【課題を解決するための手段】
この発明の枡回りの締固め方法は、枡を設置した地表面に、上記枡の外周面に隙間を隔ててこの枡の周囲を囲む環状の締固め治具を配置し、この締固め治具の上面から締固め装置により上記地表面を締固める方法である。締固め装置は、振動等を与えることで締固めるものであっても、転圧を行うもの、つまり静的圧力により機械的に締固めるものであって良い。
この方法によると、枡の周囲に環状の締固め治具を配置し、その上から締固め装置による加圧や振動の付与を行うため、締固め装置が枡の周辺の地表面突出物に干渉することが避けられる。そのため、2つ以上の枡が互いに近くに設置されていて、枡間の間隔が締固め装置のプレート幅寸法より狭い場合でも、締固め治具を介して枡回りの地表面を締固め装置で確実に締固めることができる。また、締固め装置が枡に衝突して枡を破損させる恐れがなく、枡の周囲を枡の近接部分まで確実に締固めることができる。これらのため、締固め不足による枡周囲の舗装の沈下が防止される。
