本発明は、記録媒体が自動的に挿入され、内部に該記録媒体に嵌合するコネクタが設けられた記録又は再生装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
図13(a)、(b)は、従来の記録又は再生装置を簡略化して示す平面図である(特開平7−244711号参照)。これは、記録媒体としてICカードが自動的に挿入される装置であり、以下の記載では記録媒体が挿入される方向を前方、記録媒体が排出される方向を後方とする。記録媒体(6)の前端部には第1コネクタ(60)が設けられ、装置のシャーシ(1)の前端部には第1コネクタ(60)に嵌合する第2コネクタ(7)が設けられている。シャーシ(1)には、記録媒体(6)が載置されるトレイ(4)が設けられ、トレイ(4)はシャーシ(1)に設けられモータ駆動される駆動カム(3)及び該駆動カム(3)のカム溝(33)に嵌まったレバー(97)によって、前後に移動する。トレイ(4)が記録媒体(6)を支持した状態で前進して、第1コネクタ(60)が第2コネクタ(7)に嵌合して、電気的に接続される。この状態で、第2コネクタ(7)を通じて記録媒体(6)に情報が記録され、又は記録媒体(6)から情報が再生される。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
情報を正確に記録又は再生するには、両コネクタ(60)(7)が正確に嵌合する必要がある。しかし、従来の装置では、記録媒体(6)のトレイ(4)内の上下ガタ、トレイ(4)のシャーシ(1)に対する上下ガタ等により、一方のコネクタ(60)が他方のコネクタ(7)に対して上下にズレ、両コネクタ(60)(7)が正確に嵌合しない虞れがある。
本発明の目的は、記録媒体とシャーシ上のコネクタを正確に嵌合させることにある。

トレイ(4)には、記録媒体(6)の前端部を上向き又は下向きに付勢するバネ部材が設けられ、記録媒体(6)又はコネクタ(7)の少なくとも一方には、記録媒体(6)の姿勢を補正しながら、コネクタ(7)に導く面取り等の案内機構が設けられ、記録媒体(6)はコネクタ(7)への嵌合前に、突軸(48)を中心に又は持上げ突部(49)を支点にして前端部が上下に回動可能な状態を保ちながら、案内機構によりコネクタ(7)への嵌合を案内される。

【作用及び効果】
記録媒体(6)がトレイ(4)に挿入された状態で、たとえ記録媒体(6)の前端部とコネクタ(7)との上下位置がズレていても、突軸(48)を中心に又は持上げ突部(49)を支点にして前端部が上下に回動可能になっている。従って、記録媒体(6)のコネクタ(7)への嵌合前に案内機構により、記録媒体(6)の前端部は上向き又は下向きに振れ、スムーズにコネクタ(7)に嵌まる。これにより、記録媒体(6)とシャーシ(1)上のコネクタ(7)を正確に嵌合させることができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
(第1実施例)
以下、本発明の一例を図を用いて詳述する。
図7は、記録媒体(6)の斜視図であり、一端部に第1コネクタ(60)を設けている。第1コネクタ(60)は多数の電気接片を横に並べた接片列(61)(61)を上下に分けて設けており、両接片列(61)(61)間に隙間Hが形成されている。
記録媒体(6)の側面には、第1コネクタ(60)側端部が開口した案内溝(63)が前後に延びて開設されている。記録媒体(6)は、映像、音楽等の情報を記録できる箱体(図4参照)であっても、識別情報を記録したICカードのようなものであってもよい。
図9は、第1コネクタ(60)が嵌まる第2コネクタ(7)の斜視図である。第2コネクタ(7)は回路基板(72)に取り付けられた箱体(73)内に設けられている。第2コネクタ(7)内には横板(71)が設けられ、該横板(71)が第1コネクタ(60)の隙間Hに嵌まり、両コネクタ(60)(7)が嵌合する。尚、第2コネクタ(7)に隙間Hを、第1コネクタ(60)に横板(71)を設けてもよい。両コネクタ(60)(7)の嵌合部入口には、面取り等の案内機構を設けてもよい。

図1は、本例に係わる装置の分解平面図である。シャーシ(1)からは一対の側板(10)(10)が立設し、両側板(10)(10)間にトレイ(4)及び補助トレイ(5)が配備される。シャーシ(1)の前端部に、前記第2コネクタ(7)及び回路基板(72)が設けられている。両側板(10)(10)からは規制片(11)(11)が内向きに突出しており、後記の如く、トレイ(4)に記録媒体(6)が載置されない状態で、トレイ(4)が前進するのを防ぐ。
トレイ(4)は、記録媒体(6)を載せる底板(40)の両側に側壁(41)(41)を立設し、該側壁(41)の前端部から第1突起(42)、後端部から段軸である第2突起(43)を夫々外向きに突出している。また、底板(40)の前端部に、記録媒体(6)が前進しすぎることを防ぐストッパ(44)が設けられている。底板(40)には窓孔(45)が開設され、該窓孔(45)内にラック(46)及び押し軸(47)が一段落ち込んで設けられている。側壁(41)(41)の上端部には、記録媒体(6)を押圧する板バネ(65)(65)が設けられ、側壁(41)の後端部内側には記録媒体(6)の案内溝(63)に嵌まる突軸(48)が設けられている。
補助トレイ(5)は、記録媒体(6)を受ける底板(50)の両側に側壁(51)(51)を立設し、該側壁(51)の前端部から段軸である第3突起(52)、後端部から第4突起(53)を夫々外向きに突出している。底板(50)の後端部には、記録媒体(6)の後端部を押す押し片(54)が設けられ、該底板(50)の下面からは嵌合軸(55)が突出している。

シャーシ(1)の底面裏側には、周縁に歯面(30)を形成した円形の駆動カム(3)が回動自在に設けられ、該駆動カム(3)は中間ギア(95)及びウォーム(96)を介してモータ(M)駆動される。駆動カム(3)の歯面(30)はトレイ(4)のラック(46)に噛合している。
図2は、シャーシ(1)の側板(10)の右側面図である。側板(10)には、トレイ(4)の第1突起(42)、第2突起(43)及び補助トレイ(5)の第3突起(52)が嵌まる水平溝(12)と、補助トレイ(5)の第4突起(53)が嵌まるガイド溝(13)とが開設されている。第2突起(43)は、第3突起(52)の後方に位置する。ガイド溝(13)は、前方に向かって上向きに傾いた第1案内部(13a)と、該第1案内部(13a)の上端から前方に水平に延びた第2案内部(13b)を具えている。

駆動カム(3)の裏面の一部には、突片(37)(37)(37)が形成され、該突片(37)は駆動カム(3)の回転角度に応じて、駆動カム(3)の下方に配備される検出スイッチ(図示せず)を押し込み、記録媒体(6)がトレイ(4)から完全に排出されたEJECT状態、記録媒体(6)が第2コネクタ(7)に嵌合した挿入完了状態を検出する。

(記録媒体挿入動作)
図4(a)〜(d)は、EJECT状態から挿入完了状態に至るまでのトレイ(4)と補助トレイ(5)の動作を示す右側面図であり、図5(a)、(b)、図6は同上の平面図である。図4(b)〜(d)乃至図6にあっては、図示の便宜上、記録媒体(6)を図示しない。また、図4(a)〜(d)に示すように、補助トレイ(5)はシャーシ(1)の側板(10)との間に架けられた引張りバネ(9)により後方に付勢されている。
図5(a)及び図4(a)に示すEJECT状態では、補助トレイ(5)の後端部はトレイ(4)の移行路から下方に逃げている。これにより、補助トレイ(5)に邪魔されずに、トレイ(4)に記録媒体(6)を挿入できる。また、トレイ(4)の待機状態では、トレイ(4)と補助トレイ(5)が重なっているから、トレイ(4)と補助トレイ(5)を収納するスペースは小さくて済む。

図4(a)に示すように、EJECT状態にてトレイ(4)に記録媒体(6)を挿入すると、記録媒体(6)がトレイ(4)に設けられた挿入検知スイッチ(図示せず)を押し、モータ(M)に通電する。記録媒体(6)の案内溝(63)が、トレイ(4)の突軸(48)に嵌まり、記録媒体(6)は前進を案内される。
モータ(M)の通電により、駆動カム(3)が時計方向に回動すると、駆動カム(3)の歯面(30)とラック(46)が噛合しているから、トレイ(4)は前進する。図4(b)に示すように、トレイ(4)の前進に伴って、トレイ(4)の第2突起(43)は補助トレイ(5)の第3突起(52)を押し、補助トレイ(5)を引張りバネ(9)に抗して前進させる。補助トレイ(5)は図4(c)に示すように、トレイ(4)に対して傾いていた姿勢が略水平となるように補正されて、ガイド溝(13)の第2案内部(13b)に沿って進行する。

図5(b)に示すように、ラック(46)と駆動カム(3)の噛合が外れると、押し軸(47)が駆動カム(3)の凹部(36)に嵌まり、更にトレイ(4)を前進させる。このとき、カム溝(33)の開口は、補助トレイ(5)の嵌合軸(55)に対向する。

図4(d)に示すように、補助トレイ(5)の第3突起(52)は、トレイ(4)の第2突起(43)から外れる。補助トレイ(5)の押し片(54)は、記録媒体(6)の後端部を押して、記録媒体(6)の第1コネクタ(60)と、シャーシ(1)上の第2コネクタ(7)(図1参照)を圧着させる。これにより、両コネクタ(60)(7)は確実に嵌合し、記録媒体(6)が不用意にコネクタ(7)から外れる虞れは解消される。また、図6に示すように、嵌合軸(55)は駆動カム(3)のカム溝(33)の円弧部(34)に嵌まっており、駆動カム(3)に加わる回転負荷のバラ付きにより、駆動カム(3)の回転角度がバラ付いても、補助トレイ(5)の位置はズレない。更に、両コネクタ(60)(7)を圧着させるときには、補助トレイ(5)を動かす負荷は大きくなるが、嵌合軸(55)はカム溝(33)に嵌まっており、嵌合軸(55)から駆動カム(3)の中心までの距離は、駆動カム(3)の半径よりも短いから、駆動カム(3)にて楽に補助トレイ(5)を動かすことができる。特に、カム溝(33)との圧力角を小さくし、嵌合軸(55)から駆動カム(3)の中心までの距離を短く設定すれば、楽に補助トレイ(5)を動かすことができる。
本例にあっては、トレイ(4)と駆動カム(3)の歯面(30)を噛合させて、記録媒体(6)をシャーシ(1)の前端部にまで搬送させる。次に、駆動カム(3)のカム溝(33)にて補助トレイ(5)を押し、記録媒体(6)の第1コネクタ(60)と、シャーシ(1)上の第2コネクタ(7)を圧着させる。即ち、単にトレイ(4)を搬送すればよいときは、駆動カム(3)に加わる負荷が小さいから、トレイ(4)と駆動カム(3)の歯面(30)を噛合させる。両コネクタ(60)(7)を圧着させるときは、駆動カム(3)に加わる負荷が大きいから、カム溝(33)を用いて補助トレイ(5)を動かしている。これにより、1つの駆動カム(3)にて記録媒体(6)を軽負荷にて素早く動かす動作と、記録媒体(6)を低速でも力強く動かす動作を切り換えることができ、記録媒体(6)の搬送時の負荷に応じた適切な動作ができる。また、カム溝(33)だけでトレイ(4)を動かすと、トレイ(4)の移動ストロークは駆動カム(3)の半径以上には大きくできないが、歯面(30)にてトレイ(4)を、カム溝(33)にて補助トレイ(5)を動かすことにより、記録媒体(6)を搬送するストロークを大きくできる。

記録媒体(6)と第2コネクタ(7)の嵌合を外して、トレイ(4)を後退させ、記録媒体(6)を装置から排出する場合には、上記と逆の動作を行う。即ち、カム溝(33)が補助トレイ(5)を、補助トレイ(5)がトレイ(4)を駆動して、ストッパ(44)が記録媒体(6)と第2コネクタ(7)の嵌合を外した後に、トレイ(4)のラック(46)と駆動カム(3)の歯面(30)が噛合してトレイ(4)を後退させる。補助トレイ(5)はガイド溝(13)に沿って下がり、トレイ(4)の後退を邪魔しない。

尚、図8に示すように、トレイ(4)の前端部に記録媒体(6)が載置されないトレイ(4)がそのまま前進することを防ぐ規制部材(8)を昇降可能に設けても良い。規制部材(8)はトレイ(4)の第1突起(42)に嵌まる長孔(81)を開設した縦板(80)の下端部に、トレイ(4)の底板(40)に接する蹴られ片(82)を設け、バネ(83)により上向きに付勢されている。トレイ(4)に記録媒体(6)が載置されない状態では、縦板(80)の上端部は側板(10)の上縁よりも上側に位置し、蹴られ片(82)はトレイ(4)の底板(40)よりも突出している。このまま、トレイ(4)が前進すると、縦板(80)の上端部が側板(10)の規制片(11)(図1参照)に接して、前進を規制される。
トレイ(4)に記録媒体(6)が載置されると、記録媒体(6)の下面が蹴られ片(82)をバネ(83)に抗して押して下げ、縦板(80)の上端部が側板(10)の上縁から引っ込む。トレイ(4)は規制片(11)に邪魔されずに、前進できる。

図10は、トレイ(4)に載置された記録媒体(6)の第1コネクタ(60)が、第2コネクタ(7)に嵌合する直前の状態を示す側面断面図である。突軸(48)は記録媒体(6)の案内溝(63)に嵌まり、突軸(48)は記録媒体(6)の後端部に位置する。記録媒体(6)の前端部は板バネ(65)によって下向きに押圧されている。即ち、記録媒体(6)は突軸(48)を中心として前端部が上下に変動できる。図10に示す状態で、第1コネクタ(60)は第2コネクタ(7)よりも稍下側に位置している。
トレイ(4)が前進し、記録媒体(6)の第1コネクタ(60)が、第2コネクタ(7)に接すると、入口の面取り等による案内機構により記録媒体(6)は前端部が上向きに案内され、上下位置のズレを補正されながら、第2コネクタ(7)にスムーズに嵌まる。記録媒体(6)の下面は、シャーシ(1)に略平行となり、記録媒体(6)は略水平に設置される。即ち、突軸(48)を中心として記録媒体(6)の前端部が上下に移動できる構成により、記録媒体(6)はスムーズに第2コネクタ(7)に嵌まる。

本例にあっては、図11(a)、(b)に示すように、トレイ(4)の底面後部に持上げ突部(49)を設け、記録媒体(6)の前端部を稍下向きに傾けている。第1コネクタ(60)の上下方向の中央部は、第2コネクタ(7)の上下方向の中央部よりも下側に位置している。
図11(a)は、本例に於いて、トレイ(4)に載置された記録媒体(6)の第1コネクタ(60)が、第2コネクタ(7)に嵌合する直前の状態を示す側面断面図であり、補助トレイ(5)を図示しない。図11(b)は、本例に於いて、記録媒体(6)の第1コネクタ(60)が、第2コネクタ(7)に嵌合した状態を示す側面断面図である。
記録媒体(6)の前端部は板バネ(65)によって下向きに押圧されている。トレイ(4)の後部には持上げ突部(49)が設けられ、これにより、記録媒体(6)は前端部が下向きに傾いている。
