Description
【0001】

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, when the above-mentioned known protective cover is attached to the wire support portion of the suspension insulator, the protective pipe attached to the wire is inscribed in the joint edge portion of the protective cover, and the tip portion is fitted to the joint edge portion. However, both members are not connected so that they cannot be separated. Therefore, when the electric wires are shaken due to the influence of wind pressure or the like and the protective pipes are displaced from each other, the tip portion of the protective pipe is separated from the joining edge portion of the protective cover, and the electric wire in the separated portion is exposed. There was a fear that there was a demand for improvements in terms of safety measures.
[0005]
Therefore, the object of the present invention can be used repeatedly, as well as being able to follow the inclination and swinging of the installed electric wire, so that the mounting state of the suspended insulator to the electric wire support portion is not unreasonable, and the electric wire is improperly used. An object of the present invention is to provide a protective cover for a wire support portion of a suspended insulator which can be completely prevented from being exposed.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, a protective cover for a wire support portion of a hanging insulator as a feature of the present invention includes a cover main body made of an insulating material formed so as to cover the wire support portion side of the suspension insulator, and one end The connecting part provided on the side is provided with a protective pipe for the electric wire made of an insulating material that is fitted to the left and right sleeve parts of the cover main body and is rotatably connected to each other. Both the cover main body and the protective pipe are long. The edges of the cover body that are vertically split along the direction, excluding the center part of the upper surface part of the cover body and the part other than the connecting part side of the protective pipe, are joint edges that stand up so that they can be joined together. The upper surface of the cover main body is provided with notches cut away from both edge portions facing the central portion so that an opening can be formed in the central portion, and the cover Both left and right of the main body The inner surface of each of the parts is formed on a joint surface part that contacts the wire support part side and the connecting part side of the protective pipe, while the connecting part side of the protective pipe includes a peripheral surface part that can contact the joint surface part. .
[0007]
In the configuration of the present invention, the cover body and the protection pipe are preferably made of a synthetic resin having flexibility, for example, made of low density polyethylene, from the viewpoint of insulation performance and moldability. The rotating connection between the cover main body and the protective pipe is accomplished by using an insulating scissors or the like, and each joint edge of the cover main body and the protective pipe is attached to the wire support section side. Later, it is immediately fastened to the joined state using suitable means.
