Description
【0001】

(X,Y)2-3(Si,Al)4O10(OH)2Z1/3・nH2O
但し、X=Al,Fe(III),Mn(III),Cr(III)
Y=Mg,Fe(II),Ni,Zn,Li,Mn(II)
Z=K,Na,1/2Ca,1/2Mg

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a sunscreen cosmetic. More specifically, the present invention relates to a sunscreen cosmetic that is excellent in water resistance and that the whiteness of the ultraviolet protective powder is not noticeable when it comes into contact with water.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A water-in-oil emulsion composition (hereinafter also referred to as a W / O emulsion composition) has been used in sunscreen cosmetics because of its good water resistance as a base.
[0003]
In general, the W / O type emulsion composition has a drawback that it is difficult to obtain a system having excellent temperature stability and usability. As a technique for improving this defect, a water-swellable clay mineral is used as a quaternary ammonium salt type cation. A W / O emulsion composition emulsified with an organically modified clay mineral obtained by treating with a surfactant and a nonionic surfactant is known (Japanese Patent Laid-Open Nos. 61-114721 and 61). -129033 and JP-A-61-212321).
[0004]
In addition, sunscreen cosmetics containing titanium oxide and zinc oxide as UV protection agents in the W / O emulsion composition using this technology, and further, hydrophobization as a technology to make the coating color of UV protection powder inconspicuous A technique (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 7-258055) using spindle-shaped titanium oxide is known.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]

[0016]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the constituent requirements of the present invention will be described in more detail.
[0017]
The water-swellable clay mineral used in the present invention is a kind of colloidal hydrous aluminum silicate having a three-layer structure.
(X, Y) 2-3 (Si, Al) 4 O 10 (OH) 2 Z 1/3 · nH 2 O
X = Al, Fe (III), Mn (III), Cr (III)
Y = Mg, Fe (II), Ni, Zn, Li, Mn (II)
Z = K, Na, 1 / 2Ca, 1 / 2Mg
Specifically, for example, montmorillonite group of natural or synthetic (in this case, (OH) group in the formula is substituted with fluorine) such as montmorillonite, saponite and hectorite (in the commercial product, bee gum, And synthetic mica known as sodium silicic mica, sodium or lithium teniolite (commercially available products include Daimonite; Topy Industries Co., Ltd.).
[0018]
The quaternary ammonium salt type cationic surfactant used in the present invention has the following general formula:
Wherein R 1 is an alkyl group having 10 to 22 carbon atoms or a benzyl group, R 2 is a methyl group or an alkyl group having 10 to 22 carbon atoms, R 3 and R 4 are alkyl groups having 1 to 3 carbon atoms or hydroxy An alkyl group, X represents a halogen atom or a methyl sulfate residue.)
[0019]
Specifically, for example, dodecyltrimethylammonium chloride, myristyltrimethylammonium chloride, cetyltrimethylammonium chloride, stearyltrimethylammonium chloride, aralkyltrimethylammonium chloride, behenyltrimethylammonium chloride, myristyldimethylethylammonium chloride, cetyldimethylethylammonium chloride, Stearyldimethylethylammonium chloride, aralkyldimethylethylammonium chloride, behenyldimethylethylammonium chloride, myristyldiethylmethylammonium chloride, cetyldiethylmethylammonium chloride, stearyldiethylmethylammonium chloride, arachiridiethylmethyl Ammonium chloride, behenyl diethylmethylammonium chloride, benzyldiethylmethylammonium chloride, benzyldimethylcetylammonium chloride, benzyldimethylstearylammonium chloride, benzyldimethylbehenylammonium chloride, benzylmethylethylcetylammonium chloride, benzylmethylethylstearylammonium chloride, dibehenyldihydroxy Examples include ethylammonium chloride and the corresponding promide, and dipalmitylpropylethylammonium methyl sulfate. In carrying out the present invention, one or more of these are arbitrarily selected.
[0020]
Examples of normal temperature liquid fatty acids used in the present invention include oleic acid, isostearic acid, linoleic acid, linolenic acid, eicosapentaenoic acid, docosahexaenoic acid, and the like. In carrying out the present invention, one or more of these are arbitrarily selected.
[0021]
In addition, examples of room temperature liquid higher alcohols used in the present invention include oleyl alcohol, isostearyl alcohol, octyldodecanol, decyltetradecanol, jojoba alcohol, and the like. In carrying out the present invention, one or more of these are arbitrarily selected.
[0022]
The emulsifier used in the present invention can be produced by simply mixing the above essential components. Specifically, for example, a clay mineral, a quaternary ammonium salt type cationic activator, a room temperature liquid fatty acid or a higher alcohol in a low boiling point solvent such as water, acetone, lower alcohol, volatile isoparaffin or volatile silicone. Dispersing and stirring, or previously treating a clay mineral and a quaternary ammonium salt type cationic surfactant in a low boiling point solvent to obtain a cation-modified clay mineral (hereinafter also referred to as an organic-modified clay mineral) From the normal temperature liquid fatty acid or higher alcohol, and then the low boiling point solvent is removed. In the present invention, the low boiling point solvent can be used as an emulsifier without being removed.
[0023]
Since the quaternary ammonium salt type cationic surfactant and normal temperature liquid fatty acid or higher alcohol enter the clay mineral layer, the interlayer of the clay mineral is expanded, so the long spacing is measured by X-ray folding. By doing so, the presence or absence of adsorption of the quaternary ammonium salt type cationic surfactant and the normal temperature liquid fatty acid or higher alcohol can be confirmed.
[0024]
The content of the quaternary ammonium salt type cationic surfactant in the emulsifier used in the present invention is preferably 60 to 140 milliequivalents relative to 100 g of clay mineral. Moreover, 1-500g is preferable with respect to 100g of clay minerals, and, as for content of the normal temperature liquid fatty acid or higher alcohol in an emulsifier, More preferably, it is 1-300g. If the fatty acid or higher alcohol content is less than 1 g, the clay mineral layer does not spread sufficiently and the emulsification ability becomes insufficient. If it exceeds 500 g, the stability of the emulsion composition over time may deteriorate.
[0025]
The above-mentioned emulsifier used in the present invention can be added to a wide range of oil and water and emulsified in a W / O type. Compared to conventional emulsifiers using clay minerals, the emulsifier is stable, safe and usable.
