本発明は、板ガラス保持部材に関し、特に、板ガラス体本体の外周縁に嵌め込まれる板ガラス保持部材に関する。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、第1の従来技術による複層ガラス体100では、一対の保持部150が夫々断面L字形部材から成るので、複層ガラス体本体110に固定されておらず、複層ガラス体100の組み立てが困難であった。

また、第2の従来技術による複層ガラス体200では、複層ガラス保持部材132が複層ガラス体本体110の底辺に対応する部分も断面U字形部材から成るので、複層ガラス体本体100は、その底辺において排水効率が悪かった。

本発明の目的は、板ガラス体の排水効率を良くすることができると共に、板ガラス体の組み立てを容易にすることができる板ガラス保持部材を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために、請求項1記載の板ガラス保持部材は、板ガラス体の板ガラス支持枠のチャンネル内で板ガラス体本体を保持すべく、前記板ガラス体本体の外周縁に嵌め込まれる板ガラス保持部材において、前記板ガラス体本体の底辺以外の3辺の外周縁に嵌め込まれる長尺状断面U字形の板ガラス保持部と、前記板ガラス体本体の底辺の外周縁をその両側で挟持する一対の板ガラス保持部とから成り、前記断面U字形の板ガラス保持部の両側部端には、U字形部材が当該両側部端を連結するように前記両側部と直交して設けられており、前記一対の板ガラス保持部の長さ方向の両端部は、夫々対向する前記U字形部材に当接しており、且つ、前記U字形部材は、断面形状が前記一対の板ガラス保持部と同じであることを特徴とする。

図1に示すように、板ガラス体としての複層ガラス体1は、複層ガラス体本体10と、複層ガラス体本体10の外周縁に嵌め込まれた複層ガラス保持部材30と、複層ガラス体本体10を複層ガラス保持部材30を介して支持する図3で後述するサッシ20(板ガラス支持枠)とから成る。複層ガラス保持部材30は、複層ガラス体1のサッシ20のチャンネル内で複層ガラス体本体10を保持する。

図7において、まず、上端保持部40の長手方向長さ間隔で母材700の外側軟質部410を切断して上端保持部40の両側部自由端部F1を形成し、次いで、上端保持部40の両端の切断面から長尺部51の長手方向長さに相当する位置で母材700の外側軟質部410を切断して一対の長尺部51の片側部両自由端部F2を形成し、更に、長尺部51の一端の切断面からU字形部材52の長さに相当する位置で夫々母材700の外側軟質部410を切断してU字形部材52を形成する(図7(a))。次いで、上端保持部40の両側部自由端部F1で折り曲げることにより上端保持部40に対して長尺部51を夫々直交させ、長尺部51の片側部両自由端部F2(U字形部材52の両側部自由端部)で折り曲げることにより長尺部51に対してU字形部材52をそれぞれ直交させる(図7(b))。なお、これらの直交は、それぞれガラス体本体10に取り付けながら実行される。これにより、略コ字形保持部31を容易に作成してガラス体本体10に取り付けることができ、もって複層ガラス体1の組み立てを容易にすることができる。

図4の複層ガラス保持部材30において、長尺部51とU字形部材52との接続、及び上端保持部40と側端保持部50との接続は、上記に限るものではない。例えば、長尺部51及びU字形部材52の互いに対応する端部、上端保持部40及び長尺部51の互いに対応する端部を長手方向に対して45°に夫々切断した後に、各対応する切断面を接着材等の接着部材80により接着して接続させてもよく(図10(a))、また、長尺部51及びU字形部材52の互いに対応する端部、上端保持部40及び長尺部51の互いに対応する端部における内側軟質部42,54,72及び外側軟質部41,53,硬質部材71の側部45,57,74を長手方向に対して45°に夫々切断した後に、長尺部51及びU字形部材52を外側軟質部41,53の底部44,56において、上端保持部40及び長尺部51を外側軟質部41の底部44において折り曲げて、各対応する切断面を接着部材80により接着して接続させてもよい(図10(b))。
