【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、高粘度のアスファルトを使用する頻度が多いと、アスファルト噴射パイプ内にアスファルトが短期間で付着成長して噴射ノズルを閉塞し、アスファルト噴射パイプの交換や掃除などの回数が増えてメンテナンスが大変であるという問題が生じている。

本発明者は、噴射ノズルを閉塞する原因を追求した結果、アスファルト噴射パイプに貼り付けたヒータをパイプ表面温度に基づいて加熱制御しているが、ヒータ自体はパイプ表面設定温度以上の高温となるために、ヒータの取り付け部分のパイプが必要以上に加熱されてパイプ内壁に付着残留するアスファルトが炭化して固化したり、またこのカスが噴射ノズル部分に詰まるなどして噴射ノズルを徐々に閉塞させ、特に高粘度のアスファルトではパイプ内壁に付着残留する量が多く、また流動性を維持するために加熱設定温度も高めにするなどによってアスファルトの炭化が更に促進されて噴射ノズルが短期間に閉塞を起こしているのではないかと推測し、ヒータによってアスファルト噴射パイプ自体を高温に加熱していることが噴射ノズル閉塞の大きな原因ではないかという結論に至った。

そこで、上記の課題を解決するために、本発明のアスファルトプラントのアスファルト噴射パイプにあっては、アスファルト噴射パイプの遊端部側よりその内部に棒状のヒータ保護管を挿入し、該ヒータ保護管の先端部の周面にはその先端部分がアスファルト噴射パイプの中心に位置するように位置決め用のリブを固着していると共に、前記ヒータ保護管内にアスファルト加熱保温用のヒータを内装したことを特徴としている。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明に係わるアスファルトプラントのアスファルト噴射パイプによれば、アスファルト噴射パイプの内部にアスファルト加熱保温用ヒータを挿入し、このヒータによってアスファルトを直接的に加熱する。これによって、アスファルト噴射パイプ内壁に付着したアスファルトが必要以上に加熱されて炭化することがなくなり、噴射ノズルが閉塞することを極力防止できる。

以下、本発明の実施例を図面に基づいて説明する。
