【発明の実施の形態】
以下に、添付図面を参照して本発明の実施の形態を詳細に説明する。図1の(a)は本実施の形態にかかるサッシの横断面図であり、(b)は(a)の図において連結具を除いた状態を示す図であり、図2は図1のサッシをA―A位置で切断した縦断面図である。尚、図2において、一点鎖線で抜き出して示しているのは、サッシのカバー部材と隙間塞ぎ部材とを抜き出して示す図である。
本発明の実施の形態にかかるサッシ1はカーテンウォールであり、方立3と、無目5と、方立3と無目5とを連結する連結具7と、無目5に固定するカバー部材9と、カバー部材9と方立3との間の隙間Sを埋める隙間塞ぎ部材11とを備えている。尚、本実施の形態にかかるサッシ1では、図1(a)(b)のそれぞれにおける室外側から室内側を見て左側に開閉障子12が設けられており、右側に嵌め殺し障子14が設けられているが、右側の嵌め殺し障子14は方立の上下方向全体に亘って設けられており、左側の開閉障子12は方立の上部に設けてあり、図2に示すように開閉障子12の下部には嵌め殺し障子16が設けられている。
方立3には、その室外側面に開閉障子12の補助材18と嵌め殺し障子14の枠材13が固定されており、無目5には上部に設けた開閉障子12の補助部20と、下部に設けた嵌め殺し障子16の上枠22が一体に形成されている。
連結具7は、略L字形状を成しており、L字の一側を方立3の側面3aにボルト19で固定しており、L字の他側を無目5の室内側面5aにボルト21で固定している。
カバー部材9は縦断面が略コ字形状であり、その内部の上下にそれぞれ設けた係止片17(図2参照)を無目5に係止することにより、無目5の室内側面5aに固定されている。このカバー部材9は、無目5の長手方向(横方向)に亘ってその室内側面5aを隠すとともに、連結具7と無目5とを固定している連結具7の少なくとも無目側固定部7bを隠している。カバー部材9の側端面9aと方立3の側面3aとの間には隙間Sを形成することにより、方立3の側面3aに対してカバー部材9の側端面9aは、熱伸び及び熱収縮による相対変位が可能になっている。
隙間塞ぎ部材11はカバー部材9の側端面9aと方立3の側面3aとの間の隙間Sを塞いでいる。隙間塞ぎ部材11は断面が略コ字形状であり、その内部に設けている上下のネジ止めホール23(図2参照)に螺合するネジ25で方立の側面3aに固定されている。
隙間塞ぎ部材11の内部には、連結具7の少なくとも方立との固定部7aが位置している。
また、隙間塞ぎ部材11はカバー部材9の内部にあり、断面が略コ字形状のカバー部材9の側端面9aの内周側でカバー部材9と重合している。

次に、本実施の形態にかかるサッシの施工及び作用について説明する。施工は、方立3の側面3aと無目5の室内側面5aに略L字形状の連結具7をボルト21、19で止めて方立3と無目5とを連結する。次に、連結具7において方立3の側面3aにボルト19で固定した箇所をコ字の内部に呑み込むように隙間塞ぎ部材11を方立3の側面3aに配置して、ネジ25で方立3の側面3aに固定する。その後、カバー部材9の側端面9aが隙間塞ぎ部材11を呑み込むようにカバー部材9を無目5に配置して、カバー部材9の係止片17を無目5の室内側面5aに係止することによりカバー部材9を無目5に固定する。

本実施の形態では、隙間塞ぎ部材11は方立3の側面3aに固定されているので、カバー部材9の熱収縮により従来のように隙間塞ぎ部材11が方立3の側面から離れて連結具が外部から見えることがない。また、隙間塞ぎ部材11はカバー部材の内部にあるので外から隙間塞ぎ部材11を掴みにくく、隙間塞ぎ部材11をいたずら等により外されることを防止できる。
