Description
(1)上記旋削工具において、締付ネジが、前記凸状の湾曲の中心の前方で(前記凸状の湾曲の中心からみて前端部側において)、遊びを以って前記爪部材の孔部を貫通して延在することが好ましい。(形態2)
(2)上記の旋削工具において、前記長手溝の凹状の底面と、該底面上に枢動可能に案内される前記爪部材の下方部分の凸状の湾曲面は、それぞれ、半径に関し適合する部分円筒面から構成されることが好ましい(形態3)。
(3)上記の旋削工具において、前記爪部材の枢動軸線は、前記長手溝の側壁に対し直交方向に配されることが好ましい(形態4)。
(4)上記の旋削工具において、前記棒状ホルダの長手方向に関して測定される前記孔部の中心軸線と前記凸状の湾曲面の中心との間の間隔は、前記爪部材と前記切削部材との間の締付箇所の中心と、該孔部の中心軸線との間の間隔の1/3、好ましくは1/2よりも大きいことが好ましい(形態5)。
(5)上記の旋削工具において、前記孔部の後方において該孔部から所定の距離だけ離れた箇所の前記爪部材の厚さは、最大でも、同一箇所における該爪部材を受容する前記長手溝の深さとほぼ同じ大きさに構成されることが好ましい(形態6)。
(6)上記の旋削工具において、前記爪部材の、前記切削部材に向って押圧可能な前端部は、超硬合金から構成され、かつチップブレーカとして構成されることが好ましい(形態7)。
(7)上記形態7の旋削工具において、前記爪部材の超硬合金製前端部は、少なくとも1つの側面に、チップ逃し凹部を有することが好ましい(形態8)。
(8)上記の旋削工具において、前記切削部材は、切削プレートから構成される切削ヘッドのみから構成され、該切削プレートは、円形に構成されるか、又は前部および側部においては180°よりも大きい中心角に対応する長さに亘って延在する円弧状の切削刃部を有し、かつ後部においては平面図で見て該切削刃部の円弧形状とは異なる形状の当接面を有するよう構成されることが好ましい(形態9)。
(9)上記形態9の旋削工具において、前記切削プレートは、超硬合金層上に、多結晶ダイヤモンド層又は立方晶系窒化ホウ素層等の硬質切削材層を有し、かつ前記棒状ホルダの前端部の嵌合受容穴部に嵌合可能な調心突起が、該超硬合金層から構成される円弧状切削刃部と同心をなすよう形成されることが好ましい(形態10)。
(10)上記形態10の旋削工具において、前記切削プレートの受容部材は、前記受容穴部及び場合によっては更に前記当接面と共働する支持面を備えると共に前記棒状ホルダの前端部にはんだ等により接合される超硬合金製装着部材から構成されることが好ましい(形態11)。
Claims (11)
- 周面及び平面の粗削り及び仕上げ削りを行う輪郭旋削工具であって、
ダイヤモンド又は立方晶系窒化ホウ等の材料から構成されかつ90°よりも大きい円周角に対応する長さに亘って延在する切削刃部(42)を備えた丸味をつけた切削ヘッドを有する切削部材(18)の受容部材(16)を備えた棒状ホルダ(10)と、該棒状ホルダ(10)の長手溝(26)に係合し、かつチップブレーカとして構成される前端部(32)を有すると共に、前記切削部材(18)を該棒状ホルダ(10)に固定する爪部材(20)とを含み、該爪部材(20)は、締付ネジ(22)によって前記棒状ホルダ(10)に固定可能である輪郭旋削工具において、
前記切削ヘッドの長手方向中心軸線は、前記長手溝(26)を通ってその長手方向へ延在し、該長手溝(26)の底面は、長手方向断面に関し凹状に構成され、及び下方部分の係合領域が凸状に湾曲するよう構成されかつ該長手溝(26)の側壁に沿って案内される前記爪部材(20)のための枢動軸受を構成すること、
を特徴とする旋削工具。 - 前記締付ネジ(22)は、前記凸状の湾曲の中心の前方で遊びを以って前記爪部材(20)の孔部(28)を貫通して延在し、前記棒状ホルダ(10)に螺着可能であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の旋削工具。
- 前記長手溝(26)の凹状の底面と、該底面上に枢動可能に案内される前記爪部材(20)の下方部分の凸状の湾曲面は、それぞれ、半径に関し適合する部分円筒面から構成されること
を特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の旋削工具。 - 前記爪部材(20)の枢動軸線は、前記長手溝(26)の側壁に対し直交方向に配されること
を特徴とする請求項1〜3の何れか1項に記載の旋削工具。 - 前記棒状ホルダ(10)の長手方向に関して測定される前記孔部(28)の中心軸線と前記凸状の湾曲面の中心との間の間隔は、前記爪部材(20)と前記切削部材(18)との間の締付箇所の中心と、該孔部(28)の中心軸線との間の間隔の1/3よりも大きいこと
を特徴とする請求項1〜4の何れか1項に記載の旋削工具。 - 前記孔部(28)の後方において該孔部(28)から所定の距離だけ離れた箇所の前記爪部材(20)の厚さは、最大でも、同一箇所における該爪部材(20)を受容する前記長手溝(26)の深さとほぼ同じ大きさに構成されること
を特徴とする請求項1〜5の何れか1項に記載の旋削工具。 - 前記爪部材(20)の、前記切削部材(18)に向って押圧可能な前端部(32)は、超硬合金から構成され、かつチップブレーカとして構成されること
を特徴とする請求項1〜6の何れか1項に記載の旋削工具。 - 前記爪部材(20)の超硬合金製前端部(32)は、少なくとも1つの側面に、チップ逃し凹部(33)を有すること
を特徴とする請求項7に記載の旋削工具。 - 前記切削部材(18,18’)は、切削プレートから構成される切削ヘッドのみから構成され、該切削プレートは、円形に構成されるか、又は前部および側部においては180°よりも大きい中心角に対応する長さに亘って延在する円弧状の切削刃部(42)を有し、かつ後部においては平面図で見て該切削刃部(42)の円弧形状とは異なる形状の当接面(44)を有するよう構成されること
を特徴とする請求項1〜8の何れか1項に記載の旋削工具。 - 前記切削プレート(18,18’)は、超硬合金層上に、多結晶ダイヤモンド層又は立方晶系窒化ホウ素層等の硬質切削材層を有し、かつ前記棒状ホルダ(10)の前端部(12,16)の嵌合受容穴部(38)に嵌合可能な調心突起(40)が、該超硬合金層から構成される円弧状切削刃部(42)と同心をなすよう形成されること
を特徴とする請求項9に記載の旋削工具。 - 前記切削プレート(18,18’)の受容部材は、前記受容穴部(38)を備えると共に前記棒状ホルダ(10)の前端部(12,14)にはんだ等により接合される超硬合金製装着部材(16,16’)から構成されること
を特徴とする請求項10に記載の旋削工具。
