【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、インキタンクとして後端を開放する合成樹脂製のパイプ体を使用し、内部にインキ界面の移動に伴って移動し得る逆流防止体を配置してなる筆記具に関する。

【従来の技術】
インキタンクとしてポリプロピレン樹脂製の押し出し成形物を切断したようなパイプ体を使用する筆記具は、ボールペンなどに使用されている。インキとしてかなり高粘度のインキを採用している場合は問題がないが、比較的低粘度のインキを採用している場合には後端の開放口よりインキが流れ出てしまうため、インキ界面に逆流防止体を可動の栓として配置しているものが知られている。この逆流防止体は、インキの逆流を防止するために、極力パイプ体の内径に近似した外径を有するものが採用されるが、インキの消費に伴って移動するインキ界面に伴って移動しなくてはインキタンク内が減圧となりペン先よりのインキ吐出を阻害するため、通常α−オレフィンやポリブテンのような高粘度流体に包まれてパイプ体の内壁との間に若干の隙間を形成して直接接触により移動の阻害が生じないようになされている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、合成樹脂の成形物であるパイプ体の内壁寸法を全長に渡って同一とすることは困難であり、内壁に寸法ばらつきによる径の狭い部分が存在することがある。また、逆流防止体の外径もばらつく可能性があるので、逆流防止体が移動しているうちにパイプ体の内壁に接触してその移動しなくなる場合があった。特にパイプ体を外装体内に収容し、パイプ体の後端を外装体の底部に当接させている場合、パイプ体を縮径する方向に外圧が加わり、所望のパイプ体内径が得られない場合があり、同じように逆流防止体が移動しているうちにパイプ体の内壁に接触して移動しなくなる場合があった。

即ち、本発明は、インキタンクとして後端を開放する合成樹脂製のパイプ体を使用し、内部にインキ界面の移動に伴って移動し得る逆流防止体を配置してなる筆記具において、前記インキタンクとなるパイプ体の後端の開放口に圧入力を付与して該開放口を拡口すると共に、パイプ体の内径を拡径したことを特徴とする筆記具を要旨とする。

【実施例】
以下、図面に基づき一例について説明する。各図面は、筆記具の後部のみを図示したものであるが、筆記具の前部構造については特に限定されず従来より公知の適宜構造が採用され得る。
図1に示したものは、透明性を有するアクリロニトリルスチレン樹脂の射出成形品である有底筒体の外装体1内にてインキタンクとしてのポリプロピレン樹脂製のパイプ体2を長手方向に挟持状態にて保持した筆記具の一例である。即ち、パイプ体2内には、インキ3及びインキ界面の移動に追従するα−オレフィンやポリブテンなどからなる高粘度流体の逆流防止体組成物4とこの逆流防止体組成物4をパイプ体の内壁との間に介在させて配置される逆流防止体である浮栓5が収容されている。図示はしないがパイプ体2は外装体1が連結する筆記具の前部材に先端当接し、後端を外装体1の底部に当接させて挟持されている。

このパイプ体2の後端開放口縁2aは後方に向かって次第に拡径するテーパー壁となっており、外装体1の底部に形成した段部である圧接部1aに圧接して外側に変形する。パイプ体2の後端が変形して拡開するので、パイプ体全体としても若干径が広がった状態となる。よって、パイプ体2の内径に多少径の狭い部分が形成されていたとしても、この拡径分にて吸収でき、浮栓5の移動を阻害することは極力抑制されたものとなる。ここで、外装体1の圧接部1aは、周状の段部ではなく、図面上点線にて示した部分的な切り欠き部1bを有している。即ち、パイプ体2の浮栓より後方の空間6を密閉しないためである。この空間6は外装体1に形成した空気孔(図示せず)を介して外気と連通しているものである。

図2に他の一例を示す。外装体1の圧接部として、複数の圧入片1cを有するものの例である。この圧入片1cは、先端に向かって次第に中心方向に向かうテーパー状の先端部1dを有している。この先端部1dのテーパー状の壁がパイプ体2の開放口縁に当接し圧接されるので圧入片1cはパイプ体2の内孔に圧接しながら挿入される状態となる。圧入片1cはパイプ体2より変形し難くこれによってパイプ体2の後端が変形して拡開する。よって、上述の例と同様に、パイプ体全体としても若干径が広がった状態となり、逆流防止体である浮栓5の移動を阻害することは極力抑制されたものとなる。

図3に更に他の一例を示す。
パイプ体2の後端部分を拡径する手段として、パイプ体2の後端に尾栓7を圧入したものである。尾栓7は、パイプ体2内における、逆流防止体である浮栓5より後方の空間6を密閉しないための通気中心孔7aを有し、環状の圧接部7bを有している。パイプ体2より後方突出している部分は後端7dにて外装体1の底部と当接すると共に、通気中心孔7aと連通するスリット7cが形成されている。この通気中心孔7a、スリット7cが前述の例にて説明した外装体1の空気孔を介して外気と連通している。即ち、尾栓7の後端7dにて外装体1の底部に当接させることによって、拡径されたパイプ体1の外壁が外装体1の内壁と周状当接しないように位置関係を調節している。

以上により、本発明の筆記具は、インキ界面に追従する逆流防止体の移動を阻害することを極力抑制しえるものである。
