Description

【0001】
【0013】

[Technical field to which the invention belongs]
The present invention relates to a glass run channel that is mounted around the door of a vehicle and can slide and clamp the outer peripheral edge of the door / window glass and the inner / outer surfaces near the door / waistline.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A door / window glass attached to a door / sash in a vehicle, particularly a passenger car, so as to be movable up and down is disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 7-39250, and the door has a substantially U-shaped cross section. The glass run channel fitted in the guide groove portion of the sash slidably contacts and clamps the outer peripheral edge portion and the inner and outer surfaces near the door / waist line. For example, as shown in FIG. 5, the outer periphery of the door / window glass WG is formed by extrusion molding glass run channel portion GC and molded glass run channel corner C as shown in FIG. In addition, the extruded waist seal portions WS extending along the door / waist line from the corner C of the molded glass run channel are integrally connected to each other.
[0003]
The glass run channel is extruded and molded from a synthetic solid rubber material and / or a sponge rubber material made of, for example, an ethylene propylene rubber material, or a synthetic resin material, and is integrally connected to form an elongated shape.
Further, the pair of seal lip portions that are in sliding contact with the inner and outer surfaces of the door / window glass WG near the door / waistline in the extruded waist seal portion WS give the sliding surface to the door / window glass WG. A flocking group (not shown) was applied.
[0004]
FIG. 6 is a partially broken view of the conventional glass run channel described above in which the extrusion molded waist seal part WS and the molded glass run channel corner C joined to the extrusion molded waist seal part WS are partially broken. 7 is a cross-sectional view taken along the line A′-A ′ of FIG. 6, and FIG. 8 is a cross-sectional view taken along the line B′-B ′ of FIG. 6.
The main parts of the extrusion-molded waist seal portion 30 in the conventional glass run channel 10 and the molded glass run-channel corner portion 20 to be joined to the extrusion-molded waist seal portion 30 are configured as follows.
[0005]
That is, the corner 20 of the molded glass run channel is curved inward from the side wall end portions of the insert metal IM that are substantially U-shaped in cross section, with the vicinity of the front end portions thereof approaching each other. A pair of seal lip portions 22 projecting so as to slidably contact and sandwich the outer peripheral edge portion of the door / window glass and the inner and outer surfaces in the vicinity thereof, and both side walls of the housing portion 21 as a whole. Each of the vertical mounting portions 23 having a substantially U-shaped cross section, and having a substantially U-shaped cross section as a whole, and bend in parallel with each other along the door / waist line. The extruded waist seal portion 30 has a substantially U-shaped cross-section and has a generally U-shaped cross section in the door / waist line. Each side extending parallel to each other along A seal lip portion 32 is provided opposite to each other on the outer surface of the opposing side wall in the direction mounting portion 31, and fitted in a partially cut portion of the opposing side wall in the molded glass run channel corner 20 in a stamped state, A side wall cutout portion 31a capable of restoring the outer shape of the same portion was provided.
[0006]
The seal lip portion 32 is provided with a flocking portion 33 made of nylon fiber or the like after extrusion molding on the sliding contact surface with the door / window glass WG, and along with the side wall cutout portion 31a, the corner of the molded glass run channel. The portion 20 extends from a straight region to a curved region in each of the lateral mounting portions 24.
As shown in FIG. 7, the side wall cutout portion 31a fitted in the linear region of each lateral mounting portion 24 of the molded glass run channel corner portion 20 has a groove bottom portion in each lateral mounting portion 24 as shown in FIG. The side wall cutout portions 31a that are supported on the step 24b of the molded glass run channel corner portion 20 and that extend to the curved regions of the lateral mounting portions 24 of the molded glass run channel corner 20 are, as shown in FIG. It was fitted in a state where it sneaks under the step 24 a at the groove bottom in the lateral mounting portion 24.
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the connection between the molded glass run channel corner portion 20 and the extruded waist seal portion 30 is made by partially cutting the opposite side wall of the molded glass run channel corner portion 20 and the side wall cutout portion. Since it is a simple butting connection with 31a, if shrinkage after molding or displacement at the time of fitting occurs, as shown in FIG. 9, a gap g is induced at the butting connection location of both molding members. There was a drawback that the appearance and sealing performance were impaired.
[0008]
The present invention eliminates the problems of the prior art described above, and suppresses the generation of gaps that are harmful in terms of appearance and sealability even if shrinkage after molding of both molded members or displacement of positions during fitting occurs. The purpose is to provide a channel.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
An object of the present invention is to project inwardly from both side wall end portions of a housing portion having a generally U-shaped cross section so as to be curved inward while approaching the vicinity of the tip portions thereof. [0014]
In other words, the corner 50 of the molded glass run channel is curved inward from the side wall end portions of which the cross section is formed in a generally U shape together with the insert metal IM while bringing the vicinity of the front end portions close to each other. A pair of seal lip portions 52 projecting so as to slidably contact and sandwich the outer peripheral edge portion of the door / window glass WG and its inner and outer surfaces, and both side walls of the housing portion 51 as a whole. Each vertical mounting portion 53 having a generally U-shaped cross section and each lateral direction having a generally U-shaped cross section and being bent in parallel with each other along the door waistline. A lateral slit portion 56 is provided on the opposite side wall of the mounting portion 54, and a bag-like groove portion 57 having the lateral slit portion 56 as an opening is formed inside the U-shape, and is further continuous with the lateral slit portion 56. Extrusion waist The side walls of the pole tip 60 closer is made comprises a notch 54b.
[0015]
On the other hand, the extrusion-molded waist seal portion 60 has a substantially U-shaped cross section as a whole and extends on the opposite side wall outer surface of each lateral mounting portion 61 extending parallel to each other along the door-waist line. A side wall cutout portion that can be inserted into the bag-like groove portion 57 while providing the seal lip portion 62 and passing the seal lip portion 62 through the lateral slit portion 56 in the corner 50 of the molded glass run channel. 61a is provided.
[0016]
The glass run channel 40 is formed by extrusion molding and molding from a synthetic solid rubber material and / or a sponge rubber material made of, for example, an ethylene propylene rubber material, or a synthetic resin material, and has an elongated shape. Yes.
Further, the pair of seal lip portions 62 that are in sliding contact with the inner and outer surfaces of the door / window glass WG near the door / waist line in the extruded molding waist seal portion 60 are slidable on the sliding contact surface with the door / window glass WG. In order to provide the above, after the extrusion molding, a flocked portion 63 made of nylon fiber or the like is implanted.
[0017]
In the glass run channel 40 of the present invention configured as described above, each lateral mounting portion 61 of the extruded waist seal portion 60 is connected to each lateral mounting portion 54 at the corner 50 of the molded glass run channel. The side wall cut-out portion 61a is easily and reliably positioned and fixed while the bag-shaped groove portion 57 and the lateral slit portion 56 are fitted in the end portion, while the corner of the molded glass run channel is fixed. Since the overlapping portion 55 of the molded glass run channel corner portion 50 corresponding to the length of the notch portion 54b of the portion 50 is formed, the overlapping portion 55 effectively covers the gap g between the two forming members.
[0018]
It should be noted that each lateral mounting portion 54 of the molded glass run channel corner 50 terminates in the curved region of each lateral mounting portion 54, and thus the overlapping portion 55 is formed in the curved region. The corners of the molded glass run channel are preferable for miniaturization.

As described above, the glass run channel of the present invention described above has the following novel effects. That is, in the glass run channel of the present invention, each corner of the molded glass run channel has a substantially U-shaped cross section and is bent in parallel with each other along the door / waist line. The lateral slit portion is formed through the opposing side wall of the lateral mounting portion, and the bag-like groove portion having the lateral slit portion as an opening is formed inside the U-shape, and is further continuous with the lateral slit portion. The notched portion is provided on the opposite side wall near the extruded waist seal portion; the extruded waist seal portion has a generally U-shaped cross section on the door waistline. The seal lip portions are provided on the outer surfaces of the opposing side walls of the lateral mounting portions extending in parallel with each other while being aligned, and the seal slits are formed in the horizontal slit portions at the corners of the molded glass run channel. The side wall cutout portion that can be inserted into the bag-like groove portion while penetrating the groove portion; and each lateral mounting portion of the extruded waist seal portion at the corner of the molded glass run channel Fit in the end of each lateral mounting portion, and cover the opposite side wall and the side wall cut-out portion in the extruded waist seal portion, and the molded glass run channel corner and the extruded waist seal portion, In order to effectively cover the gap, the overlapping portion is provided around the end of each lateral mounting portion at the corner of the molded glass run channel corresponding to the length of the cutout portion . The bag-like groove and the lateral slit allow easy and reliable positioning and fixing of the side wall cut-out part, while the overlapping part allows both molding members to be fixed. During that it became possible to effectively cover the said gap even if temporarily.
[0020]
Furthermore, in the glass run channel of the present invention, each of the lateral mounting portions of the corners of the molded glass run channel terminates in the curved region of each of the lateral mounting portions. It became possible to miniaturize the part.
