杆部10を有する。
錠本体6は、錠杆体6と対向する一方の端面に錠杆部10を挿入する施錠穴11を開口し、他端面に所定角度の回転を自在にしたシリンダー錠機構12を嵌装している。

なお、図2に示す施錠状態においてシリンダー錠機構12は、上記レバー15の施錠位置への旋回と一体に回転して、周知のシリンダー錠と同様にタンブラー19を錠本体内面の溝20に嵌合させて施錠位置に保持され、キー21が携行可能に抜き出せるように構成されている。

前記のように構成し、上記ように用いられるようにした本発明自転車用錠によれば、上述のように施錠する際にも開場する際にも錠前を軸線方向に沿って作動させるようになるので、タイヤを挟んで両側から操作する必要のあるこの種の錠前の開錠・施錠操作が容易になりスムーズな使用ができる。
